Me and my boyfriend often come here for breakfast as well as dinner for the lovely curries in the eve and delicious cocktails. We've become friends with the staff who go ABOVE AND BEYOND! I recently hosted my best friends hen party here and the staff went the extra mile to ensure it all went smoothly and kept me calm. I brought them flowers but I thought I'd leave a review too to say Betsy and Milo pulled the whole night together and I couldn't thank them more for the perfect night. Highly recommend hiring The Villege for parties or events, they have a stage, mic, soundsystem, dance floor and most of all, the perfect staff to pull it all together. Thankyou thankyou thankyou!!!!
The food was wonderful, the service was pleasant(lovely people), comfortable and welcoming cafe. Definitely a spot we'd return to on our next Brighton trip!
For a lovely, unpretentious dining experience with delicious, home-cooked food and fantastic vegetarian choices, this is a winner! The delightful service and very reasonable prices seal the deal, making it a top pick for us. Be sure to try their chicken souvlaki and swordfish they are real highlights.
A fantastic specialty coffee spot very close to the station.
I went with friends and the barista was happy to make us four different coffees as hand brew pourovers for us to share and compare. They were all tasty and brought out the distinct notes in each coffee!
Certainly worth a visit if you're ever nearby.
Forgot an order. Food is okay, good vegan options, but I’d recommend What The Pitta, as it has a better taste and is cheaper too. Better customer service too.
I was served by a lovely young lady this morning - it was just 5 minute interaction but it really made my day.
Also the drink selection (matcha in particular) is great as well as food selection.
I have loved coming here ever since I moved to Brighton.
I was in brighton for a day and spotted this cafe on the map, it was a great experience, I was warmly welcomed when I entered. The lady helped explain the menu to me. I ordered a Sancha Tea and a Katsu chicken baguette. Definitely the best katsu chicken I've had and the atmosphere was very peaceful. I recommend it 100%.

This place used to be five stars hands down. As you can see, their ratings are sky high on here and on Deliveroo for that reason. However, they have changed ownership and changed names slightly - however the new pizzas are your standard "chip shop pizza as a side gig" vibe with that cheapest possible frozen ingredients. Steer clear.
They also disabled reviews on Deliveroo so you'll notice nobody can change their review or add new ones, and their rating stays high. Completely unethical. All you can do is delete your review, which I've done. The only recent 5 star reviews on Google maps are all the same person who is the owner.
Avoid this place at all costs to avoid disappointment.
