The best restaurants in Brighton and Hove South East

Came to Starbucks with family 2 grandchildren found staff unfriendly and impatient. I approached counter but later on but the 4 male staff were engaged in their own conversation to serve me .. won’t be going back

Sadly not great. Time before we came and food was OK. Although we had both ordered the same, the dishes looked unrecognisable from each other, (we were told it was the kadt portion very odd to sell the last one half the size! So very different portion sizes and 10 minutes apart, but tasted good. This time however the food was bland and dry, again came at different times, our coffees never arrived despite being told twice they were on their way. We still got charged for them! Wasn't busy, staff seemed to be milling about, but very difficult to find snuond to help. They really needcyo do something about the food and staff, especially gir the prices they are charging. Sad as it started off well.

Delivery.... Stone cold pizza and tiny portion of halumi bites for £30...would have gone to my coop if id known and spent half that on a hot pizza at home....

We all enjoyed our food here, lovely cod and chips. Kids had the nuggets, no complaints from them! Will be returning when next in Brighton

Love this place. It is so good to see a coffee shop really caring about their craft. The quality of coffee is excellent, I only have a black americano and you can really tell the difference. I see some comments here about speed of service. Personally mine was as quick as expected. If you want rapid service you probably should not attend and stick to your high street chains. Where the quality is sacrificed for speed. For me I would rather they take a little more time for a good quality coffee. Service excellent really helpful staff even on a busy day. You can tell they are doing their best to accommodate an eager clientele, particularly when considering the flower pot has a working kitchen with fantastic choice of food. I will definitely be returning 👍

Dirty and understaffed. Only half tables occupied, yet only 3 available to sit at at the remaining vacant tables were piled high the dirty crockery and loaded trays.

The co-op on Blatchington Road in Hove really is something to behold. There’s a general atmosphere of chaos and disorder with a side order of dissatisfaction. It’s a very depressing place to shop here since the refit where all the human were replaced with automated checkouts that don’t work. If the automated checkouts work at all it’s surprising. Security staff will usually be standing there watching customers struggling but not helping as it’s not their job. Today the staff restocking the curry/ chutneys were swearing loudly and using F word while working. I can’t say I blame them, I would probably be swearing too if I had to work in that depressing mechanical environment. Older customers seem to hate the automated checkouts the most, so there’s a huge queue at kiosk. Don’t blame them either. There’s apparently zero customer service available unless you can be bothered to queue at the kiosk. In order to give feedback via the Coop’s online survey you need your receipt, which is a shame because the machines aren’t actually printing receipts at the moment. Would definitely avoid this shop unless absolutely desperate, and even then would pause to reconsider. It’s a shame Coop have ruined their own shops- not sure if they understand that people dislike it.

Desafortunadamente, esta fue mi visita más decepcionante a un centro de jardinería. La comida era pobre y demasiado cara. El centro de jardinería en sí parece bastante bonito.

Debo decir que no estamos de acuerdo con las revisiones anteriores. Mi esposa y yo somos ambos chefs y lo hemos sido por mucho tiempo. Ya sabes lo que te espera con un restaurante asiático pan todo lo que puedas comer, pero nos sorprendió muy gratamente. . La comida realmente tardó en salir y estaba muy bien cocinada, obviamente gambas marinadas y calamares y costillas de cerdo muy tiernas. ¡Vinimos aquí bajo la propiedad anterior y encontramos toda la experiencia extremadamente deslucida! ¡La comida es mejor! El servicio es indescriptiblemente mejor. Los que odian van a odiar, ¡los amantes de la comida van a disfrutar inmensamente! !

Worst Chinese EVER!!! Even if I hadn't eaten in weeks I would never order from here EVER AGAIN!!!

He goes one star to the man at the till. Food was bellow standard and again all the previous comments mainly spot on!

Stopped by for a quick bite after a long drive down to Brighton. Gentleman manning the bar was incredibly friendly and more than happy to chat about what there was to do in the area. Food was nothing special but certainly wasn't bad, coffees and drinks were very well done and the outside tables have a lovely sea view. We visited during winter when things were quiet so there was very little wait, I suspect, like most of Brighton's cafes, during summer it will get rather busy.

Under New management, great food amazing prices and now with no surprise extra costs and a speedy service. Now I go back there on a big regular. Look after these guys :)
