The best restaurants in South East

Really enjoyed food and service. I had the carbonara and it knocked mine into a cocked hat! Friend has Calzone which I tried and we both loved.

An amazing little family run restaurant Food is professionally cooked and amazingly presented. Front of house warm, friendly and efficient. Pub prices with restaurant quality cooked food. The best restaurant in Lymington

Very nice place to have a breakfast in Brighton. The food was very unexpected, but made with lot of love. Best breakfast we had in the city, outside of the traditional english breakfast!

Meat, burger was lovely. The fries on both orders tonight tasting stale, greasy and chewy at the same time. Obviously not fresh. Disappointed

Lovely Cafe with friendly, Food was very tasty!

We had a lovely Friday night out at The Sun with friends. The menu is varied, and we all had different food choices, including vegetarian options. The food was hot, beautifully served and delicious, with a good choice of sweet options. This is a Gastropub, the food standard is very high. The pub was warm, and the service was fast and efficient. Okay but over priced and not very large portions, we had fish chips and peas £16.00 , eating area outside could do with a tidy up

Fantastic Lunch in the sunshine by the beach . Beach Hut , Steephill Cove , fantastic food and service , large Crab 🦀 salad and prawn sandwich , Perfect 👌

Good food authentic except chips were generic Chairs not very comfy Not great service, bit grumpy and disjointed Stuff missing on menu Toilets need a redcor Nice atmosphere Worth a visit but not amazing Didn’t try zebra as there was none

The restaurant looks tired particularly the men’s toilet. Duck rolls were served so hot they burnt the inside of my mouth. Could not taste the duck. Green curry was just ok. Staff were very kind.

I spotted this restaurant very near where we were staying for a few days. Sadly won’t be able to return as we live in the SW. we loved it, great staff, great food and ambience. The homemade ice cream is fabulous, so smooth and creamy. Please ditch the artificial flowers on the railings of the steps, and inside. I do find that off putting.

Well that was a very sad experience at Wisborough Green, we had booked for a birthday lunch with family, as always the staff are very polite, but that's where the good bits end. Roast chicken meal served and was warm at best boarding tepid, requested replacement which came and and sadly when cut had some blood so I requested again for it to be taken away. Apologies we're offered and asked if I like a replacement, to which I said no as I lost interest in eating, so after sitting letting the other members eat, we were asked for deserts, I chose cheese and biscuits, gulp so everyone was half way through thier deserts and my C and B arrive to which point I said "no thank you" you can't just serve me two poor meals and then serve me a c and B when everyone else was half way through thier desert. The server did say apologies again and said I would not pay for my meal! Buy hey I never ate anything. I don't honestly feel anything of substance was offered as an apology, maybe a free drink or some discount for the family would have gone a long way to make amends. A very sad day. I end with saying that all the staff were extremely polite.

This is a beautiful (ALWAYS BUSY) cafe hidden in the middle of the road. It offers a beautiful sanctuary to retreat from the busy life to meet with family and loved ones so you can catch up, have breakfast and enjoy the warm interior and then stunning selections of foods and snacks. Their coffee is delicious and it comes in a MASSIVE mug, liquid love in a cup for sure. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area if the weather decides to allow some warmth and sunshine it is a great area to socialise int be outdoors. Highly recommend :)
