Right at the front on the promenade overlooking the beach and sea views. Only had a drink. Friendly staff. Outside on the massive patio area nice sunny evening with a cold drink. What a place. We didn't eat. It was really busy. Dogs are welcome.

£9 for a Pims cocktail that was a glass packed full of fruit, 2 sips and it was literally gone. Spoke to the staff and they said nothing can be done. Disgusting treatment and 0 value for money!

Very average. Wouldn't accept cash and had my pants pulled down to the tune of £20 for 2 small Aperol Spritz.

We only had aperol spritz here ordered through the app. Was very slow but staff sorted immediately when we made them aware. Great location and not as expensive as you'd imagine.

Great location! Waiting time to get drinks (even with the QR) is a bit long though and it wasn't even a full terrace.

Food was incredibly oily! We ordered the fish and chips and the fish was dripping in oil. The chips werent cooked as some of them were raw. Portions were not portioned properly as I had a few chips and my friend has alot. We asked for water and that didnt even appear. The only thing good about this place was the tartar sauce and even then thats a stretch. For what they charge they didnt deliver. Such a shame

Over rated, service was shocking. Received half our order and had to chase 5 different servers to rectify their mistake.

The atmosphere is nice, but the taste is average. I don't think I'll go there unless it's at the beach. The staff took my order wrong and it didn't come out even after waiting for a long time. And even when I call to tell them that there was a mistake in my order, they don't even come to the table.

The food was terrible! But good location and service. The corn tasted like it had been microwaved for ten minutes and then grilled, I couldn’t finish it. Would not go again, choose somewhere else on the seafront.

Hard to rate this place. The front of house were very accommodating, we didn't have a reservation but they sorted us out. However the food is NOT good (unless you just want chips). No one in our party had anything nice to say about the food and there were 11 of us. Our first round of drinks (when there was just 3 of us) took a long time to arrive (the food came out before the drinks). The subsequent rounds were a little better in speed. The gents were ok but the females in the group said the toilets were not nice. What was good, the location and the live singer

Crap Aperol...and when challenged they said they are trained by Aperol...hmm bull**** I've had plenty of Aperols to know this was a crap..end of...

The atmosphere is great and the food is especially good when Chef Paul is in. Potions sizes are perfect and it's a great location both day and night.

Popped in for a 🍺 stood at the bar, was refused a 🍺. Bar fella Said it was "Table service only" utter rubbish and a very lazy way to run a bar. It's a never again.

Great location, the domes are looking at bit worse for wear. Food wasn't the best but the atmosphere and location makes up for it. Toilets needed some attention.

A fish and chips restaurant recommended by the tour guide. This is my first time serving fish and chips with a whole fish. It was a little greasy, but it was delicious when eaten with the accompanying sauce. Since it comes in a whole fish, there is a lot of it. There are no thorns, so you can eat it comfortably.

An absolute gem by the seaside! 💙 The fish and chips were spot on—beautifully crisp batter with perfectly flaky fish inside. The mussels were rich, fresh, and full of flavour, served in a wonderfully hearty broth. To top it all off, the service was impeccable 🌸Bikeish🌸 was incredibly warm and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're after a proper seafood feast with a stunning seaside atmosphere, this place is a must 👍

Amazing food the best fish chips I ever had. Fresh gynormous fish. Great bubbles. Nice pods that you can sit in outside. Friendly staff. I give this experience an overall 10/10. Recommend it to everyone 100%.

Popped in for a hot chocolate. It was ok, hot chocolate wasn't very hot so needed to be drunk straight away. Sat in an igloo, more for entertainment if anything. Probably won't come back but imagine it'll be a cool place during the summer months. February half term isn't cool

I went there with my friend for breakfast and food was good, when we checked the bill, the staff just take the card machine to charge us GBP36.60, we felt a bit strange and asked for a bill to check first then found the bill was GBP33.60 instead, We were surprise what the staff doing and maybe they always do it for tourists? Then of course we did say nothing and paid GBP33.60 then go. Will not go back this resturant again.

Super friendly and warm staff. Peter is a great host. The server was always at hand and attentive. Happy to fulfill all special catering requests. Atmosphere is bright and welcoming, great place for a drink after work or to come with family and friends for an evening out.

We attended for an office Christmas party. While the food was actually very good, the music was dreadful. there was a singer on during the meal who was very good, but she finished just as the meal service ended and then the music became dreadful and was neither christmassy nor suitable for an older age group. We asked numerous times for it to change and were told it was a pre recorded list. They then played a few 80s songs but by that time all of the other tables had left and there was no atmosphere at all. We really felt that once the meal was over they just wanted us to leave, we wont return.

I can imagine with the nice DJ / music outside and many people in then it is buzzing. We went on a quiet lunch. Deciding to get a bag of chips for £4 on the boardwalk instead we sat and ate here. For burger and chips with a drink it was almost £50. The place nor the food commanded London prices. The food was nice, certainly not the price tag when you can get seaside fish and chips vastly cheaper on either side. Dogs allowed so big bonus points there.

Came here for a family dinner. The pods look good, but have no atmosphere and end up sitting in a silent small room. Thr meals are expensive and portions very small. Had to send kids back as it was burnt and our meals were warm at best. Might be ok in the summer, but we had a disappointing evening meal here.

Great place to stop for a few drinks, watch the world go by, the beautiful beach and seafront.

The QR codes are so bleached and faded on the tables now it's the end of season I could not use it to order. I tried to order at the bar, as I have done before and a rather bolshy manager shouted at me to use the QR codes who then flounced off when I told him that both my wife's and my phone cannot process the light green on white QR codes. I've given three stars on service due to the waiter who overhead the conversation and offered to come over and take the order. Management should take a leaf out of their own staff's customer service and not be so rude to customers.

Ella respondió a todas nuestras preguntas tan rápido y fue un sueño para trabajar. El espacio en sí era perfecto para 80 - 100 huéspedes, totalmente privado y con vistas al muelle. Incluimos comida (todo excelente) , y una pestaña de bar que era muy bienvenido para los huéspedes. El personal de OhSo fue increíble en ayudarnos a configurar el lugar en el día, lidiar con cualquier rotura y garantizar que nuestras cosas estuvieran seguras antes de que recogiéramos al día siguiente. ¡Para cualquiera que busque organizar un evento privado en el paseo marítimo de Brighton, no busque más! Así que lo tenía todo. Gracias por ayudar a hacer que nuestro día especial sea realmente espectacular.

It's alright but you can only order on their site or if someone comes to your table, not at the bar. This would be fine but their website doesn't work, wifi is slow, and their location on the beachfront doesn't get decent 4G or 5G.

Quería un martini estrella porno todo el día y decidió venir a tomar un cóctel rápido y un aperitivo. Mi novio y yo entramos y compramos unas patatas fritas, un brownie, una sidra, una Pepsi y un martini porno. La sidra y las patatas fritas fueron las únicas cosas buenas que conseguimos (ten en cuenta que la sidra viene en una botella, realmente no puedes equivocarte allí). El pornstar martini no era lo suficientemente dulce y demasiado alcohol, no era bueno en absoluto. Estaba muy decepcionado y me arruinó el día. Realmente no sé cómo describir el brownie, pero fue muy abrumador. Gastó £ 36 en esto y fue muy infeliz.

Fish and chips are really delicious!!!!!!! The mussels were even better than the ones I ate in Normandy. It's a place on the road in front of the beach, so you can't help but feel the exciting vacation atmosphere and summer atmosphere! If you go to Brighton, be sure to eat fish and chips here.

Visited at a busy lunchtime drink order took around 10 minutes to arrive but expected for being busy friendly attentive staff food although looks over priced is amazing! With huge portions! Views of the pier and sea an added bonus

We popped in for a lunch on a rainy Thursday (yesterday). The food was quickly delivered, and delicious, and the wait staff were very helpful and friendly. Top notch!

Great location but my Pimms cocktail was small and only had a slice of orange in. The staff were shouting ‘service’ to each other really aggressively and it gave me PTSD of my old hospo job! I couldn’t order at the bar but there was no one to take my order

Lovely spot and always try to go here when the weather is good! It can get quite busy during the holidays and on warm weekends but to be expected. Staff are always lovely! It is a little pricy so keep that in mind!

Please stay clear of this restaurant if you don’t like acidic food. As you can see from the photo, both salads tasted very acidic and vinegary. The wings were good, apart from how one was slightly pink. The Caesar salad chicken, 1 out of 2 chicken slices were a bit pink. And me and my partner have felt that t was no way near worth our money, and I’ve left feeling sick from the acidic taste and heartburn from it. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY!

A lovely restaurant right next to Brighton Pier. I had a traditional breakfast, as it said on the menu, and my partner had a muesli with blueberries and yoghurt and honey. The food was great. My traditional breakfast was perfect both in the individual ingredients and in the combination. Bravo. The muesli was also very good. The people there were young and very friendly. Criticism - yes. Unfortunately the coffee doesn't taste good. At first we thought that coffee in England was drunk a little sour. People here put vinegar on their food everywhere. But since we also had some good coffees by now, this one was just too sour. So it's probably due to channeling, or not tempered, or too little grist. The last option - fully automatic, I hope not.

Booked dinner here for a group of friends. Early dinner with the plan of staying late. The waiter who greeted us was not the friendliest from the start. Service was ok, food was decidedly average. I had the fish and chips, was only ok. My friend had the chicken sandwich which came out on a dry bun with with small chicken gougons. It looked about as good as it tasted. The others in the group agreed that the food was 'fine'. We paid the bill and left.

I chose this place because it's right on the side. It has a beach bar kind of vibe I only had a drink but it's the ideal place to enjoy sea views.

I had Ben as my server he was so helpful and really helped with us because my sister is a celiac so made sure our food had no gluten whatsoever. He was very cheerful was so positive and really handsome what a great guy xoxox

We were welcomed by a girl called Jaleh, she explained how the system for ordering worked and then proceeded to find somebody to quickly take our order. We were sat very close to where she welcomed people in and I was very impressed how she quick she was to prevent some undesirables to proceed into the establishment making it a much more pleasant experience for us

I work in cocktail bar and this is ridiculous pay £10.50 for cocktail (Long Island Ice Tea) and get glass full of ice and 100ml of cocktail…this how you make money? Shame on you !

Loved our lunchtime here - very welcoming, attentive, and polite staff. The atmosphere is great - good for families, beers with the gang, or whatever. I had the salt n pepper squid which was so nice. So chilled after the experience!

The food is average considering the cost and other options available along this strip - the chicken sandwich was a slice of bread, a little crumbed chicken ontop and a sad spread of mayo. The service was okay but the vibes and views here make for a great time by the beach with great music and maybe just some drinks.

Ohso offers a beautiful seafront dining experience with excellent food. I heard Ohso is the best seafront spot for F&S. But my experience could have been a bit better. Let me explain: The hostess with long dark hair and the waitstaff (a short blond-haired guy and a long blond-haired girl) provided outstanding, polite, and confident service, always with a smile. However, the manager on duty (Saad, with long straight black hair and glasses) was unprofessional. He was rude to his staff in front of guests and dismissive when I asked about a menu item, making the experience uncomfortable. Despite the excellent staff, his behavior greatly detracted from the experience. Without the positive interactions with the other staff, this would have been a one-star experience. I wish the waitstaff and bar staff best of luck with this “leader”. Ah, I loved the “Pride” written on top of the foam of my Guinness pint! ❤️🌈

Great location, right on Brighton Beach. In the evenings you have a great view of the sea here. Fish & Chips are a clear recommendation. Only ordering via the QR code didn't always work smoothly.

Great location right on the beach near the pier. Shaded tables outside. Good selection of seaside food: I had fish and chips and the fish was large, the batter crisp and delicious, and a sensible portion of chips (sometimes in other places I get enough chips for 3 people!).

Decent fish and chips spot in Brighton, but the fish isn’t great and the chips are a bit flabby and undercooked. Service was still decent and the bathrooms were okay, but could definitely be a bit cleaner. Nice spot, but there’s big room for improvement.

We started off with the squid which was overly chewy and tasteless My partner had a beef burger for mains which did not look or taste anything like Beef I had to hot n chicken chicken sandwich which was meant to be served on a brioche bun but was instead serve on a tiny bit of bread which feel apart when I tried to pick it up. We left more than half of the food Really disappointing meal, definitely better places around for cheaper and better quality food

Good Location on the beach, and the costs of food and drinks reflect being slightly higher than average. What I don't appreciate is that a service charge is automatically applied, especially as the staff asks you to order via your phone. The live music was also not as good as previous visits

Absolutely disgusting bar, I visited recently with a large group under a booking; their payment system was down for over an hour so no one could get a drink on the app or at the bar. Then their staff went to individual tables taking orders through contactless payments. The first order went through individually fine, then they decided to charge me for an entire groups drinks, without clearly explaining. I got charged for 2 rounds of a groups drinks I didn’t even know, when I thought it was just for my order and wasn’t able to see the cost due to them using a tap and pay method and not explaining. I’m now £120 down when I should be £30. I contacted the manager Bikash who refused to help or process a refund on the matter. Sincerely advise you avoid as well, as they’ll try and scam you and refuse to refund their mistakes.

Visited OhSo recently and was unable to purchase drinks. We sat around for an hour under a booking unable to get drinks, they then overcharged multiple people using dodgy contact system payments per table. Avoid at all costs, they’ll overcharge you.

Atmosphere was great. Food was great Staff were great. Manager especially was real friendly

Perfect place for drinks or brunch - we booked a late brunch and was treated so well, moved tables no issue, change to breakfast items no issue, we were well looked after by the team and manager was especially attentive. Lovely view out to sea and would deffo recommend for cocktails and great grub with your mates. 5 stars all round.
