Fui recibido excepcionalmente cálido por los servidores. Cuando entré de un día de enero muy frío. Obviamente es muy popular, ya que estaba bullendo. Un espacio cálido y acogedor abajo. Tomé un delicioso Panini, seguido de un muy buen Capuchino. Recomiendo encarecidamente este café.

Lovely food is a little pricey but food costs are expensive and great ingredients used here.

Beautifully decorated and cosy pub. Food was delicious and very tasty. Service was fast and the price of the meal was not too bad!! Would definitely come back.

What an amazing gem of a place. We went for drinks and light bites and the food was amazing. Lovely atmosphere outside on a warm summers evening. We can’t wait to go again.

Were intending to eat at the local pub but they were quite expensive. It was actually cheaper to have a meal and a dink here and glad we did. The food and the service was fantastic and a good price

Lovely place, with seats outside including a blanket if chilly. The staff are very friendly and you can have a complementary biscuit with your coffee.

Since moving to the village over a decade ago, this is the only place we ever buy Chinese or Fish and Chips from. The food is fresh, cooked to order, caters to my foibles (no egg on egg fried rice…) and is always served with a smile. The portions are large, we always have enough for lunch the next day and it always tastes as good then. Top tip, call your order in early as they are always busy, for good reason!

Sadly we had a disastrous meal. Long wait for initial order to be taken only to find multiple items we wanted to order were not available but this had not been communicated. Long wait for starters which then turned up cold. Over 45 minute wait for mains. Hopeless waitress. Won't be back.

We booked a Sunday roast at The Duke of Wellington on Sunday , but when we arrived, there was no chicken left. That was understandable, as it can happen on a busy day. However, the sides we ordered instead were absolutely disappointing and we send them back …definitely not fresh and barely edible. What made the experience worse was the lack of any apology or acknowledgment from the staff. The woman who appeared to be the manager or duty manager was not professional in how she handled the situation, which left us feeling quite let down. Unfortunately, I can only give one star, as the overall experience was unacceptable.

Friendly, efficient and welcoming service. Food was fabulous. This was our second visit. Midweek lunchtime and just as good as weekend evening.

Goodbye Goose and hello Annare. Lovely fresh makeover complete with very friendly mum and son team. We were served by the son who apologised for the delay in our coffee. He told us it had been ready but was sitting behind the counter whilst he served a couple of walk-ins...not really what we wanted to hear. We enjoyed a delicious fresh home-baked lasagne and will definately be returning however they serve Illy coffee which is rather too strong for my liking so will try tea next time.
