Amazing Sunday roast, sweet chilli with chicken strips banging. It was our first time but we definitely will be back. Recommended 100%

Thought we would try sunday lunch... So myself, the wife and friends wanted to try a different pub for our Sunday roast monthly catch up. We had all ordered the roasts which came in due course but was only provided enough vegetables for two people let alone 5! We asked for more vegetables which they came 5 minutes later. Whilst the roast dinners were nice we was shocked to see we had been charged for 2 lots of extra vegetables at £6.50 each!! Another shocker is to be automatically charged for the water that was on the table prior to us arriving with no one telling us we would be charged even if we didn't drink it which I'm absolutely stunned by and would recommend they look at as we all felt scammed when we left and I'm sure it's against trading standards.

Alison and her team were super welcoming and friendly and looked after all of our party beautifully. We were celebrating a big birthday and it was a lovely memorable occasion. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really relaxed. Thank you for helping me celebrate today.

We popped in for dinner after a dog walk and ordered the boar & apple sausage and mash, it was delicious! One of the owners was going to give our dog a treat but unfortunately she couldn’t have the dog treat due to allergies, she went and got the chef to cook some bacon for her, this was such a lovely touch. Great pub, lovely atmosphere and AMAZING food! Can’t wait to visit again!

First time eating here and the food was amazing. We both loved our choices from the extensive menu, steak and chicken burger, fruit crumble and the best bread and butter pudding eaten in a long time The service was swift and the team were friendly and attentive. Without a doubt we will be back and definitely recommend to friends.

Absolutely amazing! Where to start, the car park is a decent size, the Court Yard garden is beautiful and then you enter an extremely welcoming pub and team. The team are tremendous, excellent drinks selection and the menu is brilliant! An absolute gem of pub! Extremely happy to have found this place and will be back.

Popped in for a meal with my partner and was blown away with the welcoming owners & team, great sized menu with fish, steaks, British classics, pizza, salads and more! As well as them running deals throughout the week. A must visit for anyone looking for a proper pub nowadays.

Made a special trip out and arrived at 820pm this evening for a meal. The kitchen is advertised open until 9pm (see pic) -we even checked this before we set off to save a wasted trip. The bar staff consulted with kitchen and told me sorry but we close kitchen early these days. Wasn't their fault and they seemed friendly and genuinely embarrassed. What is wrong with businesses that they will inconvenience customers and turn them away without a 2nd thought so they can close early and get home. We spend several hundred pounds here on Sunday lunch in last couple months. Will we be back? - well maybe but it's far less likely now after being treated like this. There are lot's of businesses that try a lot harder than this. Feeble - no wonder pubs are going broke :-( PS Notice that the owner has posted a reply. Whilst updating the website would help, we were clearly in at 820pm some 10 minutes before the new 830pm deadline. Last orders are therefore clearly not at 830pm! No excuses were offered, no effort was made - so sorry it's still "feeble" and we will not be back.

Absolutely appalled by the food and service,my husbands JD came in a tall glass not a tumbler. Issues with all main meals, didn't arrive at the table correctly. The steak which was ordered at £32 arrived with such a bad smell it was returned to the kitchen, chips on two plates which should have been mashed potatoes then when it was returned the pie and veg were cold at which point I was loosing the will.... The new steak arrived with still a slight bad aroma but was eaten.....liquer coffee arrived black,asked for cream staff provided us with double cream which then curdled and looked disgusting. To top it all we then had a £13.50 service charge added to the bill which naturally I refused to pay......and my friend was on the loo all night after eating the steak. Will not be returning.

It’s extremely hard to find places to eat where the food and service are consistently good. The menu has something for everyone, my favourite being steak. My wife is a vegetarian and there’s also plenty to satisfy her on the menu. If you’re out and about around the Alton area and are looking for a good old fashioned pub serving great food, it’s a must place to visit. There is also a very pretty garden for those who prefer alfresco style eating. Just to say make sure you’re hungry as the food portions are very generous. This is a dog friendly pub with lots of public footpaths nearby with some fantastic walks! They also have rooms to let so that’s a big plus if you fancy a weekend break away. I’d advise you pre book because the owners have built a thriving business in the village of East Worldham and can be extremely busy.

Popped in on a chance from a dog walk and was presently surprised. Great menu but worried it was too big. Fear not our meals were fantastic and not a microwave in sight. Good value as our chicken dish was £15 and the equivalent in the surrey hills last week was £21 Lovely staff and super dog friendly.

Really enjoyable meal, with great service.

Stayed here in our Motorhome for two nights. Great hospitality and food, highly recommend

First time visiting The Three Horseshoes and the food was delicious! Large portions at a very good price. All home cooked meals with good quality! Lovely staff and quick service. I would recommend booking a table as most tables were full on Friday night. Looking forward to coming back soon.

I went this week and had THE BEST bouillabaisse i ever have tasted. Highly recommend!!
