The best restaurants in Weald Central Ashford South East

The food was reasonably priced, and vegan. The service was quick. The victoria sponge and meringue tasted like the real thing. It was SO lovely having hens wandering around our feet.

I wasn't aware you could stay here, I just thought it was a pub. We came here on a weekend when they had a live band playing in the garden. The inside seemed quite small, but it was a lovely day and there was a really good size garden with plenty of tables and a play area for the kids. The service was really friendly and the food was really tasty. Would definitely recommend.

Great food , Sammy and Carolyn always make you feel so welcome, in fact all the staff are great. Can’t praise them highly enough one of the best pubs in Kent. Thank you for making my Birthday Special x

We went for my daughter’s birthday dinner. Myself and my husband had the 2 steaks and bottle of wine for £60. The other guests had different. My steak was so tuff and grisly I couldn’t eat it. I complained and I was given another meal, which was slightly better, but everyone had finished there’s by then. The wine was terrible, not worth the price. I would not recommend the steak meal! They didn’t even have sweetener for my husbands coffee! On the other side , the rest of the party enjoyed there food, so ok for some but we wouldn’t return.

Had a very enjoyable lunch last Sunday. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was well cooked and seasoned. Yorkshire puddings were really excellent. Venue has large parking space and level pathways to interior. [If you have mobility issues use the left hand side carpark at the end of the drive] In all excellent value.

Had food on Easter Monday! Great food and very staff. Four adults and two children with mains and puddings our bill was £120.

I had a great time at Raja of Kent with my friends. The food was really tasty, and the place had a nice, relaxed vibe. What made it extra special was our waiter. He was so friendly and helpful, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. He made us feel really welcome and looked after us so well. We had a lovely evening and will definitely come back

The food here is terrible, the chips were clearly leftover from lunch and reheated. The fish batter was soggy and tatsed horribly. The only thing that was okay was the mozerlla sticks. It was a complete waste of money, as most of it got thrown away.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was modern, spotless and comfortable. It was also quiet, so we got a good night's sleep. We had dinner in the pub, which was great, and breakfast was fantastic - we're vegetarian and were really pleased with the choices. The building is beautiful and staff were happy to share its history. Would definitely recommend.

Met up with family here today. The four of us had a lovely lunch with pleasant and efficient service. The pub was quiet which meant we had a choice of table. The place had been freshened up and was clean and spacious. We had a table by the window which was private and uncluttered. The menu was a good one with a range of dishes supplemented with a pie menu and a pizza menu too. My husband had ham, egg and chips which was generous and well cooked. Our companions both had different pies served with mustard mash, cabbage and gravy. I had an Alsace pizza and side sald both of which were delicious. Having been to The Bull over the last 6 or 7 years we have had varying experiences. This was definitely one of the better ones with good food and service. We wish the new owners well in making this venture a success. They are certainly breathing new life into the place

Please I implore you, do not spend your money at this pub. The landlord is rude and insufferable, ignorant to an astounding degree and absolutely without grace or class.
