Lovely staff and interesting specials on the menu. I have to say that what I had from the specials was probably the most delicious meal I have had in an Indian restaurant. My only regret is I will probably never eat it again as we are only visiting the area!

We stayed here for a pit stop overnight when visiting family in a nearby village and this place didn't disappoint. We received a very warm welcome from the landlord and landlady and check in was a breeze. They have a great selection of alcohol and it was really pleasing to see a village pub so busy. The building itself is stunning and much larger than I thought it would be with an extended restaurant and outdoor area with seating. The room had everything we needed for the night, including a bath and a shower and it overlooked the town square which was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. Our room was number 2. The breakfast menu has something for everyone with a selection of cooked and non cooked options and you can tell quality ingredients were used. It was a shame this was a flying visit as the the evening and Sunday lunch menu looked fantastic and we will be sure to try these on our next visit. Overall we felt very welcomed and the pub has a very homely feel to it, we will be sure to stay again next time we are passing.

We have been going here for years as it's relatively local. I also order delivery from other Chinese Take aways so I'm neutral. My daughter however, only likes egg fried rice from this place.....trust me that I've tried everywhere in the Banburyshire area. She only likes this one. Good portion sizes and always hot. I deducted 1 star as no delivery service - that for me is a major inconvenience and why I keep trying top fob my little one on other places egg fried rice options. Personally I like to mix things up but daughter likes what she likes. Really friendly service and quick also.

Another reviewer wrote that the coffee was amazing. Itās not. Itās one of the worst coffees Iāve had the misfortune in drinking. Should have guessed from the name that this place was not going to be great. Food wasnāt great either. Service through a weird little hatch where the staff saw me waiting, ignored me. They served some food to one of the tables. Still ignored me. Only had to say to āhi, weāll be with you in a minuteā but no, canāt even be bothered to say that. First and last time going in.

Dropped in for lunch on way back from a day out. We hadnāt booked, but were seated swiftly in the garden. Can honestly say this is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, and I have had a lot of pizza! Salad and fries also lovely and fresh. Even though itās a 40 minute drive from our house, we will visit again just for the pizza!

I found Knife and Fork bakery after being diagnosed as nearly coeliac to gluten, following the birth of my daughter. I found it a huge adjustment and I couldnāt find any gluten free breads that I liked, until I found this one. I absolutely adore it and I eat it practically everyday. My favourites are the farmhouse sliced sourdough and the cinnamon and date loafs - both of which are constant additions to our food shops. We have also recently tried the brownie mix which went down a treat. I love that I can now enjoy having a slice of toast again, and actually feel like Iām eating proper toast! Thank you.
