Absolutely fantastic! I recently had the pleasure of trying both the Chicken Doner Kebab and the Chicken Burger, and wow, they were truly delicious! The taste was absolutely awesome, and the ambiance of the place really added to the experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. But let me tell you, the Chicken Doner Kebab is something special. It's my absolute favourite! That crispy texture as you bite into it is just unbelievably yummy. I highly recommend trying it!

It left me with an awful impression of the establishment, and I am concerned about the hygiene standards and customer service being upheld. Ordered chicken shish hot fatty lamb chewy meat, called up the shop and yet they just begun accusing me saying that it was delivered a hour ago ??! What’s that’s got to do with the incorrect food ordered ?!

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavourful and perfectly prepared. Veg pizza and chicken burger is too good with herbs and spices and the tender meat. Doner kebab was satisfying with rich sauce and flavour on every bite. Last but not least my favourite oreo milk shake was mouthwatering, rich and creamy.. It is such a delight and refreshing. #Highly recommended.

We ordered 3 chicken shish, not one of us got chicken. I’m not sure what the meat was but it was fatty and very chewy. A big disappointment considering previous meals were delicious

Had a egg 🥚 and mushroom 🍄 burger 🍔 with a cold can of coke the food is very nice 10 out of 10 the boss always friendly and the staff are very friendly to the floors are always clean and tidy the menu is very clear and the drinks cabinet are always cold 🥶

Worst takeaway we have ever encountered, Raw pizzas delivered twice, first one arrived raw asked for it to be done again as couldn't eat it and second one turned up raw too asked for refund as we didn't want it, delivery driver agreed with us that it was still uncooked and rung the owner while with us. Owner gave us abuse and refused refund. Completely disgusting service

Mmmm had better! Food took over an hour to arrive and when it did it was cold. Delivery service needs improvement.

We've tried various food from the menu here and its all fantastic! Kebabs, pizza, burgers the lot. Very impressed with food and the service 👌 the staff on the phone are very pleasant which makes a refreshing change. Would highly recommend.

Have had food delivered home and gone in to collect our food after a night in the social club next door. Staff always polite, helpful and happy to have a chat with you when you wait for food to be cooked. Always had hot and tasty food from here. Good size portion for the price. They keep the place clean and even offered to take me home one night after the usual aqua car cab failed to turn up . All in all a good establishment.

Prices have shot up by about 20%...Won't be ordering here again.

Very good food very good customer service

City Grill is a top-notch kebab spot with exceptional food and friendly staff. The lamb shish kebab is a must-try, cooked to perfection with great flavor. Generous portions and delicious side dishes make for a satisfying meal. The cozy atmosphere makes City Grill a great choice for dining in or takeout.

Placed an order on the website and the tracking doesn’t work so I called the restaurant only to have some rude imbecile pick up to tell me that he doesn’t know where my order is and that he was too busy and hung up the phone on me! Never again!

Food took 75 minutes to arrive and was freezing cold. There were items missing from the order and the store were not answering their phone. Not impressed at all

Ordered chicken and chips for delivery. Chicken was freshly cooked as still hot when delivered and juicy.

We have a takeout once a week from here always lovely, chicken is always tasty and juicy and the donners not greasy at all. Kind staff and even had chocs with our Xmas eve order thankyou :)

Shocking ordered a large kebab meal. 1 hour 40 minutes from order. Said 45 minutes. Then turned up. Refused order. Tried tp phone numerous times. Phone constantly engaged over 1 & half hours. Will never try again.

Delivery took over 2 hours longer than stated, my daughters kids meal was wasted as she had fallen asleep by the time it took, the meals were cold when delivered as they had apparently left the shop 45 mins ago for a 3 min journey

Ordered on website. Got the receipt confirming order, payment pending in bank yet no food. Call after an hour. Very rude staff. Very patronising, didn't even ask to see a copy of my receipt or proof that the payment had gone through and I had the confirm email. The manager hung up on me mid sentence. So poor on a 50 pound order!! I will never be going back. This is not the first time they have messed up an order but the first time they have been so rude about it. I won't be going back. Mistakes happen, but I will be reporting this to my bank when it openes in the morning. Not happy.

Food is mostly good. Mostly go for pizza, but they often do not have toppings (or don't want to open new packs) and almost every time will substitute without saying anything. They will also charge you different amounts each time. Just sometimes really fancy their pizza, it's just a shame it's not consistent!

Great chicken & lamb sheesh kebab. Salad always fresh. Pizzas are also really good. Staff always friendly and polite.

bought from this place and it made my boyfriend really poorly… bad stomach by the looks of it it’s food poisoning. i rang the shop and they said they can’t do anything unless they had proof but remembered the order and the house number… this was a chicken burger and a pizza. very unhappy will not be ordering ever again!

Staff were friendly. We had 2 Donna's and 3 pieces of fried chicken. The Donna's were really good. Didn't go much on the fried chicken though, was too greasy.

Okay. When you order post 11pm you can't expect the best. These guys defy that. Dont know whether theyve got new owners but been smashing it last few months. 2 x Donner meat and chips! Usually that means soggy chips on dog eared meat doesn't it. Not these guys, for the first time I can remember, crispy chips even under salad (fresh as hell) chilli sauce and mayo. Keep the good work up guys, your best in portchy/cosham/Fareham guys!!

We live in Porchester and this place is 100% underrated its so good here the food is on top level the staff are friendly and they adapt for any customer delivery service on point and the food is delicious x

I ordered a chicken diner kebab with lettuce tomato onion. What I got was a lamb kebab,no tomatoes and it was horrible. This is now the second time my order has been wrong. One time I also got delivery and they couldn’t find my address so I had to walk half way to the shop. Very disappointing

Having had to make a visit to Porchester, found the City Grill and ordered two Donner Kebabs. Plenty of meat, salad and green chilli's but the pitta bread, when we git to it just fell apart.

Kebab meat and salad ordered for my husband who can't have bread. Confirmed no pitta twice and man on the phone seemed annoyed at this and when it arrived.... unsurprisingly it was in a pita!! I ordered a burger with no onions and it was full of them. Simple requests and a very easy order unfulfilled.

We have eaten from City grill a few times and we find the food really nice especially the salad they use as it is always Fresh and no discolour I have only had 1 complaint and it was just because they had put chillies into my food instead of my husbands and I hate chillies.

Man on the phone was extremely disrespectful first he gets our order wrong after politely asking for our money back or to receive the right order he then makes it our problem, was extremely confrontational and says there’s nothing he can do and hangs up. AVOID ORDERING HERE AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD IS IN TINY PORTIONS OVERCHARGED US FOR THE ‘CORRECT’ ORDER, NOT WORTH THE AGRO AT ALL.

Arrived early.. Food was extremely greasy and the chicken was salty. The chicken had a dark thin batter on it that was barely crispy. All served in one box hence why the limp warm chips were also not good. Rang up to explain this and not only was the guy rude he made it seem like it was my problem now and not his. He offered a discount next time I order, I said I would not be ordering anything from them again and he then said thank you and hung up.. Very strange way to deal with a customer...

5***** ordered a delivery the food was amazing absolutely delicious I wanted some more chicken so I phoned up and had the extra chicken delivered within 5 minutes, they didn’t waste any time at all to make sure I was happy, I have visited the place for food several times and have always left happy, tonight was the first ever time I’ve had a milkshake from here and oh my goodness all I can say is I will definitely be back to order more of them, they are my new favourite drink :-) delicious is an understatement absolutely amazing xI’d rate higher than 5 stars if I could

Tried this place and ordered a selection of stuff to suit all tastes. What a disaster... The doner kebab was lacking in meat even though we ordered a large on, the meat was stuck on top of the pitta and not inside, the bread itself was inedible. Pizzas we we had a meat feast there was four small slices of pepperoni mostly cheese and too much tomato base. It was very oily or greasy, not very pleasant . Burger was dry and chips although a large portion was nothing more than a good handful not crisp and very bland. The best part of the meal was the guy who delivered it he was friendly. The place needs to up their game majorly if it's to compete with other local fast food outlets. Sorry guys not a good experience.

It was around 2am we received our kebab , considering the time of the order we honestly had let go of any expectations of the quality of the food because at this point we just needed something to satisfy the churning of our stomachs. However , to our amazement what arrived exceeded all expectations and we honestly could not believe how truly unreal our kebab was. We both took our first bite and time simply stopped. We stared at eachother in disbelief and considered if what we were eating was simply a dream, I looked up at my friend and in 4 lovingly words I said 'heaven is upon us' So yeah great food defiantly will be ordering again.
