The best restaurants in Hersham South Elmbridge South East

They have the best burgers ever. And the chips are delicious too 😘 My grandson loves them and always asks me to bring him there. Very clean, friendly staff and great place.

Visited The Lantern Cafe in Whiteley Village for the first time last week. We loved the coffee and cakes we had, while the setting can’t be beaten. Plenty of room for pushchairs too! Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Look out for the car park signs which we missed, but still managed to park OK. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!

Lovely food and staff. Not people eating in so atmosphere a bit lacking

Lovely hall, used to host a local Salsa event. Drinks are well priced and the staff are always very friendly.

food is actually overpriced for what you get. it's definitely not inedible, but there is better chinese takeaways out there. I would order again from them, but I wouldn't rush back.

Located inside Waitrose. Fresh sushi but limited options. Overall an easy meal for lunch.

I usually go to the same fish and chip shop every time. However, I was delighted after deciding to go to this one instead. The staff were very friendly, the food was great, portion sizes were great (a large chips can easily serve 2 or 3 people) and, contrary to older reviews, they take card payments. This might become my go-to fish and chip shop from now on!

Ordered early at 5.30 when they opened. I have been eating Indian food for years. This food was horrible and had obviously been cooked earlier in the day. We will definitely not order again.

Should change working hours for Sunday. As spent 15min driving to place, just to find it shut. Bad beginning for a day.

Fabulous oldy worldy pub. Proper British pub as it should be. We arrived too late for food, as Sunday roast stops at 5pm. But we still enjoyed a refreshing drink.

Beautiful Venue with caring people

The delivery was really quick but the food was very poor. The spring rolls were massively over done and dry, the black bean and chicken had barely any sauce and was mainly just peppers and onion and the sweet and sour prawns were overly sweet. We don’t get takeaway much but this was a huge disappointment.

A large branch with lots of seating and tables. A good mix of customers present: mothers seated with their young children, friends and a good number of retirees present as well. Internet connection somewhat transient however.
