This is a lovely pub that we hadn't been to before! When you go in the door the bar and tables were down a few steps! There were plenty of places to sit, upstairs as well, which had great views of the river as well as some tables downstairs! It's an old pub with lots of character and good beer!! Will be back again!!

The menu was slightly unclear. I thought I was ordering a sandwich it turned out to be a light bite. It wasn’t a great light bite. Menu description chicken, chorizo with baby mashed potatoes and chilli and tomato sauce. When my food arrived I first thought ok it looks good I’ll give it ago not a sandwich as first thought. From the description the baby potatoes were not mashed all 7 appeared whole. The chilli and tomato sauce hmm I think the chef forget the chilli it was just like tomato puree over the top. Not what I expected and not great or tasty the chicken tasted like rubber and chorizo was tough. I ate it as we were a birthday party but would not eat again. Staff very friendly just food let us down.

Family lunch for my husbands birthday, I don’t actually know where to begin, we sat on a table outside and went in to order our food and drinks, 3 of us had cheeses burgers and chips, 1 full English breakfast, 1 jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw, 1. Jacket potato with prawns and a child’s fish chips and peas, 3 diet cokes an orange juice a Ribena and a coffee all coming to over £85. Our burgers had no salad or any garnish or any sauce, said on the menu it came with salad, full English was dry plain no butter on the toast, not very good value for money considering it cost £12 everything dumped on top of the toast. The only meals that actually looked good were the jacket potato and my granddaughters fish chips and peas. Very over priced for the quality of the food. I came here a few years ago and the food was amazing, such a shame.

Buddha bowl, not that much and rather bland, delicious "smoothie" though but all round quite pricey. Its a little dark but a window table makes it OK. Wouldn't go back!

We had breakfast here today, both had the vegetarian. An understandably long wait as a busy Easter Sunday. However for £9.00 each excluding drinks, we expected a lot more. There were two eggs, a tiny veg sausage, one small tomatoe cut in half, a tub of baked beans, two paper thin slices of halloumi and two slices of toast.

We had some issues but how they delt with it was amazing I'm sorry for my outburst

Clean warm good sized rooms and facilities, could do with some hooks in rooms for coats etc., and a reading lamp both sides of double in room 4. Friendly, nice bar and lounge quirky in a good way, lovely well kept ales, right within stones throw of all the best of Shoreham, close to station, walking distance to Galleria Italian restaurant, nice area around church, and the Ropetackle Arts Centre...

Awful and expensive. Bought 2 baguette rolls, one was chicken and bacon...but no bacon. One was a NY Deli...not great either but all ingredients present. 2 bags of crips and 2 drinks...just shy of £16. A real rip off. When I complained I was told that they all come premade so they were unaware...ok that's alright then! Bread was doughy and industrial...absolutely nothing to like and a rip off to boot. Avoid at all costs.

My mother is a member of the legion so I went with her for a Saturday night out. We got there early in a taxi as I was told it got really busy and we may have trouble finding seats. Well, weren’t short of a choice of seats, being told by the bar staff it was the middle of the month and it gets busy at the end of the month. There was a girl singer, she was very good and she was wasted as we were nearly the only ones joining in with the singing and eventually the dancing. Sadly the place lacked atmosphere but it is what it is and we made our own entertainment,

I have been presently suprised, by this lovely gem of a place, that is literally a short walk from home, and got such a lovely vibe with very well kept ales, and do good entertainment, tucked away up in the corner of a parade, makes such a nice evening out, i would solely recommend it, and now found it will certainly go back, can't believe its taken me so long to find it.

Overpriced, spent over £50 still £3 for delivery within a couple of miles...very late as well!

Great fast food and plenty of healthy salad .

Always good service from this McDonald's. Only dropped a star as there were no fruit bags left and I had to have carrots even though I'd paid for a fruit bag. Better service than the one at Southend Airport which is actually nearer for me.

We don't have a chinese take away often but we had saved enough up to have a treat. This is our go to as have always had nice hot good tasting food. We are wondering if it has changed hands as the one last night was awful the barbeque spare ribs were in a wishy washy tasteless greasy sauce. The ribs were greasy no flavour and all fat. The noodles were cold and running grease. The lemon chicken can only be described as rank they swimming in a greasy sauce and as you cut the chicken all yew could see was an undercooked meat. The prawn crackers were hard and greasy. We did phone and they said they would send another out we couldn't even think of that asked for a full refund which we are waiting on and wont be using them again.
