Del's Fish Bar in Ashford

Had a home delivery from Just Eat. Very speedy and courteous driver. Fish was hot and delicious in a separate box. A nice touch of a lemon wedge and a pot of tartare sauce. Chips were a huge portion. Small served both of us!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Although Dels is better than the others in Tenterden it does not have much to beat. The fish is always cooked nicely with a thin crunchy batter, The chips have been soggy and not very appetising.

Dels fish bar has been renamed and is now called TN30 Fish & Chips. We had a family visit so, as it was a hot sunny day, decided to have takeaway fish & chips and enjoy a meal together in our garden. Cod Chips and a Saveloy The fish was good but some of the batter was not fully cooked but the chips were horrible, as though they had been reheated. The Saveloy was literally stone cold.

better than the chipPy in town (station road) if smaller selection; fish good and fresh.. usually a queue, which is a good sign.

Great fish and chips, MASSIVE portions, great kids meal deals too. Just remember they are cash only! The guys serving are always friendly and helpful, even humouring me when I ask to put on my own salt and vinegar

Go in here because we enjoy the food, however this evening the staff just ignored us. We had moved towards the counter in order to be served but the staff just didn't acknowledge us and continued to serve people who came in after us. We walked out. Will be using St. Michael's up the road from now on.

Del's is a very clean chippie and the food is freshly cooked and generous servings and exceptional service. Its only a chippie but its a tough call deciding between the two chippies in St Michaels - bth family run, bith to high standards. This one has very easy parking, too. But the food is high quallty.

There is a good variety of well cooked food including Pizzas which seem to be hard to find in the area

Had a takeaway a few times from here and most of the time I have large cod and chips. Each time the chips have been crispy and not the soft pale mush you often get from many chip shops. The batter on the cod was great and again light and crispy. The fish was generous and I'd say the best in the local area short of driving all the way to the coast. I'll definitely be going back

I am very impressed with the standard of food produced at Del's fish bar. I usually order Cod & Chips as this is the best place in Tenterden for cod, it is also a reasonable price. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly so it makes the service better. Overall, I was impressed by the service and the quality of the food :)

Freshly cooked to order tasty fish and chips served with a smile. Parking immediately outside. What's not to like?

Foods was disgusting & binned. Fish was under cooked and chips were over cooked. I don't know what oil is used but the food tasted terrible. Staff are very rude.

Impeccable clean, can tell a lot of time is spent maintaining the cleanliness of the shop. Food all cooked to order and didn’t disappoint. Would highly recommend.

We used this chippy last night for the 1st time under Del's ownership. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and food cooked to order excelllent, BUT, by the time we got home, the grease had come through two layers of wrapping and the bag they were put in, this needs to be addressed. Otherwise super food and very fleshy fish. YUM

I like it here - it's handy on the odd occasion we fancy a chippy for tea. The only thing that's let's them down is there are no steak (only) pukka pies or beef and mince. They don't do gravy either! Boooooo! We've decided this is the best place for chips in tenterden!

Passing through Tenterden today, I stopped for lunch, I've got to say this is the best fish n chips I've had in a long time, both cooked perfectly and the shop itself was immaculately clean, and the service very friendly, I will be back.

I had good old fish and chips from here earlier this week. While the meal was OK, I have had better. The chips were a little pale.

Good value for money best chips in town, always top quality service , high quality food and low waiting times

Las últimas que hemos tenido en el camino de vuelta (sólo paramos en este, ya que estaba en el camino a casa) han sido satisfactorios.

Visited Del's after driving past and turning around. Was a good decision. Sausage and chips twice eaten out of the paper. Yummy. Will be back!

Gran personal e incluso mejor pescado y patatas fritas! Ellos hicieron todo lo posible para satisfacer a mi esposa vegetariana e incluso encontramos después a verter salía con el cambio. Hemos encontrado la gente en esta área increíble y no puedo esperar a vivir aquí. Gracias Dell y equipo.

El pescado es muy bien cocinados y las patatas fritas son excelentes. Los dueños obviamente han gastado mucho dinero en el más moderno equipamiento y esto se refleja en la apariencia y la higiene.El personal es amable y el lugar siempre está lleno, que debe decir algo. Ahora abierto todo el día del sábado y domingos durante el verano, una muy buena idea para pasar a los clientes que viajen a desde la costa.
