Excellent vegan cafe with a side of a bar!

Popped in for a spontaneous brunch. The café itself is bright, welcoming, and has a really pleasant atmosphere. The service was friendly and we were seen to relatively quickly for our orders - the menu here is extensive, and exclusively vegetarian/vegan! Our drinks arrived in good time - however, the food took almost 1 hour to come out! It was quite busy in the café (though not full capacity), and we would have appreciated at least an update in that time. When the food eventually arrived, it was presented really nicely but I would have liked a bit more from the dish I ordered. The new potatoes were undercooked, and the other items could have done with a bit more seasoning (or at least more of the sauce, which was delicious). All that said, the matcha latte I ordered was fantastic and I would definitely visit again for one of those 💚

Came in today with my husband and two friends. I have a non-severe nut allergy, carry an epipen for extra safety and am fine with cross contamination, however I was refused service. I have never ever experienced this before. Tea @ Hove state on the menu to let staff know about allergens; I’m completely puzzled as to why this is even a thing, if when you do, you are told you can’t eat there. Tea @ Hove clearly do not cater for allergies. We paid for our drinks and left; just an awful situation. Please be aware if you also have an allergy.

Perfect place for lunch. The food they serve is super delicious and every plate looks like a work of art! Highly recommended.

The design, indoor plants, and overall vibe create such a cozy and inviting space. The staff were nice, though they seemed a bit overwhelmed, they didn’t seem happy to be there. The food is a bit pricey. But the atmosphere and quality totally make up for it. Also, some cups had stains from previous use, which wasn’t great. Overall, it’s a nice spot to hang out.

I come to this cafe regularly because it’s close by and spacious with an epic vegan menu, beautiful cakes. however the coffee is not up to scratch and the food is very very salty. I ate an avocado Blt today and it was literally too salty to eat. It’s a shame as it was otherwise tasty and well presented but salt can really ruin a meal. The waitress I told denied that it was too salty and told me they always sell it like that and everyone loves it. She offered to make me a new one but I had already eaten the bread and tomatoes (as I was starving) and i suggested she could reimburse my with a stamped coffee card for next time. She said ok, didn’t bring the free coffee card so I left feeling still quite hungry and disappointed at the quality and service.

Massive portions wow! The food is absolutely incredible, I love how creative and fresh the dishes are.

Good coffee and the almond croissant was delicious. Music was a little too loud at times however, though I did like what was playing.

Lovely place, delicious food, a very unique experience - we just loved it!

Great to see this building finally being housed by something that makes sense, in its surroundings. The interior design, indoor plants and atmosphere make it a welcoming and comfortable space. Nevertheless, each staff member seemed unhappy and defeated in their roles. Could’ve been a succession of difficult customers or most likely, bad management. The food is pricey. A light meal, served on one slice of toast should really have a price point of under £10. Ultimately and regrettably, I won’t be returning, as the coffee was one of worst. Completely baffling, why ceramic cups have been replaced with cups made from recycled materials, especially when it greatly affects the taste of the coffee. Not to mention, seeing the stains from previous users drinks, is not exactly appealing.

Great food with great service. The skillet breakfasts were lovely, we tried both the vegetarian and vegan offerings. The chorizo equivalent was especially good!

We popped in by chance for a coffee and decided to eat while there. The food was amazing and the coffee too. Can't wait to go back again! Our server was super friendly and attentive.

Fantastic place. Lovely staff, the menu is thoughtful, interesting and really delicious and the coffee is great. As are the bloody Marys.

Fantastic menu, with vegan substitutions for everything including tofu egg, feta, sausages etc. I had the Huevos rancheros with added feta and jalapenos and it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend

Lovely place. Not their fault but the Beetroot Latte was the most disgusting thing I've ever drunk - and I love beetroots!

The food is absolutely delicious - it’s my favourite place for breakfast and lunch. The vegan carbonara scrambled eggs and the garlic mushrooms are the two most delicious items on toast I have ever had!

Best coffee and other hot drinks. Super choice of interesting & delicious food. Lovely decor and ambiance. Don't go if you're in a rush, it's very chilled.

We have been here a handful of times & the food was never disappointed. Ambulance & atmosphere is always on point with cozy and warm vibes. The last couple of times we had the scrambled chorizo hash which was amazing, this time the menu had all changed with an abundance of good veggie &vegan options. We ordered the chicken satay pita along with two coffees which were lovely. Unfortunately it would be silly not to mention the negative customer service we received ( at first I thought it was just with me, but then I noticed it was with other customers) There is a 10% series fee added to all bills, which is optional to remove. I asked to remove this as we was on a foodcrawl around Brighton, after opting out, I got very rude attitude in response. Normally the service here is very friendly, but on this occasion it was not.

Ratio of bread to sausage in the sandwiches is absolutely ridiculous - very stingy on the filling. The service and coffee are inconsistent. Shame, as it’s such a great location.

Great cafe serving plant-based food. One of those places where you’d happily be served anything on the menu. In the end I had to do with huevos rancheros which as always, was delicious. The Hashy B’s with salt and chilli reminded me of a Chinese takeaway in the best way. Would absolutely return!

One of my most frequent Hove coffee shops! The food is yummy (great vegetarian and vegan food) and the smoothies too (not too sweet). Service can be slow, but I enjoy the atmosphere so am happy to slow down and take it in.

Always love going here! Last time I had the miso mushrooms on toast and today I got the Korean oyster mushroom pita with a monkey business smoothie. The food is always excellent, really good vegan options, big portions and fair pricing compared to other local places. Service has always been great with friendly staff and quick turnaround time. Lovely atmosphere with all the plants and high ceilings, though when busy it can be a little echoey.

The person serving us didn’t make note of our order; when the order arrived it was incomplete. Why not just use a notepad? On the plus side the food is pretty good and the outdoor seating areas nice.

Lovely gem in Brighton we found when visiting. Love the amount of vegan options. Delicious food and good portion sizes. Great atmosphere on pride weekend and always busy. Would recommend! Unfortunately the staff were not very friendly and it was sort of ‘here’s your food, bye’ no check in on how us or our food was nor any pleasantries exchanged eg what are you doing with your day… also we are vegan and got served real halloumi. We did not realise this until we went back the next day and got served the real vegan halloumi. This is extremely disappointing from a veggie vegan restaurant and I would not expect this from this type of establishment. When we mentioned this to staff we got an unempathic response, not good enough when I have been vegan for 5 years. £2.50 for the halloumi was taken off the bill but staff seemed very unbothered. To end on a positive note, the bakery items were delicious in particular the salted caramel brownie. Would return but will double check in future if food given to us is definitely vegan, shame as hate being a paranoid vegan.

I adore t @ hove! Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, food tastes great and portions are generous . The star of the show for me is their coffee. No idea which blend they use but it was the nicest white americano I've ever had!... and that's saying something as I'm a huge coffee fan so critique it throughly. Only thing to mention is its not very well signed, you could easy wall past the building without knowing what it is, as someone not from the area I struggled to find it even though its quite a large space. Will definitely be going back.

I love T @ Hove! It's a great little coffee shop with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the coffee is delicious. They have a great selection of cakes and pastries, which are all freshly baked. I highly recommend T @ Hove to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a bite to eat.

Food was lovely, hands down best vegan milkshake I have had. The menu feels a little bit cluttered and hard to navigate and prices feel a little high on some of the food. But overall a great place and highly recommend

I love this place and feel so lucky to have such a fab vegetarian/vegan cafe/restaurant near the end of my road. The atmosphere is great, the service super friendly and welcoming, coffee really good, cakes etc amazing, great choice of very food; from breakfast/brunch all the way through. And, they also open early, close late and serve beer and cocktails - so it is a cafe that suits just about everyone!

Blunt food, slow service. The food looks great but no taste.

It's a lovely cafe and the staff are very friendly, but the wifi is unreliable and I have had a few disappointing experiences where I go, make a purchase, and then can't access any of my work so have to immediately leave. If you're looking for somewhere to work, this isn't a reliable place to do it.

We went as a group of 7. We had a mix of smoothies, juices and Coffee and Mint Tea. For food, a mix of vegan and vegetarian dishes. The food was of a good standard and although I am traditionally a meat eater I really enjoyed the food on offer and appreciated the meat alternatives that were on offer. The staff were pleasant and attentive and ensured we were fully catered for. Prices were not cheap but you have to account for the area being Hove as well as the overheads of the business. It was extremely humid even with the doors open so a fan or two may have been helpful. I would recommend to go and take a look and try a breakfast or brunch.

Have popped in to pick up brownies and cakes when I feel like a treat, always brilliant (the caramel brownie especially). Staff are friendly and always pick the biggest slice to give to me. Highly recommend! The gluten free items are fully gluten free and I had no issue whatsoever.

Had a really great breakfast- the best I have had in Hove. Finally a cafe that can make a good breakfast as well as charging a good price!

Tons of vegan options! I had a raspberry and pistachio cake and a vegan chickn bacn avocado sandwich and it was possibly the biggest sandwich I've ever seen. All the food and various coffees (hot and iced) that I had while I was there were all delicious. I'll definitely be back to try out some other options the next time I'm back in Brighton.. specifically those vegan brownies I saw!

A joke. I went for a vegan cake and paid 5 pounds for a piece of crumbles. I should have said something to the lady I left the shop feeling conned. Unacceptable.

The vegan BLT is the best sandwich I’ve ever had

While the staff were great and very friendly, we found the food wasn't up to expectations. The mushrooms on sourdough were presented well, but didn't have much flavour, the ingredients didn't seem to go together (mushrooms, tomatoes, and nuts), and the chips were very plain and basic. Worst of all, our lunch cost as much as a full meal at a regular restaurant. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

My partner and I love this place. Food is delicious and reasonably priced! They offer a nice selection of vegan food too. They have a range of seating, so this is a great place for those looking to work remotely. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a friendly and cosy environment.

Really lovely place. Inside is nice relaxed atmosphere. Outside is a gorgeous sun trap to watch the world go by. Breakfasts and pastries are delicious

Coconut cappuccino with over night oats has become a bit of a favourite for me. Great staff, wonderful food and coffees, nice atmosphere. Its a winner for me. Highly recommend. UPDATE: Private Hire. We hired T@Hove for my birthday this weekend. What can we say, just AMAZING. From start to finish everything has been fabulous. and the cake was the cake of dreams. Helpful, supportive, offered multiple ideas and options, just ace. I can not recommend enough. Looking to host an event, you need to check out T@Hove. Thank you for making my birthday everything I had wanted and more xx

My wife and I stumbled across this place that had a pretty inviting decor. Unfortunately we will never be coming again after witnessing outrages behaviour from one of the staffs and horrible service. We waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive and we realised that other people were served before us that came later. Behind our table were young people who had mistakenly ordered food that contained alcohol in it. The waiter (possibly was the manager) was extremely rude to them. Although it makes sense that someone should have read the menu before placing an order, however it’s normal for people to make minor mistakes. The waiter handled it very poorly. He was very passive and confrontational to them showing absolutely no respect to the customer’s belief. He could have at least apologised to show some courtesy instead of making them feel uncomfortable as it’s common for people to make errors and not everyone would know about alcoholic beverages if they do not drink it! Never coming again. Worst place I’ve ever been to so far. Hopefully they will improve on their customer service and not make others feel disrespected.

Service was excellent as was the coffee - go here and avoid the crimes against coffee from the big high street names!

What a wonderful find. Fantastic breakfast options. Delicious ingredients and well prepared. Tried breakfast on two separate occasions and both were 10/10. Had to back for the coffee also. Can't wait to visit again.

Have been twice and probably won't go a third. The first was relaxing and chilled with some good food. The second was very disappointing; it was about as pretentious as a place can be without actually having it up on a sign...oh and the shakshuka was too salty.

Can’t fault T @ Hove ever. Delicious vegan and vegetarian food. My favourites are the VLT and avo on toast (pictured) with pear, vegan feta, pomegranate seeds, spinach and coconut. I always add vegan bacon ‘cause I love the saltiness! So tasty, can’t stop myself from going back.

5 stars, would give 10 if I could! Service is so wonderful, all staff have big smiles on their faces. Food was ABSOLUTELY INSANE. We had the spicy chorizo eggs (vegan) and it was so tasty and a perfect portion. This was our first stop in a Brighton vegan food crawl and it did not disappoint!!

Love this place. The best sandwiches around!

Staff are absolutely amazing. The manager Eliza and her iconic FOH team always make me feel super welcome. The food is top top top notch. Try the mushrooms on toast or the club sandwich. I don't drink coffee but my partner says that it's delicious and they make a cracking iced chai.

An hour and a half for food in NOT ok. Don’t take the orders if you can’t fulfil them. Or at least explain the wait as you take the orders

Came in for a birthday brunch and was completely amazed by the selection of good and drink as well as the quality. The cocktails were huge and totally worth it. There was plenty space and it was nice a cool which was such a relief in this heat. Will definitely be visiting again

What a lovely coffee shop in Hove. Tried it for the first time, whilst we were on a mini break last week, and the coffee and pastries were terrific. Staff super-friendly and quick. As the weather was sunny we sat outside and people watched... a great way to spend 30 minutes. We'll be back. 👍

Always a treat! One of our favourite cafés in the area. The Marmite and cheese scones are sinfully delicious..

An easy 5 stars. Lovely place, dog friendly, airy and a really nice team. Unpretentious, unlike Oeuf down the road, (which was a massive, overpriced let down), T in Hove is great. 😁 Huevos rancheros for 2 was plenty, and super tasty (get the cheese), the naughty milkshakes with oatmilk made us smile naughty smiles, the skillet for one was hearty, the iced decaf tasty and the Avo go go smoothie had enough greens in it to slow down a small elephant, yet was very tasty. The vegan food also got the thumbs up, and the menu is vast - and will require several visits. Highly recommend.
