Best one out of the Southend maccers hands down. Foods quick, hot, brought to the table everytime. Two more mature women that usually work the floor, doing face painting, making sure everything is good. They're brilliant. They deserve a raise. Plus they got a worker in there called Yasmin. Absolute 🔥, always smiling, always polite and friendly, looks banging in the uniform, she deserves a raise too. 👍🏻👍🏻

It was McDonalds. Fairly quick service although busy

All food really good but my sprite tasted like fizzy toilet water. Everything else, delicious.

Be lucky to get hot food or full portion of chips, manager just doesn't care and is quite rude. Started to go to another one because of this. What values the customer

Great service inside on Easter Sunday. Even nicer to see the outside environment kept tidy for the surrounding community. Didn't catch the chap in car parks name. However a credit to your restaurant and just as important a job.

Food was "McDonald's' so always good. Staff were hectic and not much customer service for people waiting going on but that being said they were eternally busy and rushed off their feet as it was Friday night, They seemed to be concentration on the just eat and uber eat orders butI got it in the end. Ps the spicy burger is very hot.

Seriously, we are reviewing McDonalds now? It's fast food, mediocre as expected. Excellent if you are in the area and require sustenance. As cheap and reliable as any other Maccie D's........hopefully you aren't expecting anything more than cheap fast food, if you are, you will be disappointed.

It's just average, it's mcdonalds its definitely not known for fine cuisine is it.

We were there just after 7pm bit of a wait. Lots of deliveries being prepared which slowed down the service, for eating in. Food was as expected from McDonald's.

We was very wet and cold due to massive rain storm.so used McDonald's to get dry and warm and have something to eat. Couldn't have picked a better place, staff helpful and so polite.

We nt into to restaurant to get a breakfast. I was in a wheelchair and struggling with the self service boards a lovely young lady named Yasmin came and helped me out. A credit to the branch x

Popped through the drivethru whilst on the road. Both workers on the drive thru hatches were very polite and actually seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. Food was hot and tasted good and wasn't greasy. Everything was alright

Love this McDonald's! The food is always hot, fresh and of good quality. Staff are friendly and often crack a joke with you. Drive-through can get rammed around school leaving times and 5/ 6 o'clock but with two drive-through order stations you get through quickly! There is ample parking for all vehicles although you are restricted for drive-through (1.8m I think!?) The actual restaurant is clean and not normally too busy! Except school and dinner times. There is an inside and outside area, both kid friendly. The toilets are looked after and checked regularly and all is wheelchair friendly right from car to toilet!

Just a basic breakfast We ordered a standard breakfast, but minus ingredients. Served as ordered.

By far the best McDonald’s in the area it does get busy but if you end up there at any not busy time of the day it will give you the highest standard food and service McDonald’s can give. The high street McDonald’s are becoming a vulnerable places to go and let alone in the summer the waits can literally go to around an hour it’s just not worth it. Just take the extra drive here and enjoy your McDonald’s 10x more!

This used to be my local branch, not every week though when I lived in Southend. Depending when you go in it can be a bit rough but the food was ok and the staff are friendly and hard working.

I sometimes wonder how you rate a major brand, but today was easy. 1, staff non engaging, no eye contact, no smiles. 2, order screen not working, very hard to hear your order number,a raise voice would have helped. In their defense the place was packed, with bag apon bags of delivery orders. Which seems to take priority over people waiting in the place. Unfortunately not the best experience

Didn't pack all my items. Didn't answer the phone so had to return. This does happen a lot so make sure you check your order before leaving

Usual McDonald's fare. Still reasonable prices in a cost of living crisis. Clean and reasonably efficient despite a congested drive-thru and quite a number of customers queueing in the restaurant itself. Friendly and helpful staff.

I had a pleasant experience at McDonald's in Southchurch. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The only setback I encountered was the difficulty in finding a parking space. Despite that, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and I would recommend this location for a tasty meal.

Good quick and easy ordering through the app or onsite but parking is less then it should be so sometimes you can get stuck if u go in rush hours. They don’t have all the options available at all times so can be disappointed if going for one thing particular. Otherwise food quality and service is good. Staff is respectful

It's a McDonald's like so many others. This restaurant has a drive through, some outdoor seating and wc facilities. Wheelchair accessible including the baby wheelchair washroom. Looks like this facility still is / has pivoted towards home delivery. Order collection point for delivery collection people is bigger than for any eating in the restaurant. Overall it's a MacDonald.

These places really are becoming mediocre

We visited today, the traffic was horrendous, the staff were rude and unhelpful and the food we had ordered was cold. Never again.

Absolute shambles this place. Tried to have breakfast, arrived well ahead of time. Ordered ahead on the app. Arrived, stood in the q for 10 mins and then app wouldn't work to bring up order, by that time we were told they stopped serving breakfast.she stated that the breakfast cut off time is 10.45, even though in the restaurant they serve it until 11am Nowhere or on the app did it say or show this. Totally misleading and very bad customer service and bad experience. Manager on duty very unhelpful too and couldn't care less or be bothered in any way shape or form, letting us wait for ages before even seeing us, thus waisting more time and wouldn't even try to sort it. Went away annoyed and hungry and can't recommend this place at all as there seem to be issues every time we been here before. Don't bother with the app its a waste of time. But then who's surprised really its McDonald's nuff said :( waste of time and petrol for us too.

Just went through the drive thru just now at 18:02 and this lady who served us was quite rude and wasn’t polite at all. I’m a chef myself and I know hospitality is difficult but I don’t treat customers like that. She also got our drink wrong and said that we need to change it by the window as she’s put it through now. The exact words. Very snappy..

Bit slow serves the food was what I expected but while I was in a medical emergency happened with a customer all staff acted quickly and calmly to call 999 and apply 1st aid

The guy behind the counter called me a gamer word and I was pretty impressed while waiting for my chonklen tendiz. very french fried.

Waited 20 mins to get to the order point. On the way in passed an assistant sitting at the entrance.Looking pretty bored. Got to the order point and was told cash only- card machine was out of order. I said I didn’t have cash. Asked why they didn’t use someone to hold up a sign earlier on or tell people joining a queue that they couldn’t use their cards. No. apology- just- well that’s what you have to do . Waited another 15 mins to get to the window. Asked the server why the guy sitting at the front wasn’t telling people they could only pay by cash - she said that’s what he was doing. Well that’s what he WASN’T doing

Absolutely useless group of staff that clearly cant count. Delivered by uber eats with a big mac meal missing again I think McDonalds must owe me about £200 in meals, how hard is it to count 3 big mac meals into a bag.

Why is it that McDonald's is so inconsistent? Many are Rubbish, some are OK - Good, Shoreham is quite simply outstanding

Had a long wait for 2 items , Massive group of people waiting too. The last time i visited it was exactly the same situation so it's not a one off.

20 min wait for food not good it only seems to be this store never had to wait that long at any other !

Gave me the wrong meal, they replaced the burger minus fries.....because i’d already eaten some. Weird. I asked for fries. They refused to give me ‘free fries’ (that i’d paid for). Made me pretty cross. Ok, so fries are worth annoying a customer? I don’t think so. Drive past this place and go buy a tastier meal elsewhere ..... there is an excellent kebab place in Shoreham and the tap house serves the best burgers for miles around. I’ll not return to this place. I quite enjoyed the arguments. Now I have a solid reason not to return, ever.

Service was terrible had to wait ten minutes at the counter until served whilst the manager was swearing about a “f*** up” when children were around. Saw staff without gloves touching food and not washing hands. Good was chucked in packaging portions were tiny for the price and the cleaner was constantly disturbing everyone whilst they were eating. Don’t come here unless you want some kind of illness.

Been to this Mc Donalds a number of times (drive through) and they have forgotten items and got my orders wrong more then they have gotten them right! its an absolute joke. the staff are always talking amongst themselves and laughing away, instead of concentrating on doing there job and giving customers what they have paid for, even if you ask them if everything is there, CHECK! as the likeliness is that there is something wrong.I will no longer be wasting my money on a joke of a service and staff that cant be bothered to check that your our order is correct and that you have everything that you have paid good money for.

I feel a bit weird writing a review for a McDonald’s but the one on the coast road in Shoreham is consistently good. It is always clean, the staff are friendly and the food is provided fresh and promptly.If only they could all be like this one!

Had a take away McDonalds tonight,the service was terrible, this was because my order was incorrect, also the staff were rude, and food was cold.We actually paid for larger drinks and we were given regular. How can someone get a simple order do wrong ?

Average McDonald’s plenty of seating which was not very busy situated between Tesco’s and Marks & Spencer’s tasty burgers but not value for money in our opinion very clean though

Well I thought with all fast food chains, staff, who handle food hand to wear gloves???? To my shock horror, I watched a young boy not shove and try and roll, a wrap! Which to me isn’t hard! He then wiped his nose on the back of his hand!

Didn't make too good a job of any part of the meal, although in fairness it was hot unlike the ice cream which was melting by the time the main part arrived.

On a nightly drive with the other half spot a mc’d thinking normally not to bad OMG how wrong were we food cold looked like been sat up for ages McFlurry looked half eaten took it back and said was gonna make a fresh one all he did was top it up all I can say is I hope I’m not sick tomorrow

For the second time in a row, I’ve returned home from the drive thru to find Ive got food missing from my order. Food I’ve paid for. We even checked the with the person handing over the food today, and they confirmed the order was correct. This is stealing. And also very disappointing for the person in our family who has to miss out. Please train your staff to count.

Obviously not the healthiest or cleanest or classiest place to go however it is always nice to have a McDonald's nearby when you are hungry in the day or coming back from a long journey.

I love the way everyone has a go about this store bit I've always used it. The staff work had and sometimes it takes time to make up the food if they're really busy. I'm happy to wait. I really miss it no it's closed for a refit.

Love McDonalds go there all the time but find it very strange that all staff have hair nets and hats on and what looks like team leaders or managers just let long hair hand uncovered even though they deal with food as well.not very hygienic.they also should wear hair nets.long blonde hair flying about doesn't give a very good impression

Very busy but very clean. Tables cleaned as soon as they were vacated. Breakfast was a little bit greasy and service a little slow.

Como estaba conduciendo una para camiones tuve que esperar, pero si lo supiera me hubiera detenido antes en mi furgoneta. También el sitio web horas estaban equivocados. I recently visited the store, where i was greeted with such horrible stares of all staff. I was then called to the till for my order to be taken where i was greeted so rudely and this made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Once getting my food the burger was stuck to the box and was also very soggy. I then moved onto the chips where i found a HAIR in them, i spoke with a member of staff who did not have a clue what they were doing. If anyone is to visit this restaurant then be aware there foods hygiene and personal hygiene must be very poor. I shall not be returning any time soon.....

Ordered a happy meal for my 3 y/o and chips for my partner and I. Chips were cold. But thats normal.

Popped in for ice cream served by young man whos customer service was zero rude ,had total attitude really could not believe the way he spoke to myself and my friend both middle aged ladies. He needs dealing with I di have his name but won't name and shame on this occasion maybe just having a bad night

We popped in on our way to Eastbourne. It wasn't busy when we arrived, and after the drinks were made they said they would bring the food over. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but it took at least 10 minutes! However, the chips were very hot when brought over. I suppose as it was fresh, it was worth waiting for.

We did not time our stay in the car park and got a £100 parking ticket in the post for staying 35 mins too long.There is a sign as you drive in saying there is free parking for a limited time but I did not pay much attention. I would like McDonald's to have a sign on their door telling people about the parking.

Rude and clueless staff, the place smells. I ordered a salad without dressing and it arrived dripping in oil with un-fresh rubbery bacon bits on it. Never again.

My wife and I had a light lunch here yesterday, fillet of fish bun, burger, chips and apple pies. Decent by any standards. The only minor point worth mentioning is the chips, very much on the cool side.It's got good parking, level walking and the staff are friendly and helpful.Top tip: If you're on the mature side like us, school holidays are not the wisest times to visit !

Stopped by for a cheeky cheeseburger and a milkshake on way home from work. The good lady was going out - so saved me making something to eat.LOVE the McDonalds milkshakes. Food is nothing to really shout about, its McDonalds, cheap and standard.Good service, good milkshake. Drive thru used too.

I don't go for burgers, but if I have to eat here - I have the fillet of fish, and sometimes the hot apple pie. Great for a quick tea, but they are all difficult to park at, and generally uninspiring.

Kids had a happy meal each on way back from football.1 x chicken nuggets and 1 x cheeseburger. Sadly no milkshakes available, so Dad didn't have anything. Restaurant has had a bit of a facelift, but its food isn't great.Polite staff though. One of the better ones to consume at.

Having a 13 year old boy in our family means the inevitable trip to a McDonald's when we need a snack between breakfast & dinner. After a successful game of pitch and putt in Worthing we drove over to Shoreham to grab a bite to eat here. Parking is free but incredibly cramped and there is a constant traffic flow as cars loaded with young kids come and go. We decided to eat inside which meant queuing to place our orders and finding a free table that wasn't too splattered with the previous diners meal. I minimised my exposure to the food here by ordering a flat cheeseburger and a ice cream with chocolate bits whirled into it. At least all the family was able to fill a gap between proper meals and we were soon on our way. Needless to say our 13 year old was completely satisfied but his opinion doesn't count so high in this review :-)

Had a craving for a chocolate milkshake, it HAD to be a McDonald's one. Hadn't had one in years, so treated the kids to their first ones also.Brilliant Milkshakes. My wife has a McFlurry.Wouldn't have dinner in a McDonalds myself these days, but will grab a milkshake when passing and in need haha.

A consistently bad Big Mac no lettuce no cheese bit of soggy gherkin and that's your burger # no effort don t why I keep giving them a chance in area and hungry I suppose sister restaurants are really good so must be bad management

Being a Friday lunch time I thought I would treat myself. The service was slow to say the least. After waiting for over 10minutes for my food... (They told me to take a seat it took so long) my food finally came. The cold mozzarella sticks and a warm soggy burger didn't quite do it for me. I've been to a few mc Donald's in my time but this has been the worst hands down!!! Avoid if you have the option.

I must admit its been over 20 years since I had a McDonalds and I have no intention of eating another one before I die.My daughter, who I had just collected from the airport (£6.00 for parking for 35 mins). She fluttered her eyelashes at me aand said in a way that only daughters do "D'adddyyyy can we go to McDonalds on the way home."I of course agreed.Nowadays at this McDonalds you are required to "drive through" you then shout your order into a distant microphone and a disembodied voice, that long ago should have had his adenoids seen to, repeats your order.You are then required to go along to the next window to pay, The you wait in a queue to go to third window where you pick up your food.Have you noticed there is little customer contact and no notion of service.We went to the window where after a further wait we were asked to wait in the car park for some one to bring our order.We waited twenty minutes in the end my daughter went and retrieved the order.These people give morons a bad name and how they have the cheek to call these glorified garages "restaurants" really beats me.Now I didn't try the food so my marks are based on my assumption of what it would taste like bearing in mind there production methods and the competence of the staff.Loving it? Not a lot
