Visité con mi novia y tuve las 2 por 1 hamburguesas un martes. La comida era increíble y el personal excelente. Recomendará el descuidado jalopy a cualquier amigo que esté de visita. Volveremos de nuevo.

Tuve la elegante hamburguesa de pollo aquí hace unos días (pollo empanado, aguacate y tocino) y estaba delicioso. También probé las papas fritas regulares y dulces, ambas eran súper moras. El personal fue rápido y amable. Definitivamente recomiendo:)

The Stane Street Syndicate está cerca de la estación de metro Clapham Common. El ambiente es bueno e incluso un martes estaba ocupado. Tienen muchos eventos diferentes, así que hay algo para todos. Fantistic burgers and great service! I had the posh pollo burger last night, which is crispy breaded chicken with avocado and bacon on a fluffy bun, and absolutely loved it. Super juicy and crispy and delicious. Staff here are brilliant, very friendly and fast service. I also got to try a variety of different chips, I loved the fries and the sweet potatoes, truly great comfort food! Can absolutely recommend this place.

I really enjoy this pub, its a good vibe and always has good beer on tap. Staff are always friendly and food was delicious

I wish Clapham would recognise what it is like to spend an evening in a bar like this. This was a pleasant experience. Yay! Friendly, calm,unimtimidating service. Just what Clapham needs..... as if they will listen!

Beer was off but they wouldn't replace it. After a 45 minute wait, food delivered to the table was not as ordered.

Poor bar staff who are inattentive and not up for serving you. The food was EXTORTIONATE and the servings so small as well as very soggy batter on fried chicken and a piece of chicken in the burger 🍔 that was 80% fat and gristle. Such a shame ☹️

Awful service. Rude bar staff. The bar staff don’t care aboout their customers. Threatened to get kicked out by a member of the bar staff because they spilt my drink and when I asked for a new one, I was rudely declined by the manager, even though it wasn’t my fault. Just quite a disappointment because their hospitality is very poor and I really expected better.

I came to this bar for the first time this week and will definitely be returning. Nipped in with my dog, I was offered a bowl of water and a dog treat as soon as I got to the bar. There's a great selection of gins and a separate gin cocktail menu! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the gin was delicious, the location is perfect being opposite Clapham Common station, and there's a photobooth too!!

I came here about a week ago and had the buy one get one free burger. It was delicious! Staff are also amazing and couldn't do enough to help me enjoy my night.

Huge place! I popped in to watch a bit of the recent world cup matches, and the screens are massive! Good selection of beers, with a knowledgeable group of bar tenders. It's been a while since I was last in, and they should definitely bring back the table tennis! And some more games, why not. Will be back again!

Had a great night in this place. Staff were all lovely and grub hit the spot. DJ (Streetie? Think that's his name. Has to made up) threw out a few golden oldies, had everyone dancing like Lunatics. Right next to clapham common tube stop made it easy to get home. I'll be back again for sure. Only issue is the name of the pub; tough to say after a few beers when trying to tell your mates where you are, but that's on me really.

The food isn't great, the atmosphere isn't great, but it is really big and usually empty so excellent for large groups.

We really enjoyed our Friday night there, cocktails reasonably priced, friendly staff (although the bar seemed really busy for a moment) and good music. Will come back!

Went on Wednesday 21st March and order some chili con carne nachos - I got a take away up with bad smashed avocado which did not have any meat just a lousy sauce. The two girls were not helpful at all and the shorter girl with long curly hair, when approached, was very rude and seemed upset about our confusion. Obviously refused to change the dish and wouldn’t give any explanation on how the different dishes were. She actually was annoyed that we disturbed here. Wouldn’t come here again and not surprised the place is always empty.

Came for a pint on a Wednesday afternoon... a couple were already waiting at the bar but it was otherwise quiet. Waited five minutes and no bartender arrived. So I went to the loo. Came back and the same couple were waiting at the bar, yet to be served. Another chap came in, we all stood there wondering if we'd ever get seen to, perhaps even if the place was actually open... the latter chap that came in after me went behind the bar and helped himself to a bottle of something from the fridge, then walked out. Proving a point I guess? I let a couple more minutes pass, gave up the ghost and left.

Exactly what we needed after one of the coldest exercise sessions I have ever had. Easy going atmosphere with big screens for sports - even being ok with me in my wellies. Good food and drink choice. Great all rounder.

Came here with a group to watch the Six Nations and all I can say is that they were not prepared! It's obviously a hugely busy time and yet there were only four people on the bar, with one bar not even open. As a result, it took 45mins standing, waiting and missing the match to order at the bar.

Great food great service. 2for 1 on Tuesdays is a great offer and had an awesome selection of music playing

Me sometió a una sustitución (aguacate en vez de setas) había solicitado debido a una comida intolerence. Yo la tarifa y el questionned fue inaugurado con el hasta £1 tarifa empujado por en mi mano entre haciendo sobre personal nuevo, sin embargo, no ofrecieron una disculpa. Mientras la comida, orderirng nos hicieron recoger una mesa para que llegara la comida, pero luego fue dado información contradictoria acerca de si la comida se llevaron a la mesa o si pasamos a recogerlo desde la barra de comida él esquina. Decidimos esperar cerca de la barra de alimentos, ya que no he podido escuchar la "campana" de la mesa de comida donde nos sentamos como el pub era ruidoso. Cuando pedí en el mostrador de comida salada, me presentó con 4 botellas de mayonaisse. Cuando me volvieron a pedir sal me presentó con dos botellas de ketchup. Intenté pedir por tercera vez, esta vez señalando el botellas de sal detrás de él y fue finalmente presentado con lo que había pedido. No parecía haber un problema con la persona en el mostrador de comida entender lo que había pedido. A él le parecía divididas y como él era de otro planeta. La comida es cara en 7 libras. 50 hacia arriba para una hamburguesa con patatas fritas básico cobra por cada £3 extra. El servicio es bastante desorganizado y grosero. No volveré aquí de nuevo.

El personal del bar eran geniales. . . Por otra parte tenían porteros muy grosero y provocando no modales. Agresivos. . No como un bouncer debería realizar él mismo. Están allí para mantener a la gente segura y mantener la paz no cree. Aparte de eso, el personal lugar bien eran geniales.

El personal del bar era muy antipático. Rudo y desconsiderado. Yo y mis amigos hemos estado aquí un par de veces y las dos veces nos han tratado tan irrespetuosamente. El personal del bar claramente no disfrutan trabajando aquí y parece que dan a los huéspedes el gesto que no se molestó en hacer su trabajo. No volveré, es una pena como el pub, en general, es un buen ambiente, pero el personal del bar una desagradable vibración! Muy poco profesional. La próxima vez, no me gusta mi bebida contra mí, preferiría que se la pasaron cortésmente.

El lugar tiene un buen ambiente. El personal del bar en el otro lado, muy muy desagradable! Nunca he encontrado el personal del bar eran bastante igual en mi vida! Son groseros, no servirá, comiendo papas fritas, dan sucio y hacer con parece otra detrás del bar! Como local he estado en este pub un par de veces, pero tuve una experiencia tan mala que no iremos de nuevo. Para ser sincero, la única razón por la que he venido aquí es porque es más cercano al cine. Después de la película fui con un amigo y pidió una bebida. En un segundo me pidiendo fue acusado por el personal del bar de ser 'drunk', que es ridículo becae me había dos horas vimos una película y sólo tenía una bebida en el bar. Cuando he estado antes allí ha sido siempre un cliente o dos en diversos estados de inebriation, e incluso una fuerte pelea entre borrachos, así que me sorprendió. Cuando le pregunté al barman su nombre él respondió "Kyle el director". Sólo puedo asumir que era identificado porque mi amigo y yo son mayores que el resto de la gente esa noche. Gran ambiente, un montón de gente interesante. Se convierte en un club de refrigerados como lugar por la noche. Las bebidas son un poco caras, especialmente con un presupuesto de estudiante.

Es grande, con muebles de estilo vintage y obras frescas. Tiene un menú de bebidas, cervezas, artesanías y trigo alemana y un menú de comida bastante extensa, incluyendo algunos (nuevo) opciones de comida vegetariana. El personal es eficiente y amable. Hay tenis de mesa y juegos, e incluso en la noche usted puede oír hablar más de la música tú mismo (fresco).

Lovely staff who had great knowledge of beers on offer. Quick service and bar snacks were very tasty and reasonably priced.

This bar was grimy and unprofessional, bought one drink then refused a second. When asked one bar staff had no educated response other than "you're intoxicated"... they had sold me one drink and could not offer any other reasoning... seemed fishy and incredibly unprofessional. Horrible unwelcoming atmosphere, AVOID!

Have had many a great night out here and definitely recommend it if that's what you're looking for. However the food is sub-par and probably not worth it.

Looks the business as you walk in plenty of space and seating to enjoy a beverage. However the music was so unbearably loud that chatting to your neebors becomes nigh on impossible. To their credit they have a fine selection of beers on tap but the prices are a little on the high side. Preferred it when it was O'Neills.

Craved a pudding after eating a meal in a nearby restaurant so stopped by for coffee and Chocolate Brownie, very lush, warm with ice cream and could have ate another! Pretty much empty at 2pm. Reasonable priced and bar staff were as you'd expect. All very reasonable! Saw a Tuesday burger deal so will come back very soon.

Ridiculously abusive female bouncer who slapped me while I was exiting the bar... If visiting the area stay well clear of this bar!!

Decent food but everything else is rubbish. Staff are rude, stupid decor and expensive beer. Also the place is so big and empty it gets windy inside.

We stop after visiting downtown London. Service okay, beer selection very limited and atmosphere okay ... So overall okay place. I'm we came find something better!

Went here to watch the Euro League Final. They had a great screen and great set up for this. Really great atmosphere with a very large floor space. The food was typical pub food but quite nice food. Recommend if your up for some pub food and a good atmosphere.

Went in because they advertised for the England - Slovakia match. It is a very spacious venue, with 6 TV's showing the match, and on top of that they also have their Mondays for retro gaming, they even had a sega dreamcast !!With a wide assortment of beers on darught this is a place I'll definitely will revisit

I went here at around midday on a Wednesday to meet an old friend for the first time for a year or so. I ordered a pint and a coffee and was told that they weren’t doing coffee. They had no cups due to a conference in the pub. We were advised that we could get a coffee at Starbucks next door. We didn’t and made do with the pint of Wherry (not bad) and a soft drink.We didn’t stay long as the place became very noisy and echo-y as more people began to arrive. We won’t go again.

We visited on a Friday night early evening through until around 11pm. It wasn't too busy. Good venue for a group to meet. Was great until dj started - not the right music for the crowd. We all ate food. It was cheap and cheerful food but not fantastic. Fine to go with a few beers if you are hungry but don't make it the focus of the night. Very greasy.

Seriously, this place is awesome. Great music, staff food and most importantly- beers! Super happy with my visit and will definitely be coming back!

It's not what you expect from central clapham common - a chilled out bar with loads of seats space, a ping pong table and good price beers. Definitely worth a visit.

Food was really good, Mac and Cheese was well seasoned and very cheesy, the fries came with three different dips and serving was very very generous (served at least 2 people). The place is really big and perfect for private parties!

Dimanche midi, levé 1h avant, flemme de cuisiner, dans un endroit typiquement Anglais c'est parfait pour avoir des oeufs, toasts, beans, bacon, ou encore de délicieuw pancakes avec de la crème et du sirop d'érable ! Rien à redire !

Sono stata a mangiare un hamburger in questo pub il cui gran vantaggio e' di essere enorme e avere un sacco di posti a sedere. Per il resto penso non siano consapevoli che sono attorniati da diversi posti dove si gustano ottimi hamburger per cui necessiterebbero di più attenzione a questo e non servire un hamburger con un pezzo di pollo fritto scuro e duro e un hamburger di carne asciutta perché proprio per questo motivo a me a pranzo non beccano più.

Good burgers, nice sides recommend the fried pickles. Little bit empty inside which means that you lose some atmosphere. Enjoyable experience, good food, sometimes music too loud for the venue but otherwise good place to chill out.

So after managing bars within M&B for many years I always appreciated it when customers told me when beer etc was not up to scratch. Apparently they don't follow the same philosophy at Stane St. My Peroni tasted bitter so I took it to the bar; the guy told me it was fine, treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about because I was a woman and when I said I would speak to the manager if it was easier he said he didn't know where she was and proceeded to stomp to the wastage sheet and give a big sigh like giving good customer service was such an effort.I then thought i'd speak to the manager and actually wished I didn't. When I apologised for causing offence in sending a pint back she didn't seem to care. I told her about her rude staff member and that I don't appreciate being spoken to like that and all she said was he was German and there is a language barrier and that she would speak to him. There were no apologies and no remorse; only a big load of defensiveness. Won't be going back there and I am totally shocked and appauled by the whole situation.

I've been twice and have enjoyed each occasion. The place is very relaxed and easy going with all ages visiting. Good range of beers on tap. I love the fact this place has air hockey and table tennis - great idea. Overall, very good as it caters for all and the staff were polite and helpful.

Really like stane street, went for a birthday on a Saturday, music was amazing and a great drinks range, staff were polite and service was fast. Great play to go have a boogie and a beer and it's free entry with good entertainment

Okay, I never liked the Irish theme pub that Stane St. Syndicate replaced but that meant I was really pleased to see such a modern makeover smack-bang in the middle of Clapham Common High Street. I have been checking it out over a few months with various different friends as well as my partner - my best friend walked in, had one drink and said we needed to go elsewhere. The initial problem is that there are only a few small windows at the front and they don't let enough light in; there has been no attempt to provide a witty lighting solution either va halogen spot beams or warm reading lights. That leads to the second problem which us the layout - there is a raised level with "funky" furniture by the small windows but the rest of this cavernous pub is just dingy and I can't honestly say how it's furnished as a) I didn't look and b) you only go further back for the toilets and there are no seating areas to catch your eye on the way.The staff are amiable enough (service is at the bar) but they seem to outnumber the clients - thus doesn't help build a very good atmosphere and I've felt uncomfortable laughing or speaking loudly. I think that the food and drink really fails here - the menu is diner-style with burgers, posh chicken in a basket and the ubiquitous all-day breakfast. I went with my partner on Saturday morning and ordered the £14.50 sharing breakfast served in a frying pan. I don't know where to start with the things that were wrong with it... A stone cold metal pan "full" of dried out sausage and bacon, fried eggs (okay but oily), big white potato rosti which tasted so dry and WEIRD that I thought it might have detergent in it, mushrooms which were to-the-brim with cold liquid oil and BBQ beans which were a horrid blob. Oh, and a side serving of barely cooked toast which was not enough for two. I've had other food - we've tried the Sunday Roast and burgers and they were all equally disappointing - and at the inflated prices being charged they should be better especially with a cup of coffee costing £2.50 and a lager £5 all adding to a bill which I've never once been happy with.So, despite the great location and big excitement with it opening, I've called time on the Stane Street Syndicate... Shame Street.

Much better since refurbed from O'Neills. Eerily spacious when not busy on the weekend but friendly staff and clean throughout. Very adequate place to watch sport or have a couple of beers. Simple but value food menu, mainly mac'n'cheese and burger deals, american diner style.

Very close to Clapham tube, modest food and modest price. A bit of a barn and lacks atmosphere when empty but is great to get a window seat and watch the world go by....and there are some interesting characters.Don't expect too much but take it for what it is and you won't be disappointed.

Places that do breakfast and also allow dogs inside can be tricky to find in London. Stane Street Syndicate does both, and is right next to the canine playground that is Clapham Common. It's also huge. When I went for breakfast at around 10.30am it was open, but totally empty. For some this would be a warning sign - but there's a positive: it's a place you could make vague plans to meet friends for Sunday brunch and be pretty sure there'd be somewhere to sit.I'm also a fan of American breakfasts, which is what I was expecting from Stane Street's US-style diner. I'd gone hoping for something like Lucky Seven, or Diner, or at least a Denny's. Instead the options are limited and nearly all very British - a "Traditional" full English, complete with black pudding and bubble and squeak, a veggie version of that, and sandwiches. The one exception tries to compensate with extreme Americana: fried chicken on a waffle, with syrup.The "traditional" was OK, with the neat touch that the bacon that tasted like it had been lightly barbecued. But it's not the best you'll get, especially for £8.50. However, the dog and I'll almost certainly be going back. The service was friendly. Plus I'm genuinely intrigued to find out what it's like to eat fried chicken on a waffle for breakfast.

we visited with friends on a Tuesday which is 2-4-1 burger night. Considering this was over the festive period when many people choose to eat out, there was only 2 bar staff and 2 waitresses working. This is a very large pub, and the bar staff are expected to take all the food and drink orders, which led to very long queues at the bar all evening. I had booked an 8pm table for 4 people, but when we arrived they had us down for 6pm so we did not have a table reserved. We were offered tables in the cold, dark back parts of the pub, which we refused and asked them to push 2 smaller tables together near the front, which they reluctantly did.Once we had ordered, our food arrived after a short wait- however although two burgers were correct, one burger was wrong and one burger was missing completely. We sent the wrong one back and 15 minutes later it reappeared along with the other missing burger, by which time half the table had finished eating. However one of the main ingredients to my burger was then missing, so I tried to find a waitress- she was no where to be seen and I ended up going into the kitchen to find someone to speak to as there were literally no staff around apart from the 2 overrun bar staff! By the time the missing ingredient arrived, my burger was cold and tasteless. Even the burgers that arrived correct and on time were reportedly not very good.Overall, It didn't ruin our night as we were with very good friends who we always have fun with, but we felt the restaurant experience was a real let down. Ultimately it was because the pub is too big and busy for just 2 bar staff and 2 waitresses, but there were no apologies from anyone working there. There are 3 much better burger restaurants within 3 min walk (Byron, Honest burger and GBK) so next time we will go there and tell others to do the same.
