We have used this place for pizza delivery for a while and they have always been very good. The chips I agree with other recent comments have been limp and far from crisp. Our usual delivery has been about £15 but unexpectedly this was hiked up to over £20 with our recent order - that is over 25% as an increase. When challenged we got "we have recently increased our prices...." The "delivery charge" went from £1 as advertised to £2.50 which they attempted to charge this week. We rejected the order. Blatant profiteering - more expensive than Dominoes? Really? Sad really as the pizzas are good - the rest however just isn't worth the current price by a country mile. We will not be using them again.

I ordered the large fish and chips - honestly, it was delicious , cooked to order, fresh and enough to feed two!

Placed an order as have done before, delivery never arrived. Over an hour after the order, we were emailed shortly after to say the order was on its way. Called phone the number provided and they guy who answered seems to careless, and just mumbles to us and then says its on its way. We live 15 min walk from to shop, so 20 mins later still no order. I call BS. Its been nearly 2 hours by that point. All orders are delivered by car so should be quick. Can safely say we will never use them again,

Had read the reviews and seemed good. Brought fish and chips for 2 - terrible The batter on the dish was soggy and tasted awful, the chips were anaemic and limp... really revolting. Very sad and disappointed.

The fish and chips were fine, but the experience was marred by the establishment being cash only. This was not apparent until it was time to pay. Had to walk to a Tesco Express to get cash from a machine. This is surprising considering the Covid crisis and a lot of establishments taking cards only. Also, there were couple of customers in front of me who were not wearing a mask.

The food was not edible - rang as told by just-eat to be told I cannot have a refund and should have rang right away. Tried the number and could not get through

Ordered through just eat and the order arrived early. Not the worst thing in the world but we weren't ready to eat.Kids meal was okay. Curry sauce was tasty. I ordered a medium cod and chips and I've honestly never been so disgusted. The batter was so soggy it peeled off the fish when taken out of the paper. Fish was an off colour as well as being tasteless and limp. I wouldn't order from here again.

We though we would stop here for some fish and chips on the way home from a family day at the seaside. As it did not look very busy. Big mistake. Two people in frount of us and it took just over half an hour to get our food. Kids portions far too big. Good point. Food was tasty and well cooked. Would of been nice to have food served in paper tray/box as it was a bit messy and grease went straight through the paper. Tramps came in. no masks leaning over the food. Other customers were waiting outside. The owners did not ask them to wear a mask or wait outside. Not great in these difficult times.

Have all the new tools etc but really need to learn how to cook even the simplest of things like ile pies. Quality was very poor and food was luke warm. Will not be coming back.

Since changing hands the overall offering has gone downhill. Supply lines have obviously changed and quality now poor and standard of cooking substandard. Will not use again

Small cod tail of cod only, cod bites batter only i think this covers all not worth the visit will not buy from there again

Been going here for few years, Found out the couple that run it have left.Tried the news guys anyway - Wish I didn't. Chips were undercooked and a large portion was very small. Smallest bits of Huss I have ever had and didn't even taste very nice!Won't be returning - Bottom find a new Chippy :(

Established owners who won the awards and consistently produced good quality food have now retired. New owners are pleasant but cod now has skin on and is a smaller cheaper cut. Batter not as good and chips pretty ordinary. Have recommended this place for nearly 20 years, not now. Previous comment about former owner being rude is not the experience I and many hundreds of others, including all those charities he helped, had but each to their own. Was the best chip shop in the area in my view with honest and friendly service. New owners need to change their offer or will struggle.

See the rude and arrogant man in linden fisheries has gone. Hope it will be better there now. Would not use it before

lovely bloke who works in this fish and chip shop large cod was enormous and large chips were enough for two a good old fashioned chippy

If I want a fish supper or anything with chips this is the chip pie that I will always go to in Bognor. I’ve tried the others, but this is definitely the best. Fish cooked to order so it’s hot and crispy. Delicious freshly cooked chips crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. A friendly welcome, good conversation and excellent value for money.

I am a big fish fan and Linden Fisheries just sold me the best fish I have ever had. The huss was so fresh. Absolutely fantastic. Tom looked after us so well and we had a fantastic fish supper. Thanks!! (We are coming back tonight!!)

We don’t live anywhere near this fish and chip shop but always make a visit there when we’re nearby. Our children were treated to a small packet of chips whilst the rest of our order was being cooked. It was busy when we visited and it was clear that they have a lot or regular customers.If you’re looking for good value, massive portions and lovely food you won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back again soon!

I love this shop because they regularly have skate on the menu. They cook fresh to order so happy to wait for perfectly cooked fish and chips. Very friendly owner

Had a saveloy & chips for my tea. Not bad,chips especially nice. The guy serving seemed more interested in talking to someone he knew behind me but other than that the service was good.

If you are going to Bognor Regis you must try Linden Fisheries. Best fish and chips bar far. We had the medium portion is was enough for two people.

Fish and chips to eat inside. The food is very good and hot. So hot tea and bread with mushy peas what else does anyone want. Staff are friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable. It might be small but it's good.

We had a plentiful Large portion of chips and delicious Cod. All the items were delicious and perfectly cooked. The Chips here are always a winner and the batter on the Cod is so crispy and fresh. All freshly cooked in front of you. Traditional fish and Chips done to perfection.

We have been coming to this shop for a while now. The welcome is friendly and the food is the best around. Competitive prices as well.

Went into Linden Road Fisheries today, the food is amazing good quality good size meals , friendly staff always happy to serve definitely would recommend them to anyone in Bognor and I would say everyone advoid Victorias as you get served uncooked food x

This place cooks the best quality fish and chips! Real Fat LARGE cod! Cooked fresh to order!! You will not be disappointed. Worth a visit.

Seemed to be either reheated or could do with being fresher. A seaside chip shop is usually a good bet, but there are better Choices in walking distance from here.

We had a plentiful Large portion of chips, steak and Kidney pie and a fish cake. All the items were delicious and perfectly cooked. The Chips here are always a winner.

As if the chips and battered goods such as pea fritter, sausages and potato cakes weren’t enough - Toms service and prices make this a 5 star chippy on Chipadvisor. Can’t go wrong!

Always phone an order of fish,chips and mushy peas every Friday,which is freshly cooked and ready for me to pick up 15 minutes later.The large delicious pieces of cod are seved by a friendly husband and wife team at a very competetive price. Well recommended!

Everything is freshly cooked to order so nothing is re-fried or re-heated. Friendly staff who know all the regulars. Really good chippy.

Visited here for the first time on a day trip from London. Really friendly couple, after a few minutes of chatting you felt like you were regulars. Fish and chips was amazing- all freshly cooked. Cod was really chunky with batter just how it should be and chips to die for! Lovely size portions, very reasonable. Will be back on our next visit.

This is seriously the best fish and chips I have ever had. Enormous portions; my piece of fish looked like it could be part-whale! Really lovely couple behind the counter, cooking everything from fresh. Chips given to the kids to keep them busy whilst it was all cooking. He even gave us some vinegar as we weren't sure we had any. Can't rate them highly enough.

Excellent fish and chips. Certainly a cut above the rest. Very child friendly. Kids given a small bag of chips to 'keep them' going whilst our order was freshly cooked.

3 of us had fish & chips and my daughter had saveloy and chips from here. The fish was delicious with the perfect crispy batter and the chips are delicious, my daughter really enjoyed her saveloy and chips. The portions of chips are very generous but so tasty. Proper traditional Fish and Chips

Arrived Friday evening, warmly welcomed. Tom asked if we were hungry, (2 adults plus 3 kids) of course the answer was yes so he gave us some chips to munch whilst we waited. They showed us our pieces of large fish before they cooked them. We shared two large bits of fish between four of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers), and two large chips between the five of us. There was plenty, and it only cost about £15 altogether. Lovely food, nice crispy batter, great tasting fish. Not greasy.

We both enjoyed are fish and chips tonight this fish bar never disappoints always great we had a huss and haddock with chips both very large and as important the best quality. The guy who owns the place is always great and always very helpful and polite which in this day is a nice change.go hear once and you will not go anywhere else bognor maybe a sea side town but as for any decent fish and chip bars

Myself my wife and my daughter all had Cod & chips from here. The fish was lovely and soft with a crispy batter. The Chips are bid portions and delicious. Proper fish & chips

Amazing cod and scampi, the owner is so accommodating and gave us taster chips while we waited. :) we were down for my boyfriends cricket match and thoroughly enjoyed the massive pieces of cod we got given!!!!

My wife, my 2 daughters and I had cod and chips!! Lovely crispy batter, cod cooked to perfection and fantastic chip shop chips!!! Highly recommended and worth the short walk from the beach!!! The owners are very friendly people too! Will come again! Enjoy!!!

We dont often eat fish and chips but when we do it has to come from here..Absolutely fabulous! Their large piece of cod is enormous!! Especially love that the fish is boned and skinned before its battered.

In my opinion the best fish and chip shop for miles! The batter is light and crunchy , fish is fresh, chips cooked to perfection. Great selection for adults and kids menu all great value! Bright, cheerful staff who always offer a warm welcome. Wouldn't chose anywhere else but here!!

I'm a fussy foodie from Birmingham who can't wait to return to Bognor for the best fish & chips I've had in a long long time! Wonderfully fresh cod in a light, crisp batter (not at all greasy) with tasty traditional chip shop chunky chips, we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious lunch which was cooked to order.With generous portions (I have a serious appetite but the chips beat me as did the last bit of batter which I reluctantly left as I didn't have the room!), reasonable prices & the friendliest owners, you'd be hard pressed to find better quality or value.Last year we was beyond disappointed when we opted for fish & chips on the sea front: limp chips & poor quality frozen fish far from hit the spot. Last Saturday we walked down a side street & stumbled upon The Linden opposite Bognors pretty rail station where our fish feast was the total opposite & my friend & I will definitely be back! We were even treated to a deep fried Mars Bar...thanks Tom!

Since moving to a Bognor I was lucky enough to find myself two minute walk from Tony's fish and chip shop. He greets everyone with a smile and seems to know absolutely everyone personally. The fish is cooked to order, reduced prices of seniors and children and you can take it away or eat at a small table inside and enjoy discussing, life, the universe and everything with him. Portions (especially the fish) are huge, and the chips are home made, as they should be.It's almost next door to the Picturdrome cinema which is a bonus for most cinema goers. It is for me!.Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Large cod and chips, and by large I mean large. Delicious fresh fish, crispy batter, tasty chips. Nice friendly local near the Picturedrome cinema (also worth a visit).Although obviously geared to take away there is one table....grab it if can.

We were staying nearby at Pagham and looking forward to some good fish and chips on Friday night but many of the fish and chip shops had variable reviews. This place seemed to be the best so we put the postcode into the satnav, without which we wouldn't have found it. And, being entirely honest, would probably have driven on had we not read the reviews. It doesn't look very inviting and it's not in a great area but, trust me, it's worth stopping! We both had plaice, which was freshly cooked, large chips and mushy peas. It was a bit pricey compared to home but everything seems more expensive on the south coast around here. Service was definitely with a smile and a friendly chat. We drove 20 minutes home but the fish was still very hot and all of it tasted very good. A large portion of chips was more than enough for the two of us. If and when we are back in the area we will definitely revisit!

A warm haven from the breezy day outside. The man behind the counter was very chatty and helpful with our order, tried to talk us out of two large portions of chips (between 3) but we said how hungry were. The portions were well worth the money and nothing was soggy all cooked fresh.Very friendly service, big portions and very tasty fish, chips and battered sausages.

This fish and chip shop is the best I have come across in Bognor. It is a real treat on Friday for my wife and I to have a large cod each and share a "small" (don't believe it!) portion of chips. All this comes to just £11.70 - £10 for the two large cods and £1.70 for the small chips (how anyone could eat a large portion?!) Manager Tom told me to phone next time so that I don't have to wait but to me it was great to see it cooked before my eyes and served up in the traditional paper. Superb!

Just had large cod and chips after reading reviews on here. Nice portion new potatoes at moment i think they make cracking chips, but sone people dont like them. So cod chips mushy peas tin coke £8.50Bobs your uncle fannys your aunt job done !

Simply delicious. He even threw on extra napkins and plastic cutlery so we could eat on the beach. Fish tasted very nice, as was fresh and battered and cooked in front of you. Nice guy.Next time I will ask for extra salt and vinegar

I've had the cod, haddock and skate from here, all three cooked to order and delicious. Chips good too and huge portions. Really would recommend, worth the 8 min walk from the seafront, and always so piping hot, if you want to eat on the beach they are still too hot to handle by the time you get back. There has been a marked change in quality at this local chippy... the chips aren't quite the same, and I happen to know why as I know a local potato merchant who said they've changed supplier. Funny how even in a humble spud you can tell the difference, and when they go for the cheap option it shows... what a shame.

Lovely light batter, fresh oil, cooked to order. good size portions. Consistently good fish and chips being served. Plenty of choice, and pensioner menus for a reduced price also on offer. Great fish and chips, he will also deliver.

We had a very friendly greeting and excellent service. The fish and chips were amazing. We would definitely recommend here. The gentleman working there is very friendly and courteous. My son is VERY fussy and he ate his chips and nuggets, which he loved. THANK YOU :)
