Popped in for lunch, drink order taken quickly and left to browse the menu. Ordered 2 big (all day) breakfasts and a jacket spud. Drinks arrived quickly and food not long after. Opted to change the Tomato for fried bread on the breakfast and this was not a problem. Food looked better than in the photos on the menu, was piping hot and delicious! Restaurant was clean and tidy, staff were great, and it was fairly busy all the time we were there, always a good sign. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

Just got a delivery from sunflower. OMG the punnet containers are literally half the size they used to be!!!! Look like they belong in a dolls house...never again
We booked a table, arrive at the time of our booking & they had given our table to another group! This is not how you run a business. No apology! Just can you come back in half an hour or so! So disappointing as we had heard the food was great.
We ordered a hot and cold selection of seafood. The hot dish was awful. The fish was frozen and very uniformed and the batter stodgy. One so called prawn had no prawn in it - just a lump of batter. All processed and revolting for £6.50. The cold dish slightly better but cheap crab sticks. Considering the place is well known for fish we would have got better in Iceland supermarket!
Hardly any chicken in the chicken chow mein, spare ribs were cold, portions very poor. Phoned to complain and the kitchen ( not the lady taking the orders) said that all they would do is give me a half price chow mein next time. We won't go back.
Cafe offering reasonable priced food. Friendly staff. Appears to be popular with local Herne Bay residents.
We visit Herme Bay on a regular basis and usually pop in here for brunch / lunch.
The Beaney Cafe is spacious with high ceilings and probably a good place to meet with friends if you are a little bit unsure about meeting in a public place at the moment. The Earl Grey Cake was absolutely delicious and the staff, as always, are very obliging and friendly. Definitely recommend this as a place to meet with friends during this Coronovirus situation, as long as they stay open!
We've not stayed at this hotel so we can only comment on the public spaces. These were immaculately clean and well furnished and decorated. We had afternoon tea there last week and the sandwiches, cakes and scones were excellent. Appropriate Covid precautions were in place and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. We were so impressed that , even though we are relatively local, we hope to make more use of this charming and comfortable hotel.
Popped in for a quick coffee after being stuck in traffic. Lovely young lady, Lily, served me. I couldn't decide what to have so she recommended I try one of the Christmas drinks. Loved it! Will definitely be back when I'm down this way. So nice to be served by a genuinely friendly member of staff too.🎄
We stopped yesterday 7 June and had the most delicious cherry and almond scone and coffee. Absolutely amazing quality was so fresh and the couple running the coffee shop were so welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to going again
food was really tasty but the portions were tiny! ordered a full english only had one sausage and 2 little pieces of bacon - left still hungry! customer service also needs improving, the staff were nice but didn’t have a welcoming feel. Tables were dirty, a customer was waiting but could see the staff outside the back vaping.
2nd time I’ve used this takeaway and only wished I’d used it long ago.
Best takeaway in the area, best outside of Birmingham!!! food delivery bang on time and food really cooked well, very tasty.
Worst place ever tried to go here multiple times as I am a a holiday home near by every time it’s closed and it says it’s open at the door and online useless waste of time don’t expect them to be open in this tiny village
