Had a great breakfast from here at lunch time . Delivery driver from just eat in the pouring down rain was very friendly Definitely ordering from Thornes again quality of food fantastic

Stopped in for breakfast recently, place is a bit scruffy and not the cheapest in the ara but quality of food (especially bacon and sausage) very much make up for that! Really friendly staff and nice vibe here as well. First time here, won't be the last.

Passed many times so I thought I would pop in for a cuppa. Got a sausage bap and tea. Both were great If you pass and they are open i recommend it highly

Ordered cheese burger and chip forgot my order so my friends ate there food before I got mine then bring out the wrong order and had to take it back and they said they deep fried my burger which tasted disgusting 🤢 will never go there again total rip off

Great to see Mr Thorne spreading his wings. Great food from great people 10/10 breakfast. Nice to see really good quality meat being served in a cafe.

5 of us went for breakfast. Yet again it was great. Service fantastic, staff so friendly and helpful. Two of us have been a few times before and today we took three friends who equally enjoyed it. Thank you Katie and Clare We will be back

Stopped in for a breakfast & was greeted by the friendliest staff. It is a clean tidy brunch bar, that looks like it has just been decorated. Was served promptly & nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I had black & white pudding with my breakfast, the sausages were perfect! Cumberland sausages supplied by the local butcher!! Streaky bacon was cooked to perfection again from the butchers. Heinze ketchup & a decent latte. To say I was impressed is an understatement. So glad to have this place in town! Keep up the good work

Wickwoods Country ClubTerrible gym plus sauna that doesn’t work likely because keeping the temperature low saves money. What was once Wickwoods with a lovely quality atmosphere is now a corporate David Lloyd -just like any other gym yet paying a premium, this is really unacceptable and unfair on existing customers who kept wickwoods going. Younger folks are paying less for membership so others have been told. They’ve made the gym bigger but it’s just the same as before because David Lloyd increased numbers! There is definitely a divide of customers in this gym. You are just treated as a number at this gym.

9-11 West StreetWe were disappointed when we ordered takeaway fish and chips last night. It was soggy and chips looks just reheated. It so expensive with the price we paid for. It wasn’t the same anymore. We are now put off going there.

30 The BroadwayBeing a lover of fish & chips and travelling a lot for work I get the chance to visit heaps of chippys across the country. The majority serve decent (but not great) food so it's a rare treat to come across one that really stands out from the rest. After reading the rave reviews for Mr Chippy I decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint! The (skinless) cod was moist and delicious with a perfect (not too heavy) coating of crispy batter. And unlike the regular soggy chips most other chippy's serve these were soft and moist with a light crispy edge! I was also very impressed with the service! They were flat out preparing a large delivery order when I came in but still had the time to greet and serve me in good time! I have now marked it as a favourite on Google Maps, and will be back!
