Visited here on a Friday Morning as I was working outside, looks kind of a quirky place to have a cafe within, however do not let that put you off I had the full breakfast and it’s probably the best breakfast I’ve had this year by a country mile £12.50 and that’s with a tea not overly massive but it’s delicious none of that deep fried rubbish like other cafes do. Plenty of seating inside and out the back part also there is an upstairs, it’s like a tardis there. The two ladies were very polite and friendly. Its just situated down from the bakery on the high street definitely worth a visit if your in the area. Wheelchair accessible is a no go in my opinion however each to their own. There’s a car park opposite but apparently it’s expensive.

Booked the tasting menu for a 7pm seating, £80 a head on a Friday evening. They’ve been running it a while according to the reviews. Firstly, every single course was amazing. Ample portions, everything was fish based and the most perfectly cooked and prepared fish you could ever wish for. The highlight for me was the Dredgermans Breakfast - a warm oyster topped with bacon and seasoned to perfection! Very hard to find fault with any course though. However, the let down was the timing. For a 7pm seating, I’d expect to be out by 9pm. This wasn’t the case- the first 4 courses came perfectly timed, but after that it slowed to half an hour or more between courses. We left 3 and a half hours after the booking, which I felt is just too long. Anxiously looking at the kitchen doors, half an hour after finishing a course is too long! Such a shame as the food was amazing! I’d have really liked an explanation as to why it took 3 and a half hours, but they ignored me. No other reviews mentioned the time so maybe we got a bad night?

The food here is fairly nice, although can be quite hit and miss. The Coffee is good and generally a nice atmosphere. Although I’ll probably remain a customer here, mostly out of convenience, I felt compelled to write this review as I think management should be aware one of their staff members delivers a very poor service. I haven’t been served by this person before, however when I popped in this morning, and politely requested a particular table (for a specific reason) her attitude completely changed. There was only one other customer in there for the duration, may I add, so it was clearly no inconvenience. She acted completely dismissive towards me after that and made me feel awkward and unwelcome. I hope I don’t have to be served by her again, and it’s a shame considering generally the service is ok.

Windy Corner Stores & Cafe is the entire reason we returned for a long weekend to Whitstable. Absolutely nowhere beats it within miles if you are looking for breakfast, brunch or lunch. We were in Whitstable and returned for 3 consecutive mornings for our breakfast/brunch - the food really is that good. A very wide selection offered on the menu, and all cooked, prepared and presented to absolute perfection. Lovely friendly, welcoming and helpful staff and the creamy mushrooms were outstanding, as well as scrambled egg to die for! We'll be back!

it was a lovely day and we were struggling to find somewhere with enough seating and so were lucky here. Our food was fine, didn't take too long and we were served by friendly people. there is a small garden out back but not enough shade for us so we stayed inside. All good.

Me and my partner visited Keiths Coffee Hut and purchased 2 crab sandwiches. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helpful, the 2 sandwiches both came in a takeaway box and were on thick white bread, loads of filling and served with a handful of pringles. The sandwich was tasty and fresh.

A beautiful but undecided morning. Do I jump a train to Faversham or a bus to Canterbury? Bus won till the app informed me it was going to be twenty minutes late! A bimble through Whitstable found me, face pressed on the window of Grain & Hearth, listening to the temptations shouting “me, me; buy me” Cruffin, cinnamon bun and a large croissant loaf (small were all gone) later, I headed home to sit in the sun, read and enjoy this morning’s spoils with my wife. Get there early. Grab something that takes your fancy and work the calories off by running away from people who expect you to share 🤭

The team working this evening were fantastic, recommending the Rambo and cutting it small enough to carry home in a rucksack! Thank you -

What a good place for a bite to eat in Whitstable after exploring the town - a great choice. I started with a delicious cheese crepe that had a generous filling as I fancied something savoury. The crepe itself was light, just as it should be. Being a Gelateria I couldn't leave without enjoying a gelato, also delicious and came beautifully presented in a lovely dish. And even better on a hot day, they had delightful outdoor area at the rear of the premises to sit, relax and enjoy their food and drink.
