I’ve just recently moved to a village outside of Horsham. My partner and I ventured into Horsham to find some breakfast and have a wander around the shops. We were delighted to stumble across this little gem of a cafe. Staff were so welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do anything more. A busy spot with a couple of tables outside. Inside was clean, it had a cosy atmosphere. It’s beautifully decorated ordourned with typical Swedish decorations and pantry goods. The coffe bar had a mouth watering selection of pastries, cake slices and sweets treats. It’s cozy but not crammed in which was nice. We did meet the owner who seemed to know and chat to her customers. I had a healthy brekkie with avocado on rye bread which came dressed with a little green leafy salad and sunflower seeds. My partner had the scrambled egg on toast with a side order of Swedish meatballs. Both plates were delicious. Thank you so much for welcoming us, we will definitely be back to sample some of the pastries 😋

We have enjoyed our stay in the castle and in Amberley very much! The room was lovely and the breakfast really delicious! Thank you Yaroslav for the amazing service and making us feel so welcome during our breakfast! Greetings from Poland and Singapore!

Overall the meal was great. We dropped a star for food due to the Halloumi being very thick and the batter making it hard. A sweet chilli dipping sauce would have been great along side the cheese. The fish was very flavorful and the loaded fries were a great treat. Service was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful independent tearoom with a very well thought-out menu. Good size portions with vegan and gluten free options. Creative kid's menu and a selection of cakes to die for. Very customer focussed. Clearly a local's favourite. Reasonably priced. Whether it's a tea or coffee or a filling light snack, you won't be disappointed.

I’ve eaten in here 3 times over the last 3 months and I just cannot fathom how they operate their at table ordering. The first time we came they took over 30 minutes to take our food order, this was a mid week quiet evening. The food itself was very good and we were really impressed, other than the slow service. But we assumed it was just a one off oversight. We returned, this time a Saturday night, bringing another couple with us, we were at our booking for 6.30pm, we thought early enough to not have poor service. This time it was approximately 45 minutes until our order was taken, despite asking twice to give our order. It seems that only the owner and possible 1 other member of staff are trusted to take food orders, this may explain the extreme delays on being able to order your food. 3rd visit, this was a group of us, I wouldn’t have visited again, someone else booked it this time. This was a Monday evening, there was only 1 other table with a couple on. It was nearly 40 minutes until we were allowed to order our food this time (10 minutes after I prompted a waiter we wanted to order). I honestly cannot figure out why it takes so long to order your food, it’s either to delay you so you order more drinks / spend more money or the kitchen can’t deal with the amount of takeaways and it’s to stall the orders. Whatever it is, I shall not be returning due to the sheer frustration.
