We visited a few nights ago and just after we arrived there were three tables of golfers (about 40 in total) seated. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient and our service couldn’t be faulted. They seemed to be looking after the large tables very well too, which is to be commended. The reason for my rating was the actual food, we had three dishes, chicken dhansak, hydrabad chicken and the potatoes with mustard. The dishes all looked and tasted the same, and seemed to be made with the same sauce. (I wondered if that was to make it easier to cater for the large groups). The naan however was delicious and there was a good selection of drinks. Perhaps we chose the wrong time to visit, please try it yourself as there are many great reviews.
This is a lovely little place with great service and real care is taken over the food which was delicious. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back.
Beautiful venue with plenty of space at the back. Outdoor area is wonderful. The menu has a good selection of vegetarian options and everything we ate was delicious. Will definitely return.
Only been to the Spice Master on two times , both very impressed, staff friendly, decor was good , the food was really good at a fair price .definitely will visit more regularly now , well done all
We ended up going at a busy time, but was no trouble. Got given a buzzer and details taken. The only issue we had was we felt in the way as the bar area wasn't very big, and as the rugby was on we had to stand near the doorway. Food was lovely, and will definitely return!
We had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant and I strongly advise others to avoid it. We ordered a mix of Indian curries and Indo-Chinese dishes, and not only was the food bland and oily, but it also seemed far from fresh. To make matters worse, both of my kids fell sick with a tummy bug after eating here. They were up all night with stomach cramps and nausea, which completely ruined our evening.
The curries were greasy and flavourless, lacking any authentic spice or depth, while the Indo-Chinese dishes tasted like they had been reheated multiple times. The food quality was so poor that we barely managed to finish our meal.
I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially families. The lack of hygiene and subpar food standards are alarming. Please do yourself a favour and stay far away from this restaurant – it’s simply not worth the risk.
