The best restaurants in Arun South East

Our favourite coffee place. Great quality coffee, lots of options. It’s also a great place to hang out, myself and my partner normally have a coffee in the cube outside, then have a 2nd drink inside. We can spend a good couple of hours here sometimes, chilling and chatting. My only wish is that they had at least one food item on the menu that is both dairy and gluten free as I’m intolerant to both.

I came here with my family for sunday lunch, as a coeliac I'm very careful with what i eat while out but the service counters in their restaurant were very good. The staf member Paul was very prompt with the alergen folder and went through the options, while Amy who prepared my meal was very careful and professional. The food was filling and good value for money. 5/5 would come back again.

We took advantage of a £10 off lunch. The food was superb, service excellent and a wonderful atmosphere. We eat our regularly so it was a delight to experience flavours that were really different.

An hour an a half wait for two meals - a lacklustre Steak and a Liver & Bacon where the Liver was still bleeding. Liver sent back, reappeared ten minutes later as overcooked mush. This is basics, they can't even get that right. To be fair they offered some free drinks as compensation, but quite frankly there are far better establishments in the area. We left and won't be returning.

Give the Vine a miss. If you do visit make sure you wear warm clothing. You will need it. Total lack of heating at all. Somedays it is warmer outside than inside. London drink prices. IE, Can of Coke £2.40. Crisps £1.40 ETC No food, contrary to the Vines advert. Live music ?????? Never seen it.

Me, my partner and son came for breakfast and it was the best breakfast we have ever had! It was so fresh and delicious. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly especially the chef Jo who came out to see how our food was and that is always a good sign of a well run business. We will definitely be visiting again very soon

Great location and the service was good. The bed was also comfortable. Unfortunately, that’s the end of the positives. The room, although quite clean, was very tired and dated. Cracks and marks on the walls. An old mish mash of furniture. They really do need to update and refresh the rooms. The breakfast was absolutely dreadful. It was the most pitiful spread I’ve seen. For an £80 mid week stay I was very disappointed. Realistically a stay here is worth no more than £60. I really wish I’d have stayed somewhere else.

We have used this place for pizza delivery for a while and they have always been very good. The chips I agree with other recent comments have been limp and far from crisp. Our usual delivery has been about £15 but unexpectedly this was hiked up to over £20 with our recent order - that is over 25% as an increase. When challenged we got "we have recently increased our prices...." The "delivery charge" went from £1 as advertised to £2.50 which they attempted to charge this week. We rejected the order. Blatant profiteering - more expensive than Dominoes? Really? Sad really as the pizzas are good - the rest however just isn't worth the current price by a country mile. We will not be using them again.

Delicious food and very friendly service.

I'm very disappointed. The takeaway has a 4.5 rating, so we were expecting good quality. However, the fish was horrible. We ordered Haddock, which I.woykd have expected to be fresh, moist, and flaky. It was very dry and a solid mass. It had clearly been frozen and definitely wasn't fresh. The worst fish we had ever had from a takeaway.

Went today for a couple of coffees, after waiting 5 minutes some young guy who had been folding napkins eventually wandered over looking most disinterested. I asked for 2 coffees and he said ' can't do hot drinks '. No apology or reason why. Needless to say with 2 other places nearby, West Park and The Waverley, where you feel welcome will not be coming back here.

My bowl of soup was half empty. The cheese and ham toasty was missing half the expected filling. However, the genuine rip-off was the rather expensive festive mince pies; they were completely inedible; masses of powdery pastry and minimal filling. Sadly most of the two pies remained on the plate slumped into a crumbed mess. We will not make the same mistake by visiting again.

Found this little gem not far from Church farm holiday park. Food was beautiful, big portions. Just delicious. Would 100% recommend

I rated 2 stars as the service was just around what you expect, food was less then average (not bad but not the best indian). Keep working and I'm sure it'll lead to a better future.
