We approached OhSo Social to host our wedding reception/party - they did not disappoint! Daisy (events manager) was incredible helping guide us through pricing, decorating options & how they would work with other vendors (eg. DJ). She answered all our questions so quickly & was a dream to work with. The space itself was perfect for 80-100 guests, fully private & with views of the pier. We included food (all excellent), and a bar tab which was very welcome for the guests. OhSo’s staff was amazing at helping us set up the venue on the day, deal with any breakages & ensure our stuff was secure before we picked up the next day. For anyone looking to host a private event on Brighton seafront, look no further! OhSo had it all. Thank you for helping make our special day truly spectacular.

The QR codes are so bleached and faded on the tables now it's the end of season I could not use it to order. I tried to order at the bar, as I have done before and a rather bolshy manager shouted at me to use the QR codes who then flounced off when I told him that both my wife's and my phone cannot process the light green on white QR codes. I've given three stars on service due to the waiter who overhead the conversation and offered to come over and take the order. Management should take a leaf out of their own staff's customer service and not be so rude to customers.

Delicious fries and fish. Chicken goujons are juicy inside and crispy outside. Highly recommend this place.

It's alright but you can only order on their site or if someone comes to your table, not at the bar. This would be fine but their website doesn't work, wifi is slow, and their location on the beachfront doesn't get decent 4G or 5G.

Amazing location. Very slow service. Weirdly they refused to make a margarita with tequila instead of vodka.

Wanted a pornstar martini all day and decided to pop in for a quick cocktail and a snack. My boyfriend and I came in and got some chips, a brownie, a cider, a Pepsi and a pornstar martini. The cider and the chips were the only good things we got (keep in mind the cider comes in a bottle, you can’t really go wrong there). The pornstar martini wasn’t sweet enough and too much alcohol, wasn’t good whatsoever. I was very disappointed and it ruined my day. I don’t really know how to describe the brownie but it was very underwhelming. Spent £36 on this and was very unhappy.

Fish and chips are really delicious!!!!!!! The mussels were even better than the ones I ate in Normandy. It's a place on the road in front of the beach, so you can't help but feel the exciting vacation atmosphere and summer atmosphere! If you go to Brighton, be sure to eat fish and chips here.

Visited at a busy lunchtime drink order took around 10 minutes to arrive but expected for being busy friendly attentive staff food although looks over priced is amazing! With huge portions! Views of the pier and sea an added bonus

We popped in for a lunch on a rainy Thursday (yesterday). The food was quickly delivered, and delicious, and the wait staff were very helpful and friendly. Top notch!

Great location but my Pimms cocktail was small and only had a slice of orange in. The staff were shouting ‘service’ to each other really aggressively and it gave me PTSD of my old hospo job! I couldn’t order at the bar but there was no one to take my order

Lovely spot and always try to go here when the weather is good! It can get quite busy during the holidays and on warm weekends but to be expected. Staff are always lovely! It is a little pricy so keep that in mind!

Breakfast overlooking the sea, what could be better? Great location, reasonable prices. Delicious coffee ☕️ and wonderful staff. I liked that I paid for my order right away.

Please stay clear of this restaurant if you don’t like acidic food. As you can see from the photo, both salads tasted very acidic and vinegary. The wings were good, apart from how one was slightly pink. The Caesar salad chicken, 1 out of 2 chicken slices were a bit pink. And me and my partner have felt that t was no way near worth our money, and I’ve left feeling sick from the acidic taste and heartburn from it. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

A lovely restaurant right next to Brighton Pier. I had a traditional breakfast, as it said on the menu, and my partner had a muesli with blueberries and yoghurt and honey. The food was great. My traditional breakfast was perfect both in the individual ingredients and in the combination. Bravo. The muesli was also very good. The people there were young and very friendly. Criticism - yes. Unfortunately the coffee doesn't taste good. At first we thought that coffee in England was drunk a little sour. People here put vinegar on their food everywhere. But since we also had some good coffees by now, this one was just too sour. So it's probably due to channeling, or not tempered, or too little grist. The last option - fully automatic, I hope not.

Booked dinner here for a group of friends. Early dinner with the plan of staying late. The waiter who greeted us was not the friendliest from the start. Service was ok, food was decidedly average. I had the fish and chips, was only ok. My friend had the chicken sandwich which came out on a dry bun with with small chicken gougons. It looked about as good as it tasted. The others in the group agreed that the food was 'fine'. We paid the bill and left.

I chose this place because it's right on the side. It has a beach bar kind of vibe I only had a drink but it's the ideal place to enjoy sea views.

Refused to serve me because of my nut allergy. Don’t come here if you have any allergy or intolerance.

I had Ben as my server he was so helpful and really helped with us because my sister is a celiac so made sure our food had no gluten whatsoever. He was very cheerful was so positive and really handsome what a great guy xoxox

We were welcomed by a girl called Jaleh, she explained how the system for ordering worked and then proceeded to find somebody to quickly take our order. We were sat very close to where she welcomed people in and I was very impressed how she quick she was to prevent some undesirables to proceed into the establishment making it a much more pleasant experience for us

I work in cocktail bar and this is ridiculous pay £10.50 for cocktail (Long Island Ice Tea) and get glass full of ice and 100ml of cocktail…this how you make money? Shame on you !

No mention of an optional service charge to our bill. Plus no receipt for payment made. We had ask for the receipt

Loved our lunchtime here - very welcoming, attentive, and polite staff. The atmosphere is great - good for families, beers with the gang, or whatever. I had the salt n pepper squid which was so nice. So chilled after the experience!

The food is average considering the cost and other options available along this strip - the chicken sandwich was a slice of bread, a little crumbed chicken ontop and a sad spread of mayo. The service was okay but the vibes and views here make for a great time by the beach with great music and maybe just some drinks.

Ohso offers a beautiful seafront dining experience with excellent food. I heard Ohso is the best seafront spot for F&S. But my experience could have been a bit better. Let me explain: The hostess with long dark hair and the waitstaff (a short blond-haired guy and a long blond-haired girl) provided outstanding, polite, and confident service, always with a smile. However, the manager on duty (Saad, with long straight black hair and glasses) was unprofessional. He was rude to his staff in front of guests and dismissive when I asked about a menu item, making the experience uncomfortable. Despite the excellent staff, his behavior greatly detracted from the experience. Without the positive interactions with the other staff, this would have been a one-star experience. I wish the waitstaff and bar staff best of luck with this “leader”. Ah, I loved the “Pride” written on top of the foam of my Guinness pint! ❤️🌈

Great location, right on Brighton Beach. In the evenings you have a great view of the sea here. Fish & Chips are a clear recommendation. Only ordering via the QR code didn't always work smoothly.

Went just for drinks very lively music all going on was very good. Party atmosphere banging.

Went for breakfast and very underwhelmed. Poached eggs were hard, coffee weak and what self respecting bar can’t make a Bloody Mary.

Decent fish and chips spot in Brighton, but the fish isn’t great and the chips are a bit flabby and undercooked. Service was still decent and the bathrooms were okay, but could definitely be a bit cleaner. Nice spot, but there’s big room for improvement.

Great location right on the beach near the pier. Shaded tables outside. Good selection of seaside food: I had fish and chips and the fish was large, the batter crisp and delicious, and a sensible portion of chips (sometimes in other places I get enough chips for 3 people!).

Good Location on the beach, and the costs of food and drinks reflect being slightly higher than average. What I don't appreciate is that a service charge is automatically applied, especially as the staff asks you to order via your phone. The live music was also not as good as previous visits

We started off with the squid which was overly chewy and tasteless My partner had a beef burger for mains which did not look or taste anything like Beef I had to hot n chicken chicken sandwich which was meant to be served on a brioche bun but was instead serve on a tiny bit of bread which feel apart when I tried to pick it up. We left more than half of the food Really disappointing meal, definitely better places around for cheaper and better quality food

Visited OhSo recently and was unable to purchase drinks. We sat around for an hour under a booking unable to get drinks, they then overcharged multiple people using dodgy contact system payments per table. Avoid at all costs, they’ll overcharge you.

Absolutely disgusting bar, I visited recently with a large group under a booking; their payment system was down for over an hour so no one could get a drink on the app or at the bar. Then their staff went to individual tables taking orders through contactless payments. The first order went through individually fine, then they decided to charge me for an entire groups drinks, without clearly explaining. I got charged for 2 rounds of a groups drinks I didn’t even know, when I thought it was just for my order and wasn’t able to see the cost due to them using a tap and pay method and not explaining. I’m now £120 down when I should be £30. I contacted the manager Bikash who refused to help or process a refund on the matter. Sincerely advise you avoid as well, as they’ll try and scam you and refuse to refund their mistakes.

Perfect place for drinks or brunch - we booked a late brunch and was treated so well, moved tables no issue, change to breakfast items no issue, we were well looked after by the team and manager was especially attentive. Lovely view out to sea and would deffo recommend for cocktails and great grub with your mates. 5 stars all round.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. The location being right on the sea is amazing and the best views. Food was very well done. I enjoyed the full traditional breakfast bacon tasted flame grilled and was amazing. 10/10 for me!!

Sat down for a drink (there looked like a good selection of beers available), but couldn’t order at the bar, the QR code took me to a menu that said they weren’t taking orders, and the staff weren’t coming over. Shame.

If you realise you are paying for the seaview then you will be happy to pay for average food at an expensive price. Had the hot and spicy chicken which was definitely not hot and spicy. Served in a hot dog bun because they had run out of Brioche! Come on! Send someone to the supermarket and buy some. Chips were not fresh but re fried. Staff were friendly and efficient. Raise your food standards guys.

All you can eat fish and chips and mussels. It’s so delicious and it’s a place that only I want to know about! Be sure to eat mussels with garlic sauce!!

The fish and chips were the best I ever had. Thick CRISPY peppery batter and crispy chips washed down with perfect campari spritz . Our server Ernie was perky cute helpful and very smiley. Perfect end to our beach day. Quality food

Right by the beach, this spot has a fun vibe. We stopped for drinks and snacks. Had to drive so we opted for the zero-proof crodino aperol which were great and tasted just like the real deal. The cauliflower bites and fish & chips sandwiches were solid too. Staff was friendly and super mindful of any allergies. Would definitely come here again!

Apparently apersol spritz now come in half glasses but for the full menu price. Terrible value

Pleasant place along the seafront. We had a few bites as a group - not a huge selection but I enjoyed what I had (particularly the tator tots with chilli jam!) Cocktails were nice enough but on the small side for the price I would say.

Poor service, waiting 40-50minutes for a pint asked 4 members of staff where it was, no apology at all. Food was poor considering the price you pay. If you order through any member of staff they put a service charge on without asking. Very disappointed I wouldn’t recommend, so many other nicer places with better value for money.

I can only say , it's an amazing place to stop by , sit down and enjoy your time!!! Staff is so friendly and helpful ❤️❤️❤️ the atmosphere is superb, there is a vibe of music going on and it's on the coast, so what could you want more ! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Dog friendly, they even bring a bowl of water for the dogs.

Lovely bar right on the beach with good food and drinks what more could you ask for . Unfortunately now you have to watch who serves you as certain members of staff hit you with a 10 per cent service charge ware as the better ones don't.

Great place for food drinks and live music.

More like SOSO Social, the only good thing to say about this place is that it's on the beach. We ordered an Aperol Spritz and a pint of beer. The Aperol Spritz was watery and half full, the pint was also not full. Not really what you'd expect when you're paying London premium prices (+ a sneaky 10% compulsory service charge on top). Would absolutely not recommend this place.

Great bar and music. This is a great place to sit in the sun, looking out at the beach but not get beaten up by the high winds. Firmly recommend this place.

Stopped here for lunch treat during work. Ordered a fish finger sandwich and drink. Drink arrived within 5 minutes, but after 35 minutes of sandwich not arriving , I had to find a member of staff to ask where it was. He went to the kitchen and came out to me with my food and handed it to me standing up…..no cutlery, no apology, no service. Absolutely appalling service today and it wasn’t helped by the fact that the food was horrid. Dry, overcooked chips and stale tasting bread. Will not be going back and do not recommend.

Please don't eat here. The problem is not the quality, I don't know about that yet but it took them forever to make our fast food basket. We waited more than 45 minutes and asked multiple times. Received our food after 55 minutes, the food was decent the "excuse for the long wait" wasn't. The 1 star will stay, why am I ordering fast food if it takes almost an hour to get it?

Nice bar on the seafront. Only stopped for a drink so don’t know what the food is like. The dishes we did see looked good. Nice large outdoor terrace that’s got good views of the sea and the pier. There’s also an indoor section for when the British weather isn’t so good.

Waited 15 mins outside, was ignored, went inside to be told “we are really busy, order on the app. So, we ordered on the app, and waited 50 MINUTES ! Forgot the lemon on my fish, and it was only ok in flavour. Very pricey for what you get. By the way, there were only about 25% of tables occupied. Go away from the beach, there’s lots of better restaurants.

A very expensive seafront venue. £21.55 for 2 drinks.

We booked a table for 9 of us, for a celebrational weekend weeks in advance. Service was friendly to begin with, and we got a lovely table in the sun. But half the menu was available, waitress kept forgetting drinks on our order and took 40 minutes to come back to take our food order. (We had to call her back.) When food was ordered we was about to pay, and we were told we couldn’t split the bill and had to pay it in full. Before the food came out which we found weird. Just as our friend was beginning to type the pin in to pay, she tells us it’s an hour wait on food. Shocking this wasn’t said to this on arrival, or before we started ordering. Tables that arrived after us were served quickly and had food arrive within a small time frame. To top this, we were charged an “optional” service charge. Which again, we wasn’t told about and only realised when we were reading over the receipt to individually split the bill. Which they were unable to do.

Awful service. Awful food. Avoid this place like the plague

The fish and chips were the best not only in Brighton but also in London. The staff were friendly and the sea view was fantastic. It's a nice place with a peaceful yet passionate feel.

Trying Fish and Chips at a seaside restaurant was one of my lists, and we came here unplanned, turns out the food is soooo delicious, the fish is actually big, and fresh. My friend had English breakfast and that’s a lot , worth the price . The staff are friendly especially a man with glasses that served us.

Great atmosphere. Food and drink pretty expensive for what it was. Friendly staff and a good vibe. Really enjoyed the guitarist. When the DJ came on, the mood dropped a bit so we left. Really recommend this place. Be sure to book ahead.

What a day to visit Brighton and enjoy the pleasure of this beachside establishment. I can firmly suggest you all take time to enjoy the food and atmosphere, located right next to the pier this makes for a great bussling vibe perfect for the summer days. Service was also exquisite may I add! Harvey served myself and the entire family and did an excellent job! So great to meet chaps like him, who show up to work with the ut most professionalism yet still feels like you’ve had a human interaction. You’re going places son! It was a pleasure, I’d go back simply to see Harvey so you should all too. My children also loved the food!

Very over rated and over priced place on Brighton beach. There are number of good places around and one can easily pass this. We went in a group of 5 and ordered number of items. Cocktails and drinks were 10 to 13 pound each; pints around 7 pounds. For food we had fish and chips, seafood platter, burgers and sandwiches. Portion sizes were large, could not finish. Overall food was quite oily.

A great seafront venue. We were there on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The food was top notch and decently priced. The service was great and there was live music from 1pm. The live music really fitted in well and wasn't overbearing.

They forgot we orderd. But we already paid in avance .after nearly 1 hour after frequently asking .we took our food with us .

DO NOT BOTHER. We had friends visiting so booked a table for 15. Although we stated we needed 3 high chairs. We were seated immediately next to the stage so was extremely loud. (That being said this is not a child friendly venue) We then tried using the QR code to order drinks. This wasn’t working. Waited 20 minutes for service. Once someone arrived they kept missing people from our table to I had to go back a few times to get someone over again to finish taking our drinks order. Then it came to food. What an absolute show this was. Only a limited amount of food was available and we were only told this after ordering. The staff then gave us alternatives that weren’t suitable due to dietary requirements. We were told there weren’t any nachos. Yet someone on our table ended up with a bowl of nachos. We had our nachos order cancelled and re ordered 3 times over. We were also told there was no pulled pork yet 3 of our table were served pulled pork burgers. The server then got to our friends sitting at the end of our table to take their food order and were told the kitchen was CLOSED!!!! How is it acceptable to only take some of our party’s food order? The servers did not seem to bat an eyelid. No care at all. The drinks were shocking too. £12 for an espresso martini that had about 3 sips worth. Will definitely not be returning. Absolute shambles of a visit.

Brighton has many, many places to choose from but this is THE place to go. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is exhilarating, the views are something else )especially at sunset and IT’S DOG friendly!!! My little Mia loves it there! Rain or shine she’s always up for an afternoon at OHSO. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and accommodating. We had a sumptuous lunch. The ambiance was so good that we had a good time at the beachfront.. with live music fish & chips are my favorite.. highly recommended.. been here for 3rd x. But definitely be back again soon ..

Great beach bar with good views. Bit of a sun trap to catch some rays. They do a nice aperole spritz.

Very good size cod, service was great. Fish was a little greasy but great all the same! Staff were excellent!
