The best restaurants in Portchester East Fareham South East

I may have written a review before but feel compelled to again ! This is the best take away . The food is flavoursome and delicious , not at all greasy and great every time. Delivery is quick and even tho we are not particulaty local , it’s always hot snd and fab. Prawn puri is a winner and their tikka masala is the best

Just along the Wicor shore at Portchester the Salt Cafe is a nice pitstop for drinks or even brunch/lunch if you fancy food. Failing that there is always a nice range of cakes. Good to sit outside in the sunshine or there are plenty of tables inside.

Worst curry I’ve had in 50 years , save your money

Food took hour and half to come out and then another 20 minutes for the other foods like rice and chips. Pudding was another hour and some of the photos didn't match what was severed.

Been using this bar for a while,always get great service from all the bar staff especially Layla who always has a smile when we come in… I would happily recommend this pub as it has a happy atmosphere and is a very nice place for a drink and a catch up with friends

Today had 2 chicken pieces with chips and it was very nice the chicken was perfect and the chips were fresh complement to the chef 👨‍🍳 the staff were lovely and the boss was nice 10 out of 10 very happy with the food

We have heard a lot of good things about this place, saying its the best Sunday roast they've ever had. So we thought let's give it a go. Well I had the roast beef which was very nice and tender, the wife had the roast loin of pork, which she said was actually quite dry, served with all the trimmings. I would say it was nice, but certainly not the best and at £16 each was it worth it? Maybe. Will we go again? Probably not.

Food is nice but the reason why I rated it a 1star Is because hygiene rated 1/5 so me personally I'm NEVER having it Again SO DONT HAVE IT!!!!!

Took my son today and see the £5 medium pizza offer. Didn’t realise it was app only and phone had died so ordered a different one to find out it was card only and I only had cash, the man who worked there named Mark offered to order it on his app for me getting me the offer. Lovely bloke who went out of his way to help me! ❤️

Went in here today 22/03/2025, bit of confusion over tables with another customer. Spoke to a worker there called Sophie about the situation and she helped us with sorting out another table. With the help of Sophie we got a table. My nephew got his order first and she wiped the table first. He had ordered the wrong burger by accident as there was a lot of confusion with seating arrangements and he was not able to eat it due to medical reasons. My sister went to get something else that he could it and Sophie was kind enough to deal with it for him. Sophie is a lovely person and went out of her way to help us out today
