Long Furlong Barns hosted our Son and Daughter-in-laws wedding in September 2023 and what a fabulous occasion it was. Nothing was too much trouble, from an early start to the day to the end of the evening there was always someone around to assist and make sure things were running smoothly. The venue, bridal suite and Groomsman’s suite were perfect, all exceptionally clean and beautifully set out. NO noticeable noise from the main road. Perfect venue and highly recommended.

What a beautiful location in the South Downs. I had the honour of organising a celebration of life for a very close family member. From start to finish what was an emotional time was made much easier by the team at the venue. The communication was very good, the same person always answered the phone and they were very quick on email. We will definitely work with them again.

Booked for a viewing, which we have had booked for since the day after getting engaged, no one turned up. I’ve been driving past this venue for years and dreamt of getting married here thanks to the beautiful scenery and it being a close drive from the church I want to get married at but now I don’t know how I could trust them to turn up and be efficient on the day when they can’t turn up for a viewing. Really disappointed and will look elsewhere.

Had a tour of the venue, was a great looking place but BE WARNED! Do not get excited about the possibility of a wedding here as you are tied to one caterer. We wanted just a simple catering solution of a grab and go style meal (Fish and chips). We were promised the caterers were flexible and could provide. Indeed they could...... For the set price of £53 a head. They would not budge. If like me you love a good fish and chips from the local, you could assume a reasonable increase in price from your local £5, but £53? WOW!!! Therefore lovely looking venue, but you would need a second mortgage and maybe a Bank of England sized loan for a simple cod and chips. We then looked at other options Circa provided, but all I got was "whatever you want, it will be £53 a head" So... be warned!!

Shared such a special day here in August, celebrating a family wedding. This tasteful barn conversion is certainly a ‘ hidden gem’ but no problem to find, located en route on the A281 & A24, heading south from Horsham. Set in the beautiful South Downs & surrounded by fields of golden grain, what better back drop could you wish for to those important wedding photos to treasure. Had the weather been kinder, wedding guests could have enjoyed the outdoors in sunshine as there was provision for outdoor seating. Undeterred by the wind & rain we enjoyed a magic day & were well looked after by the friendly & helpful catering staff. Would recommend Long Furlong for that special occasion !

Long Furlong Barn was the beautiful setting for a recent Wedding I attended. The Ceremony, meal & evening party all in one setting, were very well very professionally hosted by the management & staff. Set surrounded by West Sussex fields & the South Downs, the flint & brick beamed converted Barns made a perfect setting for the wedding. The food was delicious & we were not at all rushed. All wheelchair accessible with toilet facilities & plenty of parking made it a great venue for me to attend.

This was the setting to saying goodbye to a member of the family. Very accessible and easy to get around. The staff were very friendly and professional and made everything effortless. On a hot sunny day the setting was just perfect the Barn is set out just right and the buffet was by an outside company circa . With stunning views over the Sussex country side a sad day was just turned into a celebration of a life. Big thank you to all at the Barn for all your help and understanding.

In October 2018 our daughter & then future son-in-law decided to get married & came across Long Furlong Barn ‘what a find’ they got married Easter Sunday 21/04/2019 just 6 months after booking this venue. James Emma & Georgia were amazing! Their helpful suggestions & advice made the day every bit the fairytale ‘nothing’ was too much bother for the team and their inputs were fully instrumental in creating the most unforgettable day! I strongly recommend Long Furlong this idilic setting is just breathtaking Jenna & Luke decided to use venue without any extra fuss decor wise as the barn simply says it all, they happened to be extremely fortunate with the weather ‘but’ even if rain had fallen it would have only enhanced this beautiful venue, catering provided by Circa Events the food was beautiful drinks plentiful, for the afternoon we were able to provide our own drinks for only a small service charge Olivia helped with all the arrangements with Ben & his team providing the hard work & attention to detail throughout the celebrations ‘from’ day one all these guys were on point from the organising of menu to the the location & the views its all just a huge wow & deserves a huge thank you from us all 👏👏

Absolutely beautiful setting for a wedding. My son Craig and now daughter in law Rebecca got married on 25th August 2018 and held their reception at Long Furlong Barn . The food was amazing with no tables waiting for any length of time to be served their food. The staff were superb and could not do enough for you, extremely polite and efficient. Such a wonderful day in a fantastic venue. Thank you for making it such an amazing day.

My best friends had the most gorgeous wedding at Long Furlong Barn yesterday. I’ve been to many venues in Sussex but this is one I would highly recommend. A bridal room to get ready in on site and having everything in one place made it so easy to entertain guests and keep the focus to the one setting. The rooms are beautiful and has a really lovely outdoors, cosy feeling. The countryside photos look absolutely stunning. Staff at the venue were also on hand to assist with anything required and this helped to make the day run perfectly. Book an appointment ASAP!

I attended ling furlong barn today for a conference. On arrival everything looks really nice. On entry to main hall there is a ramp but still small step so not a totaly level access for wheelchairs or people with poor mobility. When I looked closer around the hall on the pillars that support the vaulted beams there were lots of cobwebs this hopefully was a one off . Missed bit of cleaning . In the gents the dividers between men's urinals they were very loose and felt thry could fall off at any moment. The acoustics for speakers was not the best. But Food was excellent the service was second to none. On catering only fault was wgen getting getting on arrival I said to the server the coffee was cold he said oh sorry and just continued to serve it instead of sorting it. Overall a lovely place just needs bit of attention to detail.

I attended a family wedding this weekend and obviously we had a fantastic day, it was made all the better by the staff working on the day. They were very friendly, polite, attentive ... nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely.. served well and hot. The evening bar again the girls were brilliant.. and later the bacon rolls were served with a smile. Thank you , you helped make an amazing day all the more memorable.

What a beautiful wedding venue. We had a fantastic day . The best ever wedding! Owners are extremely accommodating setting amazing for photos. You can arrange your own catering and music but they can also direct you to supplier/companies. Plenty of parking all three barns are lovely plenty of room. Well worth a,look.

This is a large barn which has been converted for use as a venue suitable for weddings, conferences and other large groups (there were 100+ in our party). It is situated in open countryside with wonderful views of the surrounding area and there is ample free parking. It is an ideal spot for photographs to be taken outside, weather permitting, and there is an open courtyard where drinks are served. The purpose of my visit was to attend a wedding and I have to say that the canapés served were absolutely delicious! One criticism I have is that there are precious few seats in this area so it is best to arrive at your function early in order to secure a seat if you are elderly or immobile. The restaurant area itself was very prettily decorated for our friend's wedding and the staff were very attentive. Our meal on this occasion was a 'help yourself' BBQ which would have been fine had the fire alarm not been activated by the smoke! I am assuming that the delay caused by this unforeseen event was what was responsible for the meat being overcooked and therefore almost inedible in the case of the lamb. As this venue already has a good reputation locally and has therefore presumably produced many previous barbecues, we were all somewhat surprised that it took the event manager so long to turn the alarm off - you would think it would have been easy to locate the necessary code/s and keys to end the wailing siren (which, although it did not exactly add to the ambience did, in fact, certainly make this a memorable wedding!) The dessert served was faultless but, sadly, the coffee was almost cold. Alongside the restaurant there is a rather lovely dance floor which was also very prettily decorated. There is a disabled loo and there are nappy changing facilities just off the restaurant, with ordinary toilet facilities adjacent - the washing area was bright and clean but the three toilets were messy with toilet paper all over the floor in all three cubicles, so this area would clearly benefit from being checked more frequently.
