Kind but quite slow service, quite cold place but has its charm so made up for it. The food was usualy pub tastes nothing special BUT beautifully served and huge portion. I'd still go back anytime a sita characteristic and potentially may find spot in warmer areas as well 😆
Gran bienvenida del personal. La camarera era genial muy bien informado y el servicio era justo. La comida era muy buena. Los cócteles eran muy agradables también.

Rooms have everything you need in them. Comfortable and roomy. Bathroom was a little tired but I'm sure it was probably waiting it's turn for maintenance. Good tea tray, TV, iron and ironing board and toiletries. Dog friendly too . Excellent location on the seafront, not far from shops and restaurants.
new kitchen is amazing !! loads of veggie / vegan options and the tacos were so delicious ! have been looking for a place to get veggie birria tacos for sooo long , can’t wait to come back and try the burgers, they looked so good.
staff are so lovely, and the doors open which is great for summer heat! loads of cosy booths inside and also seating outside, fave new spot!!!
We were looking for a pub to kill some time before our off-peak train ticket back to the hotel was valid, when we stumbled upon this small jewel in a side road of Brighton.A big sortiment of keg and cask beers as well as ciders, fair prices and likeable personnel satisfies the needs of every pub visitor who's looking for a cozy place to explore some beers. Would definitely visit again!
We had dinner & cocktails for 14 in the sun lounge. They had set the room up beautifully just for us and the view over the sea is gorgeous! All the staff were lovely and super helpful. The food is not fancy, but it’s reasonably priced and tasty.
Went to Black Lion for a Sunday roast after visiting Brighton for the weekend. The roast was fantastic, big and really tasty (had the pork and veggie wellington) and the service was great, good beer selection and the new refurb looks great.
