White Hart Chinese Takeaway in Fareham

Ordered here for the first time tonight, delivery was quick food was piping hot and all fresh it will deffo be our new fav Chinese!

Our families fave take away in the area, always piping hot, on time, generous portions and delicious.

First time I have had a Chinese from here . The food was utterly disgusting . I would think the rice was warmed up . I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Changed ownership AGAIN! All previous ones could do the Kung Po chicken we’ve been buying for years but it now tastes like sweet n sour, not the same, very disappointed. Also won’t be coming back until they drastically improve their hygiene rating. A 2 is not acceptable, it’s laziness!!

Told me 40 minutes wait, I waited for 75 minutes, Good wasnt to the standards I had expected

The worst Chinese I’ve ever had, since the new owners have been there, it’s awful, I gave it one last chance tonight….. NEVER again, they also now have a sign saying any issues with food have to be dealt with that evening!!! Why would you advertise that? I’ve bought it, put it on my plate for simplicity, why would I want to pack it all back walk back down there to have a argument with someone who speaks little English, and quite frankly sees what there selling to be edible…. Dripping in fat and the chips were reheated with a water curry source. Keep the money and from now on in after 30 years, I’ll buy else where.

Hi I've been coming here for years. Since 80's. One of the best Chinese Takeaways around. Plastic dishes. Hot tasty food and other items on menu not at other Chinese takeaways. Squid / scallops etc. I would highly recommend this takeaway. 👌

Super sized portions that taste a bit more authentic.

Has gone downhill since January the service is not great even when you phone they say 20 minutes then wait 30 when you get there, had a curry 2weeks ago and it was pack with onions and peas, like double the amount and the sauce was like a runny gravey, horrible shame because it was a great place.

Foods gone down hill in last 2 months. There shredded beef chilli in peking style was lovely. Thick dark sauce and plenty of it. Quite rightly too given its £6 for that small tub but it was so worth it. Now all you get is dry beef with a tiny bit of light brown sauce if you can call it that is at the bottom. I'd rather they charged me £6.20 for how it used to be if there costs have gone up. Shame. Been going there for 18 years. On the look out for a new Chinese now.

The chips I had were awful they had no seasoning or no flavour but others were okay. However, the person who took orders did not wear gloves.

The young lady who takes your order has with no patience towards customers or no social skills. The food is wonderful though.

Salt and chilli chips are lovely, as to the rest, the most bland tasteless Chinese food i have ever tasted, im really surprised at the high score

Awful watery curry sauce with a weird burnt taste ,too many cheap beansprouts and cucumber thrown in ,half a small mushroom found and chips that didn't taste fresh ,unappealing and uneatable

Food ok but they cannot keep up with the number of customers and estimate their readiness times badly. Be sure to order by phone but take the "ten minutes" estimate with a big pinch of msg.

I moved to portchester not so long ago but had a few chineses from white hart - there crispy shredded beef is actually crispy - very hard to find a Chinese that doesn't serve you soggy shredded beef. The other food is also great Best Chinese around in my opinion!
