Every time we go to Canterbury we come across yet another cafe so we have to try it. We called in for toasties and coffee and were very happy with ours. reasonable price and good service.

Absolutely appalling place, stuff haven’t got the time of day for you. Received 2 full English breakfast that looked lost on the plate once the cutlery was moved out the way. Food was just warm enough to eat!! From the view of this place outside it looks like a fabulous place to relax and recharge the battery’s. Will definitely not be returning even had to lie about the cost of the breakfasts to the mother when she questioned how much they came as she was overwhelmed with what had been served in-front of her. If your stopping for just a coffee this place would be worth it as the drinks are fairly priced at the going rate for drinks but if your considering eating swerve before you waste your money……

Terrible cold food and poor service. Very small portion of cold English breakfast and staff did not care at all. No manager around. Avoid this place.

Visiting from Belgium for two days, we were shopping tired and needed coffee, we almost made the mistake of going to Starbucks where the coffee doesn't have much to do with coffee, and is always served in a big trough!! Then we spotted Love Brownies. Friendly and cosy, and the best coffee we could have wished for. We were revived and ready to continue on our way.

Seating was limited but as much as you could expect for a compact and bijou cafe. Came here with my wife and we both had a Cheese and Spinach Omelette with a bit of Salad garnish. £5 each, perfect for a light mid-morning breakfast. There was no dressing on the salad garnish which they may argue leaves the individual to have the choice, however no choice was offered. Not a major problem though and was given some Olive Oil as requested. The coffee took a few attempts for the lady to understand that i only wanted a normal coffee, not all the fancy names she kept mentioning. Oddly though, the wife's tea wasn't a problem despite there being several different brews to choose from. Food was nice and coffee too. Could have been 4 stars, but I am giving only 3 due to there being historic stains on the seat cushion covers which are in dire need of either washing or replacing. Also the toilet had not been cleaned since 4pm the previous day according to the checklist on the door, (bearing in mind we were there at 12.30pm on the Sunday). The toilet seat was slightly too small for the pan so the need for a clean was immediately obvious. Would we come here again? No, and not because of the above. Even with a clean toilet and new cushion covers there are other places to try in future as we do like variety and sharing our custom.

This cafe isn't great unfortunately. The food was average but incredibly expensive. I ordered a sandwich, literally 2 slices of bread and some tuna with 3 salad leaves on the side and it cost £8. I spoke to the manager who was very dismissive borderline rude. The food took ages to arrive and when it did, my mum was very disappointed with her food and portion size too. Such a shame but there's many more wonderful places to eat in Canterbury.

Superb customer service and flexibility. Post closing time and still welcomed us in for a coffee and cake. Attention to detail while clearing was awesome. Really taking pride in the space inside and out. Coffee (Mocha) came with artistic bear face froth. Epic. Highly recommended. Poster on wall summed it up. “work hard and be nice to people”. Thanks for living by that mantra.

Popped in to this coffee shop for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The coffee was excellent, as was the porridge. Service was professional but friendly. Didn't feel I could have a brownie for breakfast, but will definitely be popping back for one when I'm next in Canterbury!

We are local and love to visit new cafes/places in town. We had a lovely service and tasty coffee but the brownies were not the best to be honest, a tiny paper-boxed brownie served cold; it felt like store bought rather than an award winning special.

We stopped off for a quick refuel stop during a birthday break weekend in Canterbury. Seating available inside and out. The milkshakes were quite special, the ginger caramel flavour was especially good. What was great was a free brownie if it was your birthday, lovely touch! Pop inside if you're passing!

We had a delicious lunch here. Between us we had the soup, mackerel pate, tuna melt and the halloumi toastie. All very generous and tasty. A wide range of drinks too. All served by very attentive, welcoming staff. Would highly recommend.
