Seems a popular tea room in the centre of Grayshott. We had a pot of tea each as there only appeared to be pots for one and cake. Who does not like cake? My friend had Victoria sponge and I had the lime and zucchini. It was nice to have a good variety of cakes to select from. Service was pleasant with friend,y staff. Both tea and cake are well priced.

We enjoy visiting this lovely cafe a few times each week. It is by far the best cafe for miles around. The coffee is very good and the home made food and cakes are exceptional. If you like pies try one of their lovely homemade pies they are without doubt the best I've ever tasted. The thing that really makes this place special is the friendly welcoming owner and staff. If only all cafes were this good!

This tea room is actually the best we have ever been to. You can tell immediately how much love and care has been put into everything here. The food was amazing, especially the scones ….yum! Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the owner really understands how to deliver first class service. All credit goes to the owners for creating something very special. It’s rare to see it done this well.

Always visit this Tea Shop for lunch when in the area. Lunch is delicious, just love the beetroot salad and the veg crisps served. The decor is so interesting and the staff very friendly and helpful. It’s such a pleasant place to eat, great atmosphere. Reasonable prices too. Easy on street parking or use one of about three free car parks on Grayshott.

This is by far the best lunch option around. There is a varied lunch menu of jacket potatoes, paninis, quiche, vegetarian tarts, lovely salads and a selection of absolutely delicious homemade pies. I had the chicken, leek & bacon pie but they also have sweet potato, butternut squash & feta pie or mushroom or ham & pea or chick peas and something... there was quite a nice choice. Most of these things come with salad and either couscous (which is delicious with things in it) or fried potatoes. They also have a large assortment of cakes.

I invariably invite a friend to this wonderfully welcoming tea room, which also serves lunch, as Kasha, the owner, is extremely welcoming and obliging and she serves extremely fresh and delicious homemade cakes. I was meeting a friend for coffee in the Red Rose Tea room this afternoon. , I arrived before my friend and waited to be seated. The waitress asked which table I would like to sit in, when my friend arrived they took our order for coffee. Then another couple came into the coffee shop who had a reservation. We were then asked to LEAVE as they had booked a table . I have never been treated this way before it looked like we had taken a table that was reserved when in fact we had been given this table. We were told to come back in half an hour and they would be able to serve us. This is not the way to treat customers in your coffee shop

Nice little tea room and the lady who served us was friendly, efficient and unflappable. The panini was tasty as well. Although some will see it as a plus point that dogs are allowed, sadly this will equally exclude others, and for this reason I would not return if I was in the area. It may sound mean but it's a small tea room and so not suitable for people with pet allergies, those who have problems being in close proximity to dogs, or simply find it unhygenic in an eating establishment. For this reason I cannot give it full marks, which is a shame as otherwise I'd have liked to have given it 5 stars for the food and service.

What a delightful cafe. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, who had thoughtfully provided us a nice table as a result of my earlier telephone call. The atmosphere is cosy and quirky-chic. I enjoyed my first ever white tea, which was a very interesting taste. I ordered chicken soup, which was absolutely delicious, and was full of roast chicken pieces and chunky vegetables. The accompanying bread was lovely, crunchy golden crust, with moist delicate bread beneath. My wife ordered the chicken and mushroom pie, which was genuinely home made, with light a tasty pastry. The coffee was of a high quality, and the friendly customer service was first rate. All in all, a lovely dining experience and I will be back. Thank you.

My wife and I went in for coffee and breakfast this morning, and were both very impressed. They have a great range of tea and coffee (mango chai latte is better than it should be...), and make a point of saying on their social media that they offer soy milk and gluten free options for food. Our food (scrambled eggs, and quiche) was well made and tasty, and although we initially thought the quiche was pricey, when it turned up with a large side salad and a serving of potatoes, we quickly decided it was actually good value. A few more breakfast options - even just porridge, and some toast - would be nice though. The best thing about the Red Rose was the welcoming atmosphere: I could have happily lingered over another coffee, and felt very welcome to do so. The staff were attentive and friendly but not intrusive, which really contributes to the feel of the place.

They also bought us some salad dressing which was out of this world - honestly! We enjoyed the food so much that we returned with my wife's brother the next day for lunch. I chose a lamb, chick pea and chorizo pie, my brother in law had the steak and ale pie (both home made) and my wife had the panini again, as she enjoyed it so much. Very summery menu for Dec quiches, slaws and salads. Although delicious. Service slow 30 mins wait for one course.
