Tumblers Cafe in Isle of Wight

Absolutely outstanding. Food was great, service was better. Probably the best full English breakfast I've had in years. Good produce, large portions, cooked to perfection. And cheaper than all the local competition. Can understand why they are busy. Total value for money and then some. Also don't be afraid to ask to swap items. Nothing is to much trouble. Will definitely be back

Had the 'Buster Breakfast' Sunday morning, probably the biggest break-feast I've ever had (had the black pudding too), even came with chips! Kids had pancakes all washed down with unlimited tea! Great!

Portion sizes absolutely massive. The food was very tasty. The quality of food was exceptional. It has very good pricing. It was so good we went back twice. The workers were extremely friendly. It is cash only! Would 1000% recommend

Only had drinks, but the food looked great. Good variety including vegetarian . Staff are friendly and welcoming, I will definitely go back to eat there.

I have to smile every time I go into Tumblers, it's such a happy, friendly place. The breakfasts are wonderful and a lot cheaper than most places. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

All big thanks to the worker who gave me a poisonous food and gave me no drinks instead of apple juice, I hate no drinks!

Only had a mug of tea, but everyone else who were eating seemed very satisfied and the food looked good. Value for money. Would recommend this place and I will definitely go there again.

We went there on a Thursday and Friday mainly because there aren't many restaurants on the Isle of Wight. Should have checked the reviews. Ordered 4 stacked pancakes, and they were the most awful American pancakes I have ever had. My 16 year old friend left suffering from heatstroke because we were forced to sit in the sun when we refused to sit there. And my 11 year old friend left half of hers saying it was awful, and it really was awful, and the best part of the meal was the ham sandwich. This was £7 cheaper to make it worse. We were all sick afterwards. Please stay away unless you want food poisoning

Very good local cafe, food is very good, so is the service. I'll be going back. Just wish they took cards. Went back again, consistently good.👍 Still consistently good 13/10/24.

If I not give this awful restaurant any stars, then I would. Don't believe that good reviews are written by people. My African friend got food poisoning, intestinal problems and infections and huge non liquid diarrhea from her 4 stacks pancakes, I never had such a bad meal like that. The orange jam taste like chemicals had to spit it out. Should've checked the reviews. This costs cheaper to make it worse as my African friend was sick hours afterwards. Avoid it's all costs. TERRIBLE. A disgrace to tumblers cafe.

Ordered ham salad baguette, all baguette come with salad garnish but I didn't receive any when asked about the salad garnish lady said the salad is in the baguette misleading advertising 😑 Also Ordered beans on toast with brown bread got white bread, waited long enough for food so didn't want to wait longer for it 2 be changed 🙃

Top of the list when it comes to Cafes. Great food, big portions, reasonably priced but the best thing of all are the wonderful staff who make the place great! If you’re not sure what to get, the Full English is highly recommended.

Fantastic little spot good food lovely staff. Book a table not the biggest place but the veiw is amazing and at a reasonable price.

Station loos closed, bursting to go... torrential downpour. Asked politely if we could use cafe loo ...... We're closed, rude lady said. Nearest loos at bus station 5 mins away in pouring rain. Don't use this cafe.

Tasty food at a very reasonable price. The staff were most welcoming and helpful. Everything was cooked just how we wanted it.

We had breakfast on Saturday Morning befor going home and the food was great service was just as good cannot recommend them more great you did us proud and the dog too thanks again

Nice little cafe and polite staff, also good prices, loved that they have spaghetti hoops as an option as I don’t like beans.

We were starving after an early morning ferry and train to Shanklin. Tumblers was right outside the station so in we went. Amazing breakfasts all round, cooked quickly and well presented. Friendly staff were happy to make adjustments to the set breakfasts to suit individual tastes. Good value too. It seemed popular with the locals which is always a good sign.

Food was amazing, price was more well worth it, u got a plate full and staff really friendly. Such an amazing place, if any one goes to lower Hyde u need to go to tumblers cafe. Prices are so reasonable and you get a meal and half. Wish I could pick it up and take it home with me

Visited whilst on holiday on Friday before heading out to Blackgang Chine the food was prepared very quickly and was absolutely delicious will definitely return soon.

Very disappointed. No signage on the window stating cash only, waited half an hour for the premises to open to discover once Inside that it is cash only. Sadly due to nature of my job and working on the island, I'm not allowed to carry cash. Won't be returning sadly.

Had small fry up and fried bread, ( which is the best iv tasted!) And a proper cup of tea. The prices are amazing, and felt comfortable to go in there on my own. The toilet was clean and fresh too . Didn't think to take a photo of my brekkie, but will next time 😄

Whenever we are on the Isle of Wight we go here, at least once for breakfast. Always busy, which in itself tells a story. Never disappointed. Even been in with the whole family, 10 with grandkids, all orders done at the same time, all good, all satisfied

What can i say, its a propper cafe. Great food, friendly staff and easy parking. Belly Buster is exactly what it says. Prices are very good as well. Highly recommended. Great hangover food...Top cafe.

Tumblers cafe is conveniently placed opposite Shanklin station, so ideal lunch stop for our day out excursion that included a train, hovercraft and bus!. This cafe serves your typical breakfast of bacon, egg, sausages, chips and toast. Jacket spuds and burgers are on the menu. We were served by a very pleasant busy young man who was polite and efficient. The food was excellent, I had the all day brekkie with a filter coffee. This is a very busy place on a Saturday, so you might need to wait a little, but it's worth doing. WARNING, ITS A CASH ONLY. ATM a minutes walk away.

Nice service hot chocolate was nice. overall good prices got a hot chocolate and 2 stack pandcackes maby the pandcackes could be bigger.

Food was great and good value for money. If you don't like beans like me they will swap it for anything else

If like me you require a bigger breakfast to fill you up then this is the place to go. If their Buster breakfast still isn't big enough for you then you simply pay a bit more to add extras to build it up to the desired size. If like my other half you have a more delicate appetite then the small or medium Breakfasts should fit the bill. My other half has developed a bit of a penchant for something they have that's not often seen on the menu these days. Bubble and squeak. You get a free top up on your brew to make sure it's all washed down properly too. With reasonable prices and friendly, efficient staff you never have too long to wait for your food to arrive.

Arrived in Shanklin after a long journey had to walk past this cafe and decided to pop in for lunch, lots of choice decided on baked potatoes with Tuna and salad, large portions plain and simple, busy busy seating inside and out, great value for money.

Been coming to this cafe for 3 decades and always good food and friendly service, always clean and tidy and fairly priced.

Best breakfast on the Isle of Wight, super speedy service, friendly staff and a fully customisable English breakfast (fried bread and black pudding incredible). Will be coming back. PSA: opens at 9am not 8am as it says on Google.
