Lovely visit to the kiosk. Lady who served us was lovely and very fair prices! We had a burger, toastie and of course ice cream… the salted caramel is amazing.

Excellent 1st visit of many this year , very friendly accommodating service , food is exceptional value, price , quality & quantity, beautiful clean tranquil surroundings.

We ate delicious, fresh fish and chips. The apple pie for dessert was also delicious! Typical English pub vibes, absolutely great! The lady who served us was also very nice!

Lovely location, inside and out. want a cuppa and cake. Or have a lovely lunch. Good value. Good service. Very friendly staff. I didn't have a dog. But many around again inside and out. Toilet clean, and fresh.

Nice place for a coffee or full menu

A little treasure in the Ripple countryside. An C18 character pub with a large garden and parking. Always friendly and welcoming with wonderful hosts Brian and Roy and the loveliest staff. They have earned their pub award as an 'Asset to the Community'. We have been coming for some years with family and friends and we highly recommend their home cooked Sunday lunch or a tasty weekday treat. Recently we had an event at The Plough and we were so well taken care of, with a heartfelt warm welcome and a delicious buffet with a personal touch. Some of our family had a great overnight stay in the guest rooms too. Thank you Brian & Roy for everything you did for us. You made our day!

First time here in popular restaurant with friendly staff and great food, made very welcome and as previously stated not the usual standard Indian food but much much better with a fantastic choice all presented well and cooked to order. We look forward to returning in the future.

Chose this restaurant for a birthday meal. Excellent service the staff couldn’t do enough for us, food was amazing. Definitely going back!

Pleasant tea room and a welcome stop on the cliff walk. Vintage theme was quite atmospheric. We enjoyed the experience but do check the times as it's a long walk if closed.

Its on a farm that prepares its own ice creams , the quality and range of flavours of which are excellent . Other foods are available like sandwiches which are equally good .The location is restful as its in the middle of the country side which makes the experience more pleasant

The view alone made the meal feel special—right by the coast, looking out over the bay, you can’t really go wrong. The food was solid too, but it’s the setting that stuck with me more than anything. Service could’ve been sharper, and it was a bit pricey, but for a relaxed lunch with a view like that, it felt worth it.

Fui a visitar a mi familia y yo fuimos al otro lado de la Red Lion, diría que es uno de los mejores pubs de St Margarets el personal es muy amable y acogedor. El precio es muy asequible y el ambiente era increíble. No podía pedir más. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Normally the food is great here but not sure what happened. It started off with my drink glass which had lipstick on, then the food we ordered; well the chef over cooked the salmon and the potatoes were terrible and over cooked. The veg was undercooked and so hard practically raw with the cabbage stringy and chewy. The whole plate was dripping in butter fat and there was a long hair. I was repulsed I was going to say something but my friend stopped me. My mate had duck so rare that blood was evident and even he couldn't eat it over the layers of rocket salad. We made a trip especially to eat here all I can say it was awful.

Only spent 1 night here, easy to find, service was friendly and the restaurant across the way was great value for money.
