Dreadful, expensive experience. Over £10 for pie, chips and peas. Pie was flat with little filling, overcooked and hard pastry, chips luke warm and obviously been there a while.... straight in the bin

Hope you like you food served with a good dollop of pigeon poo ! Currently an infestation of flying rats in the food hall and has been for months ! And all doing what pigeons do ! On the floor , on the tables and on You ! . Retailers don't seem too bothered about the health hazard and neither does the management of the outlet . Had the longest wait for the tinyest size chips I've ever been served . One step up from batter bits ! Never again .

Very average, apart from the expensive price. I haven't had Ramsden fish and chips for years and now I remember why. Subway next door. Foodcourt is clean, but kinda soulless.

Visted earlier today and the service slow as I've ever had, the lady serving was moving with the speed of a snail and huffing and puffing like it was a bother to even take our order, completely dismissive and abrupt! Had to wait for our food to be cooked which was worth it as it was cooked to perfection, just a shame about the service before hand

The worst chips I have ever tried to eat. Cold, stale and disgusting. Annoyed with myself now for failing to return them and demand a refund.

Visited this morning and the food and service was top notch! Had the fish special which was cooked fresh by the chef paul and was informed by colin there’d be a couple minutes wait for the food to be prepared, which was totally worth it as the food was delicious! Had a delightful chat with the servers colin and oliver while waiting for my food, overall was a great visit!

Stopped by Harry Ramsden in Mansfield for a spot of lunch while visiting my son for New Year and have to say the food was excellent, service was great & staff were very friendly & professional. Highly Recommend 5*

This place needs a defibrillator - the chap in front of me almost collapsed when he realised he was being charged £17 for takeaway fish and chips. This really is motorway services pricing. Having said that everything seems cooked to order, and the portions are huge. I think the two fishcakes option with chips and curry sauce was around £11 - not bad at all when you consider the freshness, quality and it fed two people. It's located in a 'food court', along with Five Guys, Chopstix, Subway and Burger King. No defibrillator though.

Was served by Paul who couldn’t have been friendlier. Rare that staff anywhere would engage in conversation but he made an effort. He’s a credit to your company. Atmosphere not great but not marked down because it’s inside a busy food court and can hardly blame Harry Ramsden’s.

the man is very ignorant, told me the only fish they had was a cross between haddock and cod. Never had something so bad in my life. Come here all the time. Won’t be coming again.

I’ve had a great experience every time I’ve come here. The foods always cooked fresh, quick service and lovely friendly staff!

I went today bank holiday and arrived around 1.45pm, I asked for a managers special only for the staff member to say it was sold out. Why advertise on the menu board and in busy periods things that aren’t on the menu?!! The person before me asked for the managers special and he received his. Looks like if your face fits they will bend over backwards to help you, and if your face doesn’t they don’t care or make effort.

Staff were not bothered looked unhappy and chips were horrible and the saussage too, were dry and mushed up. Wouldn't recommend and says best chips, who tasted them and said that Mr bean? Not worth the money was expensive aswell.

Nipped in today and must say after working in retail myself we could tell the two guys were rushed off their feet and understaffed, having said that the customer service we received from Colin who served us was exceptional and the food cooked by Paul (although be it too expensive!) was very tasty and cooked well. We would most certainly like to return however the company really does need to think about their staffing levels and prices.

Went yesterday and encountered an abrasive little brat called madisson who was very argumentative with me over how poor the chip quality was. I had ordered a portion of chips and was given a tray with half full bad and black chips, when I took them back to the store to complain about this she started arguing with me about there wasn't half a tray full and that I've ate most of them so what's the problem, and proceeded to call me a liar when I said there was half a tray full of bad one. Completely unacceptable. It wasn't until another gentlemen came on the counter, don'tknow whether he was Paul or Colin but they explained to me how the potato situation at the moment and apologised about my order and offered a complete refund no questions ask. They were so professional and apologetic and a total 5,stars! Just a shame about the other brat! I certain won't be returning if that's how she treats customers with valid complaints!

Bought a regular fish and chips and a can of tango for £13. The staff were lovely but the quality of the food was disappointing The fish was fresh but the chips were obviously old, dry and hard to swallow! And where was the flavour Harry Ramadan's was famous for? Bland, definitely hadn't been cooked in beef dripping. Won't buy again.

Popped in yesterday for lunch and the whole experience was so good, I was served by a man called Colin who was so helpful and explained the menu to me and offered different side options. The food itself was beyond tasty, only downside was the price was a little steep but that can't be helped I suppose!

My order was taken very quickly by Colin who politely explained there may be a short wait while my order was freshly cooked. While I waited I noticed the 3 staff (Colin, Rachel and Paul) were working very well as a team to ensure customers were getting an efficient service. Rachel served my order including hot drinks with a smile and genuine "Enjoy your meal". My food was excellent - hot, fresh tasting which I enjoyed immensely. Credit to Paul who was the cook on duty. I can fully recommend the quality of the food and service from this Harry Ramsdens at East Midlands Designer Outlet.

I visited the store before doing a bit of shopping, and I was extremely impressed! The food was cooked to perfection, fast and efficient by someone called Nick. I will definitely be visiting again next time on my shop.

I was a bit sceptical due to the inflated prices of this ‘chip shop’ but must the say I was made to feel welcome by the pleasant, polite and attentive staff and the quality of the meal made it so worthwhile. I travel the length and breadth of the country and will have to go a long way to experience better. Thank you

The fish and chips were barely warm, for the price paid we expected hot food it wasn’t a pleasant experience, the food was ordered for a 5.30 delivery it arrived at 6.15 with this service we would class as poor we would not order from here again!!!!

All of the chips were “green” tasting and not very nice and over done. Coke was watery and dilute. Gravy and sausage was nice though

First time order as usual chippy wad closed. Arrived quickly but cold. Very poor quality of fish, had bones in it. Won't order again.

Came tonight and must say the food was amazing… oh wait, I wouldn’t know because the place appeared to be closed, the blonde lady was busy cashing up, couldn’t read the menu as they were turned off as well, had to settle for having a subway instead, who informed me the food court was still open for another half hour+, so god knows why Harry’s is closing early, it’s almost like they don’t want to serve, complete joke!! Maybe next time I’ll come two hours before the proper closing time, I might be able to get some food that way!

tried a few of these franchise Harry Ramsden's, and to be honest quite disappointed in them, they couldn't hold a candle to the original harrys Ramsden's in Guiseley, and I find it quite strange that there's not a single Ramsden's restaurant in the whole county of Yorkshire where the original world famous restaurant was.

£18 for Fish and chips, when they charge £8 at the one in Selly Oak, plus they charge you extra for a tiny sachet of ketchup. Food was very dry. Wouldn’t go there again.

Food good quality but we found it very expensive, also no tray to put your meal and drinks on to carry it back to your table. No service really, you have to clear up after yourselves after eating. Would get a better deal in a nice pub restaurant for the money paid. Would not use the food court for lunch again.

Great service, however food wasn’t up to usual standard’s. Chips tasted old and like they had been reheated rather than fresh. Fish cake and fish bites were nice, however fish bites had bones in them. I don’t think this is great to say it’s on a children’s menu. For the price I’m really disappointed. Don’t think I will go there again. Only good thing really was the lady who served us.
