We had a great lunch. My brother is in love with Pokemon and the chef gave him free Pokemon cards. The stone room have great service and lovely staff. I have been here twice and everytime it's been amazing. I would 100% recommend it.

Tried this place for the second time and I must say the pizzas we had were really tasty, well done to chefs. The service was excellent, you don't wait long for your food at all and lastly its very reasonably price. Definitely go try them out. Will definitely return

Was at Goodwood FOS and staying nearby. Had a couple of beers and a simple Pizza with my son but thoroughly enjoyed it . Parking is tight but the food was good, the restaurant is modern and clean. Served by young staff who were excellent and very professional. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly recommend this place as both the premier restaurant of Angmering and a hidden gem which has garnered a reputation for a very high quality experience. While my friend and I were fortunate enough to get a table from walking in, the well-deserved popularity of The Stone Room means this may not be a given and booking ahead is advised, especially for larger parties. The decor is modern and sleek, but relaxing and family-friendly, with an upbeat soundtrack which does not distract or overwhelm. The quality of the food we ordered was excellent, though the prices are still reasonable and comparative to other brands. I was particularly impressed by the quality of service provided to us by all members of staff we interacted with. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

I love this place, the menu is fabulous and I have to say the pizzas are the best I ever tried. My son is gluten free and they cater for him very well. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Highly recommended.

Had only been open a week. Already running really smoothly. All food was lovely. I'd have the pizza a tad thinner, wanted to taste all those lovely fresh toppings. Little too much dough for me. I mentioned this to a member of staff and he said I could ask for the pizza to be thinner next time. Amazing service ☺️ UPDATE - SECOND VISIT. Everything was perfect. The staff, the food, the restaurant. The pizza, thin base and spot on. Thank you 😊

My singular visit was exceptional...I shall return to see if they're consistent but my suspicion is that they are always as good as they were on my visit 😉

Good times there on many occasions

Over priced for what it is, our experience there was okay, just didn’t feel the price reflected the quality of food and service, we spent £150+ on the 2 of us for a special occasion.. personally didn’t think it was worth the hype Also we were being rushed out over an hour before there closing time as they weren't to busy, I understand.. but still not really acceptable when your a paying customer :(

Pizza's are great, but was not impressed with pasta. Sharing boards and gelato were amazing!

We had a lovely meal for four recently. I like my veggie pizza as hot as possible*, so I challenged them to maximise the heat. I wasn't disappointed with the piquilio peppers, pickled chillies and red onion topping. It was very tasty indeed. The fries/parmesan fries were excellent. Sister-in-law Fiona enjoyed her Negroni, the Shiraz was good and the overall bill was very reasonable. The customer service from the friendly and accommodating* Jess was excellent. I think it is a great restaurant. Their pizza oven is amazing! Very highly recommended. It is my go-to place to dine in Angmering.

Great food very tasty, fab atmosphere and restaurant. The only let down was we sat down with three children, by the end when we asked for the bill we see another table receive playdough activity for their children. We didn’t know about this or wasn’t offered the whole time, such a shame as the kids wouldn’t sit still x

I went here last night for the first time, wow the best pizza I have had in a restaurant! Small place which was a lovely atmosphere. The lady who served us was very friendly! I can't wait to go back! We did have cocktails and sides so was abit pricey, but money well spent!

First time there. Lovely big pizzas. A little to much mozzarella on my Diaviol pizza and very tiny pieces of anchovies which I ordered as an extra topping, but it was a lovely pizza. Pasta dishes were very nice. We went in at lunch time. Table of 4. We were the only ones in there so atmosphere was quite but the service was good. Will return.

This is a cleverly conceived budget Italian restaurant, run by the proprietor of The Lamb, a leading gastro pub sited immediately opposite. Although the fare is reasonably standard pizza and pasta, there are some interesting specials and, partly due to there being an impressive super-sized pizza oven, the pizzas are excellent. Thankfully, the owners have resisted the temptation to create an overly faux-Italian atmosphere, and this contributes to an unusually enjoyable and authentic dining experience which is great, particularly for families and teenagers. Well priced drinks and an interesting selection of draft beers. Overall, it's super value. We will go again.

We have stayed in Angmering village a few times now and on arrival this evening we decided to try The Stone Room as it was not here the last time we visited. We have mixed feelings on the restaurant, and probably wouldn't go again unless things are improved as there are plenty of good quality eateries in the area. On arrival, the waiter showed us to our table, provided menus and left, no mention of the specials. We only discovered there were some when the table next to us arrived and their waiter proudly regaled the list of specials!! Anyway, our waiter took our pizza order without writing it down (why do they do that sometimes!) and of course the pizzas were wrong. Thankfully, on pointing it out, the mistakes were quickly rectified and in fact they were very tasty. We were never checked on by our waiter to confirm all was good with our meal unlike the aforementioned table next to us, their waiter and another checked on them!! Finally, on paying the bill and heading home, we realised that the restaurant had obviously changed its prices and had not updated their menus so that the bill did not match the prices on the menu we were supplied nor that on the website. Not great really, how hard is it to reprint some simple paper menus.

Nice place to meet up with friends, good decor, clean and bright and lovely staff. All our choices of food were available and arrived lovely and hot. The choice of drinks was good also. Always happy to go to the Stone Room and take family and friends.

My partner and I decided not to cook and had heard good thing, definitely lived up to what we heard. Really friendly female manager, speedy service and smiles all around. We were early happy to seat us, the misses had a margarita and I had a smoky diavola both delicious. Will most definitely be coming back again.

Absolutely fabulous food and top rate service. Popped in for a spontaneous lunch and were delighted with this place. Can't really comment on the atmosphere as we were the only ones in there. Will visit again

Myself and a friend visited yesterday for lunch for the 2nd time. We loved it the first time so were confident we’d have a lovely lunch again but sadly the menu has been significantly reduced, no salads or pasta dishes were available meaning our only option was pizza. Our pizza’s were fine although the toppings on mine had been sectioned individually rather than being mixed together meaning one of whole chunk of pizza had nothing but artichoke on it and one whole chunk nothing but olives, this may need a rethink. I think only offering pizza at lunchtimes at the weekend is a mistake to be honest and we wouldn’t visit again while the menu is so restricted but would definitely return if the pasta’s and salads make a come back.

Six of us including two grandchildren aged six and four. They were given what looked like edible playdough with roller and cutter which kept them amused throughout. Brilliant!

I don't remember ever eating a pizza better than I had at The Stone Room. Freshly made with tasty ingredients. There is a nice selection of Italian wines and fantastic cocktails and beers. Excellent. The staff here are very attentive, friendly and polite. The venue is a good size too. Many thanks for a lovely evening.

Friendly helpful staff and good food

Very nice clean restaurant, pleasantly arranged and nice views into the kitchen and pizza oven. I had checked menu on line and I was looking forward to a nice pasta dish. When menu arrived only pizza or egg benedict with various fillings. Very nice benedict with smoked salmon, one of my favourites. Service, didn't bring my 7 year olds pizza out to quite a while after everyone else's. Told pizzas were delicious but I have a cheese intolerance so can't eat pizza.

What an fabulous pizza. The team were busy but very helpful. The atmosphere was perfect. Congrats to the chiefs I have eaten pizza all over Italy and todays pizza could have come straight from there. The team are brilliant please go and try it, you will not be disappointed.

Not a bad experience at all but also not in any way stand out. Staff were pleasant but with minimal interaction, food was well sized and good quality ingredients but the pizzas were all slightly burnt on the bottom. Ambience was nice although not a busy night so unsure how it would fair on a weekend, and prices were OK for what we got. So no complaints at all, but no wow factor that would make it a priority to revisit.

Really lovely staff and really good pizza

Service perfect , lovely venue . The food was really good, had a pasta dish that I felt was a little under sized and a friends calzone was really tasty but a little over cooked . These tiny details prevented a 5 , sure next time it will be a 5 star all the way

Went to the stone room today 24th November 2022 lunch with family, for the first time and I've got to say the food and serve were outstanding. Waitress was very polite and helpful the restaurant its self was beautifully laid out and decorated lovely. Overall 10/10. I highly recommend the stone room. Garlic bread best I've ever had.

Really pleased they have so many gluten free options! Lovely team and nice atmosphere. We'll be coming back (if we can get a table!)

I was passing by and it caught my attention, I went in and ordered a juice and a salad, I was delighted by the extremely friendly and courteous staff and the excellent comfort, the food was really good and definitly I will return with my family.

We got our days mixed up and turned up on the wrong day, still managed to get us in.. It's certainly a great asset for Angmering. Looking forward to next visit .

I finally visited the Stone rooms a couple of weeks ago for a last minute date night with my husband. Great food and service, the Cocktails were also excellent and it was very reasonably priced. To get all of these things seems to be a rare occasion these days! 💯 recommend and will definitely go back. Thank you.

Just had the worst Italian meal ever. The calamari was without a doubt from Iceland store, spaghetti bolognese was absolutely disgusting with canned cheap tomatoes, no flavour. So disappointed as we were very excited to try this restaurant.

Really good friendly service and a great Pizza, my only problem is the parking but if you live locally it really is worth a visit.

Absolutely enjoyed every minute, the food was amazing, so tasty, the prosecco excellent and the staff were so friendly and attentive, would eat there every week if I could :) so lucky its local.

Just had a lovely family dinner here with my wife and 2 children to mark the end of the summer holidays. All the staff are lovely, very attentative and so good with the children. Playdough and pizza cutters each were a great touch! The tables are spacious and the whole place is really well done. Food delicious and the service was swift. Thoroughly recommended

First time in the area visited this pizza place as we love Italian food . we ordered two pizzas and garlic bread. Garlic bread had just oil, did not taste like garlic. The pizza dough was not cooked, was watery and raw dough, chilli oil did not taste of chilli and the drinks tasted like they were watered down. We asked to speak to someone in charge and a male came over and he was aggressive in his tone from the start questioning what we wanted and if we wanted another pizza. He did not understand we didn’t want another pizza as we just wanted a decent pizza cooked and we had been put off We had to ask for refund on the garlic bread, no refund offered by the male in charge. We mentioned the cooks were rushing to cover the demand and he didn’t like that and just walked off . One of the cooks looked as though he was on something and not with it walking through the restaurant out the back and did this many times. This made us ask for the bill and we left. We later found out that this restaurant is owned by the Lamb Pub family. Very disappointed as we had two wonderful meals at The Lamb. Very poor food and disgraceful attitude and behaviour. Would not recommend. The Lamb owners sort your staff out as you have no idea what they are doing!

Excellent place to eat. The prawn linguini was to die for. Never had pasta this good before. My partners pizza was really tasty and we can recommend the dough balls too. Excellent service. We’ll be back.

We visited The Stone Room yesterday and what a fantastic experience it was. The decor is very clean and chic and the staff are very friendly and professional. There is a lovely menu available with the usual Italian favourites, pizza, pastas antipasto etc. The sourdough base of their pizzas are so tasty and moist with plenty of toppings to choose from. Very reasonably priced and a wonderful time was had by all. Looking forward to going back soon.

Rather disappointing. The calzone top was burnt beyond what I would call servable and had to scrape the burnt bits off. The filling was good but the after taste of the burnt pizza dough generally ruined the dish. From the body language of the waiter I feel he knew he should not have been presenting the dish in that state. The staff went around several tables while we were dining to check everything was okay with everyone else's meal but avoided us, which again made us feel they should not have presented food in that state. All the burnt bits where left on the plate and although we mentioned how disappointing it was all we got was an apology, no discount of the meal, no free drink, no discount of our next visit (which will not be happening) so I am afraid we cannot give a good review and we will not be back, sorry.

Went to the stone room last night and I have to say the food was lovely, the service was quick and the food was fresh. Great menu to choose from both food and cocktails all which is reasonably priced. The staff are very attentive and polite. I definitely recommend going here.

We made our first visit to The Stone Room last evening (Thursday) but made a bit of a mistake in not booking. Fortunately we managed to get the last table which was outside. As luck would have it, it was a fabulous sunny evening and we welcomed sitting outside with a glass of Shiraz - very continental! A carafe of water came as standard. The staff seemed to have been trained to the same standards as their sister restaurant, The Lamb opposite - polite, friendly, immaculately turned out, and efficient. We shared the cheesy garlic bread and chutney as a starter - this was effectively an Italian-style small cheese & garlic topped pizza which was very nice. How people like their pizzas is, of course, very subjective. My main course was one of my favourites, the cinque formaggio pizza - about 10" - which, personally, was one of the best I have had and my wife's short rib cannelloni, served piping hot in a cast iron dish, with garlic bread was delicious. For a dessert, we shared a portion of the creamy raspberry cheesecake and a fruit ice cream scoop which was exceptional. For a restaurant that has only been open for one week, this was impressive. Well done to the owners and the staff - a real asset to Angmering. However, do make an advance booking, especially in the evenings.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the decor and atmosphere are lovely. Pizzas still need some work though. Sauce pretty tasteless and dough needs a hotter oven. Apologies for my review. I hope you do well.

We enjoyed a great lunch of Pizza followed by the cheesecake. Great atmosphere, very good service, would thoroughly recommend a visit. Well done to all the staff.
