Yaprak in Mid Sussex

We were celebrating a birthday with family! We sat in the bar area with a drink while waiting for our table. The staff are attentive and the service we recieved was exemplary. The food is absolutely delicious, plentiful and not over priced. It is all very fresh and good quality ingredients Having just moved into the area I am so happy we found it. Can’t wait to go back!

Went here as a couple for my birthday. Booking on line was straight forward. We were met with a pleasant welcome. The seating is plush and very comfortable. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, we had starters and main and found that both were of a good portion that we would probably just have the mains in future. The food was well cooked and tasty, we didn't have desserts as we were "stuffed" ! Drinks were similarly priced to other quality restaurants. The decor and ambiance is really good, we will be back.

We visited in December for a friend's birthday and it was genuinely one of the best meals we've ever had. The food was exceptional - not a single flaw or doubt - and the staff were attentive, friendly and cheerful. The food was so good we've been thinking about it since, and ordered it as a takeaway for our anniversary. Incredibly, the portions were even more generous and just as excellent as when dining in. Absolutely recommended, especially for a celebration.

We booked a table but spoke to the restaurant before arriving. They told us on the phone that we could have the table for 1 hour and half, I explained that we were meeting friends we haven't seen for a long time. The man at the restaurant told us that we could sit in the bar before and after our meal for as long as we liked to continue drinking with our friends. This sounded great! However, when we arrived, this was not the case. We were slightly late but I messaged the restaurant when we were on our way to inform them of this. Once at the restaurant the man was very rude, he told us that we could not have our table as we were too late and then said we could not use the bar, which we were still happy to do. He told us we had to leave. We travelled from London for this night out and we ended up with no where to eat, drink or see our friends. This was very disappointing. This restaurant needs to learn how to talk to and treat their customers. The man greeting guests was extremely rude. The food may be okay but the staff attitude leaves a lot to be desired!!!

Amazing food and drinks. Atmosphere is great. We had a good time celebrating my niece’s birthday! I am a regular now! Nice addition to Burgess Hill.

Delicious food really well presented, amazing drinks and lovely staff. It has the most beautiful decor as well. Highly recommend.

This was my second visit here. After going with a couple of friends in June I knew that my husband would love it. We had such a lovely evening and both agreed that it’s the best place to eat in Burgess Hill. Such lovely decor, a great atmosphere and great menu choice. The staff are so friendly and do not rush you. The time between finishing the starter and being given the main course was perfect. The food and cocktails did not disappoint. We will definitely go again.
