Choices pizza in Brighton and Hove

Sad to report the demise in quality from Choices!! Used to love the food from here, was a real regular, but in the last year it has declined badly, not sure if it's a new ownership issue, or what has caused this to happen. Last few pizzas have been horrible. I'm informed that the burgers are still good, but I wouldn't know personally, no longer my go to Saturday take away! Real shame.

Very disappointed tonight,we have been loyal customers for a long time,tonight our order arrived wrong after many times ordering the same thing,called up to ask for another one to be sent only to be told "they didnt understand" and that the order was right, it clearly wasnt! To then be told they were too busy and we can get credit for next time. My husband couldn't eat his meal!! We even offered to go and collect the right order,but no that wasn't possible either and we were apparantley "wasting there time!" What a joke,very very disappointed as we used this shop quite regularly but we will never go back again.

Went in to get 2 kebabs and ordered kebab meal deal. Man behind counter kept asking me what size pizza I wanted even after telling him it's the meal deal and it's only one size. Lol. Then I noticed other man behind counter place some kebab meat in a fry pan and place it on hot plate to warm up. Cooked pitta in pizza oven then chucked sauce on top the used hands to get salad and place it on top of sauce. Not one of the staff smiled or greeted me with a hello or good evening. I won't be going back there again, it was the worst kebab that I have ever had. Meat was dry cold and fatty and salad was limp and lifeless.

Usually very good. However this time round I assume they were having a bad night?! Ordered an XL doner kebab, and they appear to have forgotten the pitta bread! Just got a large box of meat! Hey ho!

Worst takeaway I have ever ordered! Think the management should look up what the word deluxe means, turned up cold, things missing from the order, need I say any more.

Even this is a star to much..! Went down and ordered food came out with part of it missing and WRONG pizza.. Got home opened it to all the meat dry and not fresh and fatty. So went back down with the food and after a 10 minute discussion got part of my money back..! ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

THIEVES DO NOT USE. Worst takeaway ever. I ended up with no food and no money back due to Terrible food. Terrible service. And extremely nasty manager. Pizza arrived after hour and half cold and stiff and wrong cold stodgy kebab sent. Young female staff member said they would replace and to hand old food back to driver. He arrived hour later with only a kebab so I said this was not acceptable and I wanted money back he said to call shop and left with all the food. I rang shop & Manager was extremely rude and unapproachable he refused money back and refused to actually replace the food i had paid for originally. I have reported theft to the police and will be contacting trading standards on Monday as there is no reference to no refunds or replacement food in the terms and conditions. DO NOT RISK USING THIS PLACE FOOD AWFUL AND THEY STEAL FROM YOU.

Service is always questionable, but I love the place. Tasty food and reasonably priced. Every time my gf is out I get a cheeky kebab in, loving life

Pizza arrived 45 mins late delivery guy couldn't find house . Didn't think of ringing. Pizzas were cold and not cooked

Absolutely diabolical place! If you think waiting 2h 30m for a order is acceptable...2 young children too waiting for their dinner! 11.15 it turned up after ordering at 8.45! I appreciate you may have been busy "god knows why" but if you simply can't handle the pace then at least say sorry we can't take your order we are simply too busy! & when it tured up there was no salad for our kebabs & chips were missing! Paid £50+ for the pleasure of crap service & crap food!! Would not use you again if you were the last takaway on earth!

Lovely food but slightly over priced however you don't realise that until you have ordered as they have don't have prices, or even a menu, on display. And no paper menus either.

Liked it at first but over time the quality has gone downhill. Always was good value for money though

My husband ordered our choices take away through dinner2go to be delivered to us! We waited almost two hours for it. I then phoned dinner2go and asked them about our order with choices. Dinner2go said they only take the order, not deliver it, and that I would need to ring choices about it. False advertising on dinner2go's behalf as their logo even states "we deliver". I then rung Choices who said they don't work with them anymore. The lovely young lady (unfortunately didn't get her name) I spoke to at Choices then took my order for me and said she would try to get the order put through quicker for us. They managed to get it delivered to us in 20 minutes, even though they were extremely busy with orders. She apologised for the mix up, even though it wasn't her fault. She explained they only deal with just-eat now. We ordered a pizza, two kebabs, cheesy garlic bread and fries. All the food was excellent. I would happily recommend Choices to anyone. The service and food is amazing. Thank you Choices, and the lovely lady who answered my call.

ordered a meal at 16:10 today, was told it could not be delivered until 17 :15, I said that would be fine . At 17 : 30 still no food delivered, so I rang them back to ask what was going on, they assured me the order was on its way, Well it never arrived, my daughter had to go out without eating, definately will not recommend this place to anyone, got to be the worst takeaway in the area.

probably the worst delivery service ever , 1 hour and 42 mins , waited so long decided to make something , avoid if your hungry or maybe order 2 hours prior to eating you might get lucky and they will be on time

WOW! Some people love to moan, don't they! I've used Choices for a couple of years now, most Saturdays, and yes, it does take some time , but you know that and plan accordingly - they've always been polite to me and only had one slight mix up in the order but that's not the end of the world! Order and enjoy!!!

Possibly the worst service I have endured at a time when I was hungry. On Saturday 22/11/14, I was at my friends in Portslade and we placed an order through the Just Eat website with Choices. We received the acknowledgement email from Choices within a few minutes to say our order would be processed. After 50 minutes we received a phone call saying they didn't have 1 of the pizzas (egg & spinach) available and would we like to choose an alternative. We asked why it had taken so long to phone about the order as we should have been expecting delivery by now. Their response was they had tried to call 20 minutes earlier (this was a lie as we checked the phone and there was 1 missed call 10 minutes earlier, which meant it still took them around 35-40 minutes to call us about the order). We tried complaining at the time but the operator sounded like she couldn't give a damn tbh, she asked again if we wanted to proceed with the order and we declined as they didn't offer any discount or provide a valid reason for their awful service. I was tempted to walk to the shop as it is only about a 15 minute walk away, so I could tell them exactly what I thought but we just wanted to order from somewhere else quickly to get food. The overall experience was ridiculous and delayed us eating by about 1h45m. I wanted to share this with the paying public and suggest you order your food from anywhere except Choices in Valley Road, Portslade. We have since had an operator call us from Just Eat who has said they will be monitoring this takeaway for the next few months.

Terrible. I ordered a plain burger and it wasn't plain, then when I called to ask for a replacement or a refund. Not only did they refuse but they also called me a lier saying I didn't order a plain burger and that there is nothing wrong with that burger and to just eat it, even the manager said the same thing. Terrible service and terrible customer service. Avoid this place at all costs as they will scam you out of money and refuse to help or even talk to you without patronising you.
