The best restaurants in Angmering Arun South East

I do like my coffee stops. This one takes some beating. Toasties, baps and pastries are all excellent. They must be doing something right as many of the customers keep coming back time and time again. Staff are all very friendly. Atmosphere great. They even spoil my dog. Great delivery time, they knocked 20 mins off the original quoted hour, but the food was undercooked. I had Rajah prawns and a chicken tikka curry. Both meats were very undercooked without a spec of char on either? What is the point of a tandoor. I had to take the chicken out and cook it some more to make it edible. The rice was hard. I won't be going back.

Another fabulous meal at this wonderful restaurant. We took friends along and they were very impressed. The risotto starter was delicious and everyone else agreed their choices were also very very good.. the Cod dish from the special board was cooked to perfection as was...

Fantastic food and lovely service…ordered a big takeaway for the family and was delivered very quick and piping hot…highly recommend

Carpets in the public areas are getting a bit tatty. Staff are very helpful and one lady managed to run the restaurant and kitchen single handed!

Sorry, but the food was tasteless slop. We were excited to try it out as our family are new to the area. But we won't be going again. It just seemed like they microwaved the same curry sauce and added some onion to one of them. Veg biryani was bad

Always fresh, quality and quantity... Service usually speedy. Staff well versed and polite. Certainly up there with the best I have had! Big-up Big Fry

As always the suroundings were beautiful, the staff fantastic. But the food.... a tale of three course! The starters and deserts were tasty, well presented and tasted delicious.  However, the main Turkey and vegetarian wellington were beyond dissapointing. They were cooked nicely, but the amount of 'brown' food was overhwelming. Far too many potatoes, a large yorkshire pudding and parsnip. All of which were bland. The vegetables (mage tout and sprouts)  were bland and slightly too firm. Only having two vegetables was poor. There was nothing special about them, which you would expect for a christmas meal.  We love coming to the manor throughout the year. But the attention to detail was lost for the main course and below the standard we would expect from them, which is always exceptionally high.

Family of 7 get-together for 2025. Food was delicious great fresh fish, duck starter was brilliant and tasty deserts. Can't fault the service and the chef happily accommodated substitutions for guests when needed. Worth the price. All of us would return.

As usual totally over priced meals that definitely doesn’t reflect the quality. Very poor quality they get you by the look of the food wen you get it very disappointing and bland average food that seems like cash and carry food. Stake ale pie with chips and veg £16.95 !!! Witch is outrageous price any way you would expect it to be full of flavour and not bland and tasteless ! Had this as I avoided the pizza from last vist that left me with a bad stomach seral hours later witch is not a rare thing after dining here unfortunately. Really try to give them a chance after we had to get a Full refund for a terrible over priced carvery we had that was so bad even if wasn’t over double the price of a major Carvery chain it still bad quality. The high prices are justified if it is restraint quality but when it’s makes witherspoons seem high quality it says somthing. It’s a pitty as it’s the local place which my mum loves to get her bits and bobs for the garden from 🙁

I’m sorry but I really don’t know who has been writing such good reviews. Food was mediocre at best, if I had visited the toilet before ordering I would’ve never eaten in there! Disgustingly dirty! And all I kept thinking if the toilets and the place is dirty like this what on earth is the kitchen like! The whole place needs a clean it’s minging!! Yukkkk! Whoever you guys gave as a cleaner…they need firing. We paid our bill and went to the lamb down the road and everyone in there said how dirty it is. Wish we’d not read these good reviews would never have ate there! It’s like a greasy spoon cafe with expensive prices.

We like HASKINS & over Christmas took many of our visitors to see the excellent Market and of course the new LAKELAND department; however, but it is let-down by the poor Restaurant. You guys have known the problem for years, so many reviews mention cold food maybe there is a great display of food but because of the slow checkout system and obtaining drinks after the food selection it is always cold by the time you reach your table. Why don't you look a little further along the road at the Highdown Garden Centre who have solved the problem by having table service with hot plated food arriving at customers table by waiters/waitresses.

My usual Chinese take away was closed , so tried happy house for the first time and I WASNT disappointed, it was lovely and fresh , big portions and will be using happy house from now on 😄😄
