The best restaurants in Shanklin Central Isle of Wight South East

Stopped here after being completely ignored ( again) in tradewinds .....despite it being very busy the service was quick and friendly 👍 recommended

Lovely little cafe. Excellent prices. Service was exceptional. A very lovely welcoming team at the time we visited. Food was 5 star, tasted great. For the price you pay it was excellent. Cash only! Will remember that for next time. Will be back again!

The welcome was first rate. I’m guessing that there was a little problem with staff communication. The young lady who served our drinks was struggling, as some of our party had to wait some time. The food came out at roughly the same time. We were a party of 21. Food. The mixed grill. You couldn’t fault the amount of mixed meats. Lamb and beef, I asked for rare and was told that it couldn’t be done as the meats were cooked in a “package”. The meats came out universally “well done. It seemed to me that they were fairly new to the business and training new staff at the same time. My wife and I, intending returning as a couple next year. Given the amount of effort they’re putting in, I hope they succeed.

I popped in here late in the evening and was welcomed as one of the family. I’d already eaten so I cannot comment on the food but I’m sure that if it’s half as good as my welcome then it’s pretty good. Many thanks Andy

Amazing food. Fish with sag rice was delicious and biriyani lovely. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. We will be visiting again.

Best fish & Chips I’ve had. Batter around the fish wasn’t oily, fish cake was spiced very well great taste, the pie were full and the pastry was not stodgy. We had a 10-15 wait at 6:30 last night but I guess a good fish & Chip shop is going to be busy at that time.

The food is tip top best sandwiches on island. I have been going for 4 years and never had anything less than 100%

Food isn't great no salad garnish or crisps with sandwiches. Everyone was smoking outside. wouldn't return there are lots of other much better places to eat nearby.

It is a local pub hand pulled beef there is three pumps on but one beer to choose.

Absolutely lovely, huge portions , hot not greasy and not packed out with a million onions , really enjoyed our food will be our regular Chinese from now on

Awful customer service. For such a small business, that I’ve heard good things about, their customer service is really bad. Not sure if he’s the owner, but he was rude. A smile would go far it’s not hard :) x
