This place is amazing! The food is ssssoooooo good! I have food from here regularly and every single time I have been satisfied. Sometimes dine in, sometimes get take away. Even when I am full up I have to keep eating as I cannot bare to see it go to waste its that good! Well done guys. Keep this up!

This is the worst Indian restaurant we’ve been to, the sauces have no flavour, the portions are tiny and staff were rude! I’ve had better microwaveable meals, over priced! Avoid!

Staying in area for couple days and found this restaurant online and also via some excellent reviews online. The food lived up to those standards! Was very amazed at how beautiful the food was tonight, the passanda wasn't on the menu but they made it for me and it was the best passanda i've ever had, excellent! Everything else was matched in quality too, the service was brilliant the staff are very attentive and friendly and the ambients of the restaurant itself completes the great experience. A real treat for the tastebuds 👌🏻

The food here at the Bay Leaf is brilliant and you won't find much better in the area. The curries are fantastic which I had the Butter Chicken, rice and naan bread.

Ordered a delivery for second time in a couple of weeks, that says a lot. Web site not great so suggest phoning to order. Generous portions that are very tasty. Not cheap but you pay for quality and their food is quality. We couldn't finish either food deliveries despite ordering less the second time. This place is a great find, fresh, tasty and filling.

Superbly cooked and presented Tandoori chicken biryani. Staff were extremely attentive and fast. Very pleased with my visit

One of the best Indian we have had in ages. Mixed starter set and Lamb MoMo were truly impressive. Mains were equally good too! Wouldn’t mind driving down from London just to get more of this food in future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️‍🔥

While I have only ever had food delievered, it is by far some of the best curry in the area. Would recommend to anyone who can either go to the restaurant or order online.

Food and value good, service not great, felt very, very rushed. Had only just opened menu when asked to order, came back in 2 mins and asked again, again a min later, when we were ready the waiter completely blanked me, a bit stressfull. Had not been before so had questions which were clearly not welcome. Food made up for it, very good!!!

Food, cannot fault it. 100%. I test Indian restaurants with their Onion Bhajis. Perfect. No uncooked bits of gram inside, like some I've had. I was a bit taken aback when I arrived. Empty restaurant with one table taken on a Wednesday night and was asked "have you booked sir?" I nearly died laughing at the nonsense. And no-one else came in all night. No one had booked!!! Why ask?

It's a five start all the way for me. My family, friends & I have eaten at and purchased takeaways from the Bayleaf for many years and they never disappoint. Fantastic food, friendly staff and according to my father-in-law "The best Biryani that he have ever eaten" A must visit if you've not been before. Andy Clague

Average compared to Chilli Nights in Haslemere or Pipasha in Churt. Madras is mild, sauces are fairly bland. It’s ok, but there’s better options out there.

Always really good food and attentive service. Very pleasant decor inside. If i noted one very minor downside though.....the aucoustics need to be damped down a little. In a full restaurant, the aggregate volume from dinner's normal converations, seemed to produce a composite noise that was intrusive and made it difficult to hear conversationson your own table IMHO.

Farnham WI BNR curry club met again tonight at The Bay Leaf in Grayshott, what a fantastic turn out! The table and restaurant was laid out very well, the atmosphere was so enjoyable. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was very good indeed. Lots of great conversation and lots of laughter, as we all tucked into our tasty dishes. By the end of the evening there were smiles all around, even a staff member (who took a group photo) was a cheeky chap and photo bombed us too, much to everyone's delight. Top night! 🤩😁🍷🍛🍺

Excellent service, great atmosphere. I had Lamb Jalfrezi Mild 8/10 perfect balance, I’d be frightened to order the hot version!, Mushroom Pilau 7/10 (perfect rice lacked a bit of flavour) and Cucumber Raita 5/10 basically Raita and a little runny. Overall 7.5/10 very enjoyable, would recommend

* word of advice if ordering a takeaway do it through deliveroo as they will prioritise their orders and if you get let down you can get a refund through deliveroo* Fancied a takeaway as we had a long day and an early start the next day, had a look online and saw the reviews so decided to give it a try rather than order from our usual. Went to order via Deliveroo then noticed prices slightly cheaper on their own website so ordered that way. When ordering a delivery estimate of 50-80 mins was given , as we were ordering early thought this wouldn’t be a problem. On checking the confirmation email the delivery estimate had increased to 1 hour 40 mins. When this time passed we tried to phone restaurant but couldn’t get through, eventually did and spoke to someone who advised it wasn’t their fault the meal was late, didn’t seem that interested in resolving or apologising. Food eventually arrived over 2 hours later by which time we had already eaten due to the time taken to deliver and too late to eat. Wish I had ordered via Deliveroo it may have been slightly more expensive but would have been easy to cancel / get money back. No idea if the food is any good or not as we had already eaten and as some of the dishes were likely to have been reheated didn’t fancy risking heating them again. I appreciate there can be delays but why advertise delivery times that you are not able to meet (not even close) , I expect any Deliveroo orders were dealt with quicker as there is more chance of a consequence to the business. Really disappointed!

If you are struggling to find the best Indian in Grayshott area, I'll highly recommend Bayleaf... Biryani was amazing and I'll revisit again...

Well executed food, nice change from the 'usual fare', kitchen was very busy keeping up with takeaways while restaurant wasn't overcrowded. Menu presentation could do with a makeover

The food is good but don’t bother having a delivery. Waited an hour and a half and then told to wait another 20 minutes.

Really good curry, not the normal oil-fest you get with other curry houses.

We think this is the best curry in the area. I just had a Birthday party and 24 of us ate in the back area which is smart and feels a little private. Several friends said it was the best they had tasted. One thing I would say is that we often eat vegetarian here as the okra and aubergine are amazing. Mix with Bombay aloo and chick peas and the taste is fantastic. Top place.

Food is very hit and miss have used a few times had more disappointing meals than good ones and very pricey won't be using anymore.

Great food - OK they missed something off our order but sorted it really quickly with no fuss - delicious food - reasonable portion size (I could always have bigger!) - we have ordered a few time since the first lockdown arrived and always enjoyed the food. Will no doubt be back again.

Really nice food, I find it to be the best Indian restaurant in the area. HOWEVER I have ordered from this place probably 30 times over the years and I would say 90% of the time they forget something off the order. They write the stuff on the receipt and charge you for it but somehow forget to pack everything in the bag, it’s an absolute joke. I stopped getting deliveries because it was getting ridiculous. Now I have physically go pick it up and unload the bag in the restaurant to find out what they have forgotten, which is embarrassing but needs must. It’s a basic part of running a restaurant that for some reason they can’t work out at all.

I wouldn't even give it 1 star, it took 2 hrs to be delivered it came cold unappetizing avoid at all costs terrible food!

I think the chef has changed. Not quite as good as it used to be but still very good. Used to have more spices in the sauces and rice and taste like it was made fresh that night, my recent meal tasted good but like it was a bought in sauce.

Top notch Indian food, way better than typical, really quite special. Only 2 beers on offer Kingfisher & Cobra, service could have been better, didn't bring the food out together.

I didn’t enjoy the food this time because it was cold, they forgot my mint yoghurt, and one of the dish was too hot it had 5 green chillis despite the fact I asked for it to be mild. Overall everything went wrong.

Working in Guildford went to the bayleaf enjoyed a wonderful meal the garlic chilli massala was beautiful

Really been wanting to try this place. Went for valentine's, slow service - short staffed. Quality is not worth the price. Did not get advise what items were not offered on the night. Also the order was not taken correctly, kept double checking with us. There are much much better Indian restaurants. Enclosed is the valentine's rose. But best for you to go an try. Around £80 for two adults and two kids.
