Sad to report the demise in quality from Choices!!
Used to love the food from here, was a real regular, but in the last year it has declined badly, not sure if it's a new ownership issue, or what has caused this to happen. Last few pizzas have been horrible. I'm informed that the burgers are still good, but I wouldn't know personally, no longer my go to Saturday take away! Real shame.
Came to Starbucks with family 2 grandchildren found staff unfriendly and impatient.
I approached counter but later on but the 4 male staff were engaged in their own conversation to serve me .. won’t be going back
ordered two of the same pizza, one with vegan cheese, NEITHER got marked as the one with vegan cheese, there was no differentiation between the two at all. Had to drive to the shop to pick up another pizza, the reason we couldn’t tell the difference between the first two is because they both obviously have normal cheese on them. Good thing we didn’t take the risk. Very disappointing.
*DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS*... I Ordered through just eat, Food never turned up and when I called to enquire where it was the person on the phone was extremely rude saying they had tried to deliver twice and also called my mobile (all complete lies) and then hung up on me. I called back to be told they would not be delivering my food and hung up again then stopped answering my calls..... DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT AND READ the other reviews. I have no bias toward this restaurant and if I hadn't used just eat would have lost almost £40 1 star review because there was no zero or minus option!

I understand that you need to make money but
Stay away from this chip shop immediately!!
£5.00 for a ‘ large chips ‘ turned out to be the smallest portion of chips I have ever received.
The vinegar tasted like gone off oil from uncle shreks palace.
And you know what’s even worse, they charge and extra £2 for a tiny sauce packet.??
The lady at the till was very miserable, tbh she looked like she had eaten all the chips herself giving me that sick old attitude.
Find a better job, instead of putting your misery into other people.
The chips were sharp and dry.
And cut my mouth.
It felt like prison food, it felt like I was the chips prisoned in the fridge lol
They were not fresh at all, it felt like they were kept in the fridge for days.
It asked me which dishes to recommend
So I’m going to avoid that question.
None.
The co-op on Blatchington Road in Hove really is something to behold.
There’s a general atmosphere of chaos and disorder with a side order of dissatisfaction. It’s a very depressing place to shop here since the refit where all the human were replaced with automated checkouts that don’t work.
If the automated checkouts work at all it’s surprising. Security staff will usually be standing there watching customers struggling but not helping as it’s not their job.
Today the staff restocking the curry/ chutneys were swearing loudly and using F word while working. I can’t say I blame them, I would probably be swearing too if I had to work in that depressing mechanical environment.
Older customers seem to hate the automated checkouts the most, so there’s a huge queue at kiosk. Don’t blame them either.
There’s apparently zero customer service available unless you can be bothered to queue at the kiosk. In order to give feedback via the Coop’s online survey you need your receipt, which is a shame because the machines aren’t actually printing receipts at the moment.
Would definitely avoid this shop unless absolutely desperate, and even then would pause to reconsider. It’s a shame Coop have ruined their own shops- not sure if they understand that people dislike it.
Stopped by for a quick bite after a long drive down to Brighton. Gentleman manning the bar was incredibly friendly and more than happy to chat about what there was to do in the area.
Food was nothing special but certainly wasn't bad, coffees and drinks were very well done and the outside tables have a lovely sea view.
We visited during winter when things were quiet so there was very little wait, I suspect, like most of Brighton's cafes, during summer it will get rather busy.
