Lovely, friendly and welcoming, this is a wonderful old pub in the heart of Arundel. Great atmosphere indoors and out, where there is plenty of seating. We were lucky to have live music from local shanty singers the Duck Pond Sailors to make a warm summer evening extra special. The Kings Arms is dog friendly too, what could be better?

Lovely cosy location with seating outside front and back. Had a beer festival on whilst we were there and live music outside.

Nice place very good service well thought out outside area but we didn't eat here but had a looked at menu and it looked like a good variety at normal prices yes very nice.

Cosy,family run small pub.It was a great choice to have a rest on our day out in Arundel. They have good selections of ale. Friendly staff. They do not have food but if you order take away they give you cutlery and plate, so you can eat it in the pub. Great idea! The pub has outdide seating area at the front and also in the garden at the back.

A very friendly and welcoming pub in which you can bring your own food as long as you buy a drink (of course). We thoroughly enjoyed a Chinese takeaway, a couple of glasses of wine, and a lovely atmosphere.

A traditional 2 room pub a little away from the bustle of the town centre. Street front seating and a pleasant outdoor area in the back. A good atmosphere with friendly discussion and popular with the locals. A good choice of well kept cask ales. Dog friendly.

Oldest pub in Arundel and maybe the smallest in the world very friendly and welcoming with a beer garden and seats out the front don't do food but they say you can take your own

No doubt better in the evenings so, a visit is required. Beer is good.

I really like this eclectic place, rough around the edges but probably unchanged for 50 years. They provide takeaway menus from the local Chinese etc, and plates to eat off! Full of locals, a nice little beer garden, darts board, lovely staff. The place should be preserved by the National Trust...

Oldest pub of Arundel. We had drinks in the back garden. It was very pleasant on a hot day. Large selection of beers and soft drinks.

Visited here last week on a very hot day. I'm not sure if these factors are in any of the following... I was out for the weekend with my wife as usual, and we came across this pub on our travels. We found the staff to be a little on the grumpy side. The actual bar was not busy, and we were rushed to order and pay, no chatter in regards to drinks we might like. I was told by my wife that the wine was not very nice, and to be honest, mine had a funny taste too. We went to sit in the garden area, but it seemed to be all undercover, so we sat out the front, which was spilt in two on separate sides of the road, and on a hill, the tables had chocks under them to make them level. We sat on the side with the benches but were not comfortable as we had limited space on them due to bird poo.. We would like to give this place another Try, but on a cooler day, maybe things will be different...

A brilliant, traditional pub (almost 400 yrs old) with loads of decent beers located in a gorgeous looking town. What more could you ask for? We were lucky enough to visit over the Bank Holiday weekend during a 3-day beer festival event where there were some great ales available - all at just £4 a pint!

A "proper" well run pub: friendly, good range of beers - doesn't provide food, but happy to bring your own take away from the Chinese take away just up the road or the Indian restaurant behind the post office

Nice dog friendly pub on Tarrant Street in Arundel. However on this occasion some other drinkers blocked the route between the bar and the outside space as they sat around a large table, and they had no interest in moving. Not an issue with the pub but with the clientele

Nice pub, friendly staff, lagers can be inconsistent in quality. Only niggle would be to avoid weekend daytimes as on the last few visits it's been full of screaming children with parents just ignoring them as if they don't exist.

Fantastic local pub in the centre of Arundel. Everyone so friendly when we visited on Saturday evening. Bar staff lovely. Unique selling point is they don't do food, however they have a great selection of the local take aways who will happily deliver and the pub provides plate etc. Fab idea and the fact they are also dog 🐶🐶🐶🐶 friendly as well is the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Great pub in the middle of Arundel. Always 3 ales on tap and other beers. BYO food which is really nice. Small outside courtyard at back to sit outside in summer!

Excellent pub for locals. Absolutely love it here. Quite often home to unique little events like beer festival or carol singing. This is one of the (many) reasons I love living in Arundel.

A wonderful warm welcome and great beer awaits.... Charlie and Ali dont serve food, but you are most welcome to bring your own (we had Chinese) for which plates, cutlery and napkins were provided! Lovely quaint little pub, no food service but they let you (encourage you to!) eat takeaways inside.

Quaint and clean , this pub is well run . The landlady was very welcoming and she cleaned the bar area constantly. Good ale 🍺 and a Jukebox ! Which is unusual for Arundel pubs to have a Jukebox these days.plenty of seating and tables. I shall return.

We went on a walk about, saw that it looked like a cute pub. They have a sign outside explaining no food but people are welcome to bring their own. There are street tables outside and a lovely atmosphere inside . We stopped for a drink and a packet of crisps. Stayed outside with our dog but enjoyed our stop . Recommend this pub don't walk by.

This is my local. I've never felt more at home in my life. Staff, owners and other customers have created over the years a such fantastic welcoming community! The quiz is energetic and so much fun!!! I drink lager but the ale people say that the real beer is the best in Arundel. Bring your dog, there's treats behind the bar.. also I will pet the dog. Please bring your dog... Please...

Easily the best pub in Arundel. The landlord has been there for 25 years and you are assured of a warm welcome. Although they don't do food you can have a takeaway delivered and they'll supply cutlery & plates. The beer is always in great condition.

Proper pub . The landlord Charlie is such a top bloke . Always welcoming and such a great atmosphere . If your in arundel it's located in Tarrant Street. We'll worth a visit

A really friendly pub tucked away in the cobbled back streets of Arundel. Really friendly lady at the bar and a nice vibe in general. We were able to sit outside and felt really safe whilst drinking there. Whilst food isn't being served at the moment your welcome to bring your. By their own admission at the time they didn't have all the beers on tap the local ale I had was well served. Check this pub out - really nice place.
