Great relaxed pub for tasty drinks, and playing Toads.

This place is amazing. They have quality beers on tap, but my tip is to look at the can listings. Some amazing cans, at very very reasonable prices. Staff are top notch and it has a lovely atmosphere 😃

A small but extremely vibing taproom, where you have a great selection of craft beers ( ones that I never saw before ehich is rare :D ) either on tap or cans/bottles. You can also have some fun with playing one of the oldest pub game in UK, Toad in the Hole. Highly recommended, especially for beer lovers!

Great service from a friendly and knowledgeable bar team coupled with an introduction to a game of toads (?)... crisps weren't bad either!

Range of snacks is 10/10, beer exceptional, staff lovely and the Portuguese red is extremely drinkable - fabulous local

Lovely Tap room in Brighton, friendly staff walked us through the immense list of beers on tap and available from the fridges, highly recommend if you want to try something new and alcoholic in a cosy, friendly environment

Unassuming from the outside but incredibly relaxed and cosy inside, with a fantastic selection of beers which you can also take away. Some nice wine too and good value. Best bit- all the cute dogs!

Came here recently and had nothing short of a great time. Had a wide range of beers to choose from and the bartender was really friendly and talkative. The vibe was really welcoming and cosy. We only planned to stay for one drink but ended up staying for a few hours. possibly my new favorite pub in Brighton. Can't comment on the food however but i would definity recommend this place to anyone.

A great bar/tap room which is a nice distance from the seafront and well worth the uphill trip which takes about 15 minutes. You feel like you deserve a pint by doing that! On a sunny day the outside front area is very pleasant, although it can get quite busy quite quickly. The beer selection was excellent too and well priced. The Bohemia lager was very good and you could spend weeks getting through all they have on tap or in the fridge. The service was friendly too. Would pop by again if in the area.

Fantastic beer and cider selection. Always great keg and cask options and fridges packed full of cans and bottles. Wine and spirits are also available. Toad table in the back as well as a micro brewery upstairs too. Top pub.

Very good visit! Drinks were awesome. Just be ready for a bit of a hike up the hill to find this wonderful craft beer place! But its worth it!

Had a great evening at the pub last night. What a treat to finish our celebration week!! Tasty fish chowder and fab live jazz!!!!

I came here for lunch with friends one Friday. We were the only people on there as we got there early but they staff were very friendly and chatty to us. We all opted for starters and mains and although they did not have my first choice they still had some great food available and it was cooked and presented well. I have been here in a previous incarnation of it but this was my first visit since it had changed. I no longer live in this area but would definitely visit more often if I did.

A great tap list with plenty of choice of cans in the fridge too. Nice setting. Staff good. A craft beer enthusiast haven. Prices fair.

Having struggled to find a good roast in the Hanover area since the setting sun closed. I had the pork belly and it came out lovely and hot good portions of pigs in blankets and nice gravy

We popped in on a whim for a Monday evening treat. As a group of 4 we were really happy to get a table. The staff had a very clear understanding of Gluten Free options on the menu, which was a key criteria for eating here. We were plesently surprised that there were 4 GF options on the mains, as I understand they cook a lot with Rice Flour. The meals were all excellent, however the only minor let down were the starters - A little underwhelming and some a little over priced. Hey ho. All in all though, a really good find.

Very nostalgic, because this used to be my local pub, looks great, excellent choice of beer and friendly staff.

Went for the recent comic and book event, and I stayed all day. Staff were efficient, friendly, and attentive. Beer was superb.

Nice independent brewery ok atmosphere feels safe. Not sure about all beers I won't have holy goat again but otherwise it's nice. Alternative.

Very decent family meal Predictable but none the worse for that Small as Bellas go and don’t take vouchers which is a shame but would come back

We can't be more enthused! The variety is absolutely stunning! The beers themselves are among the best we have ever tasted! What's more? The locale is wonderful, with great minimal decoration, stunning lighting and a veritable new age feel! Oh, the prices are among the lowest in the city! A must visit, that's for sure.

Great pub. Been taken over recently and the place is less like a boys bedroom now. Still a good atmosphere and less of the arrogance the last landlord have which stopped me drinking their for a good three years. Good selection of beers and you can fill your own. Good take away service.

Great craft beer selection, both the beers on tap and those available to takeaway change regularly so there is always something new to try, including Moon Brewery brewed onsite. They are currently hosting delicious popup food. You can also try your hand at the Toad in the Hole coin tossing game.

Fantastic beer selection that changes regularly. Great atmosphere, lovely friendly people who work there. Delicious vegan tacos, fab apple juice for non drinkers. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Went in just passing on Saturday night me and a friend, felt really uncomfortable, very clicky, went to bar for drinks asked for pink gin and the bartender passed us to some else to serve us, which I thought to be very rude, won’t be stopping of again .

I absolutely love this place the beer selection is like nothing else I know of in Brighton. The pubs nice inside and has a good outdoor area, they also have a super fun game called toad.

Amazing local pub with ever changing selection of great independent beers (including some from their great in house brewery “Moon”). All tap beers are available as part of a flight, 3 1/3s allowing you to sample more with drinking as much. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about the beer and the toad table is in fine condition!

This will forever be the place I learned to play Toad in a Hole! Great beer selection, too.

One of Brighton's best kept secrets, this has fast become my favourite bar in the city. They've got a fantastic range of Craft beers and the service is always super friendly.

Lovely hidden gem just out of town. Great home brewed beers, awesome vinyl played by the DJs and a lovely local crowd. Just what Brighton needed 🎉👌 we’ll pop by again very soon, that’s for sure!

Excellent service from friendly staff. There's an encouragement to taste the beer before buying which is nice. Usually there is more gluten free choice. Would have likes a gluten free pale ale on offer.

Best pub in Brighton by a country mile. Friendly knowledgeable staff that are clearly passionate about the pub and the beer that they sell. A brilliant selection of beer on draft (with there being 14 taps to chose from) with a mixture of both local breweries and ones that are further afield on offer. There is also an off licence / bottle shop that is second to none in the local area or indeed anywhere else I can remember. What’s more, with their delivery service, you can have a beer delivered straight to you house. What can be better than that?!?!?!?

Such a marvellous selection of beers; you can order 1/3 of a pint if you just want to sample many different ones, and all served with knowledge & care. Usually space outside.

Impressive selection of local and global beers and a warm welcome. We were impressed with the calm staff after a dog knocked over an entire table of glasses and the owners made a sharp exit. Unflappable and efficient. Will return next time we visit!

Little bookshop at rear and library of cookbooks you can read. Sell great chocolate. Little terrace at front. Definitely one of the nicest and most relaxing boozers in Hanover
