Ken's Fried Chicken in Fareham

Every bite felt like a celebration of flavors! The chef's skill is evident in every dish, and the service was impeccable. A solid five-star rating for this culinary masterpiece.

Food looked amazing. We ordered it but alas, it wasn't meant to be. They had issues firing up the gas so gave us a refund. The staff were very apologetic and I felt sorry for them.

delivery driver was so rude hung up on me when I was going to guide him in the right direction, all because I said we are waiting for our food. very aggressive when he came to my door in front of my 12 year old daughter not on, food all cold and tiny pots of beans and coleslaw to feed a family rediculous. never using again unfortunately your staff have let you down on this occasion

Order missing three items: dip, BBQ gravy and a burger meant to come with our meal. Coleslaw was in the bag with hot food so got hot and leaked throughout the bag. Chicken strips very dry but edible. Popin chicken and the chips were good though.

I have been violently ill after eating the hot wings from this place I know for a fact they are to blame as that’s the only thing I have eaten following a fast

Call to see delivery ETA and woman on the phone was abrupt told that it's running late but should be here in 15 mins , when order arrived the order was missing popcorn chicken instead we received chicken nuggets . After calling to say the order was wrong same abrupt lady answers and tells me to go online as the didn't have popcorn chicken so sent chicken nuggets .I will no be ordering from there again

This place has one thing and that’s consistency. Consistently giving me a sore bum with there dodgy scran. Would not recommend, is decent when you’ve had a few but you’ll be suffering the day after. Will not be coming back

I'm not one for hate. Or writing bad reviews. But unfortunately I felt it is necessary this time. We thew the takeaway In the bin after trying to eat the chicken. The bitter oil on the chicken was off putting and the chicken didn't give me confidence that it was relatively new or fresh . I felt i was eating a dead animal (which I know sounds crazy) Yep the chips were chewy and dry. As previous reviews have stated .. microwaved over and over. Such a shame to have to write this review but please rethink your takeaway. Hoping Kens can make changes for the future .otherwise they will run off 1st timers never returning.

Ordered 1355 expected delivery 1435. I put the full address. put the pin to where i was on the map. told the reception to keep an eye out. Nothing came. Tried telling me the driver called and turned around. not on miss call and no cars went down the drive as receptionist longing out for it. I think just eat not having a number for this and having to do a refund for the order. i want the delivery fee service fee and what ever else bundled back as well and compensated for 2 hours of my time wasted

I placed an order last night via Deliveroo and when it arrived the chicken was dry tough and just disgusting it arrived cold too the chips were sweaty and just vile the whole order I placed was absolutely disgusting I don’t even know how they can even still sell things there it was very disappointing as I had to throw it away it was that bad

Should honestly be investigated. I noticed how they rarely change the oil to the point its black like tar. The workers also do not wash their hands after cleaning or rotation of shifts.

Food arrived late and missing a burger

The food was greasy and stone cold. The brownie tasted cheap and rubbery for over £4. I will not be coming back. Also, the cheese on top of the chips was completely solid and there was 2 hairs in my food. I wouldn’t recommend at all!

As far as fried food go’s it’s what you’d expect, as for ‘hot’ wings, might have been hot in temperature when it left the building, but no flavour at all. If your into cold fried food with o my the taste of the oil it was cooked in, this is the pidgeon frying establishment for you.

Disgusting...complete waste of money. Chicken dried out & stringy. Beanburger so overcooked it was hard as nails. Cheap soggy chips. Wouldn't give this sh*te

The gravy spilled everywhere all on the other food so was all soggy and cold so couldn’t eat

box’s were soggy. got the wrong order too. absolutely rubbish had to phone up as ask for our orders.

Takeaway order. Utterly dreadful, food swimming in grease, late delivery and replaced chilli’s with can of coke. Avoid.

Great food! Amazing service! Asked for extra garlic sauce and they definitely delivered! (Which means they read the notes from people with allergies too!). Food was hot and very quick- especially great as we live in Gosport! Can recommend lamb doner wrap, fried chicken, chicken burger and cheesey chips! (Shared between 2!) Five stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chicken was a little dry, the go large option has no information about what it is and just seems to be luck of what the restaurant feels like giving at the time, I got 1 extra wing and 3 bits of chicken, which is okayish for £6, but have had other things previously that worked out better value. They did forget my drink though, I will see if I can get a refund for that.

worst chicken establishment iv ever ordered from. the chicken was soggy. chips wer microwave reheated 100% there was a chicken nugget refugee in my boneless box. the mayo was suspect and my icecream was milkshake. avoid at all costs. dont waste money on something i wouldnt feed my dog.

Chicken taken from what should have been a hot shelf... and dropped into the deep fat frier for a few minutes.... left the chicken dripping in oil... Kebab meat not hot or fresh... Dissapointed.

Standard kebab shop scran. Good for after the pub or a hangover but wouldn’t order as a great dinner. Wrap was really nice but the chicken in the burger wasn’t the best, chips were fine.

Food was unedable meat was raw and full of white grease hair in the kebab chips and chicken would never irder from here again the man on the phone was very rude and spoke to us like dirt on his shoe called us lies

Some chips were loose in with the chicken, so too greasy to eat, the sweetcorn was stone cold, the beans not much better, chicken quite greasy and I suspect the oil could do with changing as brown grease on the box and plates, there were lots of chips and good to get 2 bottles of drink, personally wouldn't order again

Food arrived very soggy as it was in cardboard inside plastic bags. Lucky I have an air fryer so I crisped it all back up . Taste was ok, quite salty, chicken strips were nice but the chicken bites were very bland. Chicken burger was nice, lots of salad and generous sauce. I asked for Dr Pepper and got a Pepsi. It was ok, but I won't order again.

Chips were hard/overcooked onion rings were soft/undercooked chicken was also slightly overcooked didn’t attempt to eat the burger as was put off by the rest of the food. Only good thing was can of Pepsi

Unfortunately the food wasn't edible. Although their chips are always very good. The chicken this time was awful, I don't know if the chicken was old and they just warmed it up or if they over cooked it greatly. Its always a very disappointing dinner when you have to bin most of it and make a sandwich instead

That was honestly the worst burger I have ever had. What ever that flavor is but it tasted bitter like the chicken has gone off and definitely not cooked today or even yesterday that had been there a long time. And please don't use that sauce anymore as thats not a good taste at all. None of us enjoyed the food all said something tasted funny. Actually inedible and most has gone in the bin.

chicken wings are really nice quite small though and cheesy chips were perfection, delivery came a lot quicker than said on website. Will be ordering again

The chicken was the most vile chicken I’ve ever tasted no flavour at all so plain, we didn’t end up eating any of it the chips were also very over cooked soaked in oil and tasteless, my money absolutely wasted!!

Terrible & not up to usual standard! All tiny wings & 2 tiny drumsticks with no proper bits of chicken, over cooked & very dry & tasteless & coleslaw was very salty & incorrect drink order! Just horrible.

Love the food but website says they close at 5am and they don't serve food after 1.30, when I've had a boozy night, how am I supposed to get my chicken. Normally love a kens! Open later!!!

Placed an order with Ken's chicken at 11.30. Delivery time estimated for 12.15. They take the money but my order never turned up. They don't even have the common decency to let you know they are running late. Absolutely appalling service. Will report them to Trading standards.

As always everything was first class. Service, food quality, presentation, delivery and value all perfect!

Delivery was late,chicken was dry and two sides were missing Overall very poor.

Undercooked frozen chicken poppers, greasy chicken strips and dry chicken burger. To top it off, they could not even send the correct deserts. Will not use them again

Staff were rude when calling to ask where the order was, we were told that we would have to wait for a manager to discuss our requirements. Then phone got put down without a resolution or a goodbye! Order shown on app as delivered but didn’t turn up. Really disappointed, will not be ordering from here again and wouldn’t recommend!
