I had driven past a few times so felt curious about this place. Luckily, this week I had the chance to stop and have breakfast at The Fold. I had a delicious mojito tea and slice of delightful vegan lemon and blueberry cake. The coffee house is welcoming, warm, clean...everything you need. I will return!

Without a doubt the best coffee shop in West Sussex. Me and my friends will travel 20 minutes for the privilege. Would 10/10 reccomend.

The Fold is a regular part of our weekend routine and in our opinion is the best coffee in the area. The staff are always pleasant and friendly and there is a great little loft room which is super cosy if you want to have your coffee in.

My bonus daughter and I were on our back home and whizzed in to grab something and so glad we did, I had the sausage roll (which felt a bit bad after spending time with the piglets at Godstone Farm) which I has to say, is probably the best sausage roll I've ever had! And my bonus daughter had a feta pastry which she really enjoyed too. The coffee was on another level too and for the slices of cakes, we couldn't decide, so we bought one of each - well why not, we are making memories! They were all divine too. I will 100% be back to that little coffee shop - DO NOT Drive past this little gem!

This is a lovely little coffee shop on the outskirts of Cowfold Village in West Sussex. If you are driving through on the busy A272, can recommend this place for a good coffee and cake/ pastry. Nice interior and good service.

Amazing home cooked flapjack and coffee that smells amazing and tastes even smoother. Really great coffee and a nice spot to enjoy with the dog or your human friends.

We had the best Francezinha we’ve had in a while and will be going back to Tasca’s regularly from now on!

This is definitely a go-to place if you are in Horsham. The menu has a Scandinavian flavour, and my apple cake was deliciously flavoured with cinnamon. The scandi breakfast would be very tempting for those with big appetites. But be warned; it gets busy and is often closed in school holidays.

The friendliest staff. Tasty wrap and arrancini. Can’t wait to make it a regular visit!

We had a wonderful stay last weekend; we arrived to be greeted with a warm welcome from the reception staff, our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Dinner was delicious, a 5-course tasting menu and you can choose from a choice of 3 items for each course. The wine list is extensive and it's all on a tablet where you can select and compare a shortlist before choosing. Breakfast was equally fabulous, a huge choice made to order, and the cooked breakfast was lovely and hot (not always the case). The birds at the castle are a little noisy at sunset/sunrise - if you are sensitive to noise or want to sleep late, bring your earplugs. We weren't bothered by it though. Another review mentioned that the rooms are not sound proofed: it's a 12th century castle, and you can hear things like you would in any hotel. It wasn't a problem at all for us. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Amberley village is lovely for a short walk - they have the Black Horse pub which is fantastic for a drink before dinner, and the food is great there if you're not eating in the hotel. Arundel Castle and town is nearby and also worth a visit even when the castle is closed. Several independent shops and cafes, and you can walk along the River Arun too. We will definitely return to the hotel!
