Brilliant find. It's like a diner inside with an Elvis theme going on. Great choice of fry ups and smoked salmon and eggs type breakfasts. Decent pricing and great service. Got to say, I didn't rate the flat white incredibly highly, but could have been just mine. If you are in Findon, check it out, it's fab.

Long Furlong Barns hosted our Son and Daughter-in-laws wedding in September 2023 and what a fabulous occasion it was. Nothing was too much trouble, from an early start to the day to the end of the evening there was always someone around to assist and make sure things were running smoothly. The venue, bridal suite and Groomsman’s suite were perfect, all exceptionally clean and beautifully set out. NO noticeable noise from the main road. Perfect venue and highly recommended.

Always a friendly welcome. The seafood sharing platter was amazing, well presented, and delicious. Having a mini break staying in the village. My four-legged companion with a waggly tail is a regular there and gained attention from staff & customers alike.

Left it to the last minute for sunday lunch then remembered this pub, had one cancellation so managed to fit two of us in. Staff really welcoming, the atmosphere was lovely like stepping back in time in this beautiful old pub , had a table in the restaurant, one roast beef & one pork belly which we couldnt fault, a lovely selection of vegetables, followed by two Apple crumbles & custard complements to the chef. We will definatly be back soon. Thankyou.

I organise a monthly Curry Club at Tajdar for locals in the village and we generally have 25 to 30 people attending. We always receive fantastic food served by the very attentive and considerate staff. We choose our food individually from the a la carte menu, so this imposes a huge workload on the kitchen team but they manage to cope with the food preparation without any undue delay. The chief Chef usually says 'hello' at the end of the meal and is always greeted with a round of applause for his considerable efforts.

Give the Vine a miss. If you do visit make sure you wear warm clothing. You will need it. Total lack of heating at all. Somedays it is warmer outside than inside. London drink prices. IE, Can of Coke £2.40. Crisps £1.40 ETC No food, contrary to the Vines advert. Live music ?????? Never seen it.

My wife and I had a three course meal in the bar and the food, service and staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend a visit

Went at 5pm on a Sunday, Sunday menu consisted mainly of roasts only to find out after we'd been seated that they had no roast dinners left, which only left a hand full of dishes and we found out they didn't have 2 of these either and things also missing from children's menu! Service was awful, had to ask several times to order etc Food was very bland, tasteless and elements were cold. I ended up having 2 side dishes as all options I wanted weren't available. One of the sides I chose was cauliflower cheese and the cauliflower was raw. Very disappointed. Bill was very expensive for what we had which frankly wasn't worth the money at all. Won't be coming back again.

Very disappointed particularly when I asked after a stock item and again was given no indication that they were never going to order it. My £25.00 birthday gift voucher from my great grandchildren is lost!
