After exactly one hour of waiting for my delivery, I called Frankies to ask what was happening (the app had initially told me it would be 20 minutes, what a joke). Wow, they could certainly learn a lot about customer service. A young girl who I can only assume was new had no idea what was going on, was having a three-way conversation with me and a man I presume was her boss in the background. The girl told the man ‘This customer has already been waiting for an hour’ and the man didn’t have the decency or courtesy to come to the phone himself and just said loudly and rudely ‘Tell them we have no drivers.’ Erm, as though that’s the customer’s fault? As I said to the girl before ending the call, they shouldn’t accept orders when they know they don’t have drivers and that the way they handled the call was so unprofessional and downright rude. I ended the call saying I would either like a partial refund or a gesture of goodwill or I’d be leaving a review. Delivery finally arrived just under 1 1/2 hours, zero apology, zero refund, zero gesture of goodwill. Portions small for the £22 cost of one meal (for merely one battered sausage, fishcake, chips and sauces), food lukewarm and chips hard, rubbery and far from fresh. So here’s my review. Check out my screenshot in the photo gallery for the times as proof. I’ll never use this place again, they don’t value their customers and are rude to them on the phone when they ask for an update after an hour’s wait. I’ll make sure I tell my many local contacts too. I’ll stick to the fish and chip shop in Station Road, Liphook. They couldn’t be more different… always so welcoming, friendly, make you feel so appreciated for your custom and are almost a THIRD OF THE PRICE OF FRANKIES 😂🤷♀️ Avoid Frankie’s at all costs. They don’t appreciate your custom and won’t apologise when your order takes 1 1/2 hours to arrive… and even then arrives lukewarm cos it’s been sitting around so long! Ungrateful, unappreciative and not worthy of your custom. Update: 10 January: no direct contact whatsoever from the owner despite him having my contact details… just his response below blaming Deliveroo in their entirety! Deliveroo weren’t anything to do with the way I was spoken to by Frankie’s on the phone or the poor quality of the food when it finally DID arrive just under 1 1/2 hours later! Says it all that he’s solely blaming Deliveroo 😮😂 Frankie’s have only had 2 reviews in the past 4 weeks and they’re both bad, mine and one other person’s. In fact, they haven’t had a single good written review for over 3 MONTHS on here (check it out yourself) and yet STILL can’t be polite to their customers or show any willingness to resolve complaints, just blaming Deliveroo instead 😮😂🤷♀️ You really need to start improving your customer service, Frankie’s, and appreciating your customers more when members of the public are the ones to thank for your business and income! Maybe speak to them directly on the phone when they call wondering where their food is, apologise, thank them for their valued custom and learn to take a different approach insead of just being rude and dismissive calling out in the background when they’ve been waiting for an hour! Maybe also learn to apologise for your own errors (rudeness on phone, poor quality food when it finally arrives) instead of solely blaming the delivery company in your response. Absolutely disgraceful all round - might as well have just thrown £22 in the bin, frankly, Frankie’s…. lesson well and truly learnt and I hope others take heed of this warning and spend their hard-earned money elsewhere. Shame on you. Laughable that you have my phone number and yet have remained as quiet as the proverbial church mouse for over 24 hours now.

We had a meal here today with a group of 15 for a family birthday. The Nepalese food here is always great, and we were not at all let down today. Restaurant is lovely and clean and despite the large group our meals were all served together at the same time. It has to be said that the service here is really friendly. They did all they could to make sure it was a meal to remember. Thank you.

Seems a popular tea room in the centre of Grayshott. We had a pot of tea each as there only appeared to be pots for one and cake. Who does not like cake? My friend had Victoria sponge and I had the lime and zucchini. It was nice to have a good variety of cakes to select from. Service was pleasant with friend,y staff. Both tea and cake are well priced.

I’ve newly moved to Grayshott and went yesterday to this takeaway without any expectations and I was delighted with the outcome. I ordered the large £39 set menu for two and when I opened the bag when I arrived home I was impressed with the presentation with clear plastic tops to the aluminium tins revealing the many delicious looking dishes. The starters were excellent as were the mains and the quality of the ingredients impressed as did the generous proportions of good ingredients such as cashews with the chicken or the prawns. I will be going again and if my next trip is like my last will be certain of becoming a regular customer. Keep it up!

This is just take-out. It seems everyone who orders anything in battered balls in the reviews has a tough time of it, so probably best avoid those. Otherwise, we've ordered from them regularly over the last 6 yrs, and bar one time when something was forgotten, they're always punctual, courteous and the food is nice. Lots of choice and everything's tasty (apart from, evidently, those battered ball dishes).

Extremely disappointing to say the least. We like supporting local small businesses but after trying the counter several times it lacks anything of convenience and we will never be going back for the following reasons: 1. They seem to make up about 4 sandwiches daily and rely on selling solely those concoctions without any variation or ability to make up fresh sandwiches with the ingredients i’d actually like. 2. Don’t bother going in past midday as they’ll have little left out - a little confusing for a spot that would surely be ideal for lunch. 3. Not fresh ingredients. Likely due to the above, sitting in “the counter” all day for that one person who likes that exact obscure creation. 4. Relatively uninterested staff who don’t seem to know a thing about welcoming anyone into their business or care if they spend money. All in all a sad experience, I cannot see how you can keep the lights on with a business model so vague and unenthusiastic. I hope management really take note of the above as this sentiment is echoed by many in Grayshott. Until then - avoid and go to any of the other small coffee shops or even, dare I say it, the BP garage - you’ll have a better experience.
