The best restaurants in South East

Friendly little shop, the food is better than expected. We ordered dry-fried beef river noodles, beef brisket rice noodles, Xingzhou fried rice and corn chicken rice. The dry-fried beef ho and Xingzhou fried rice are well done, dry enough but not stale. The other two discs are average, but they are better than other Chinese Takeaways in Oxford. The price is okay, not too expensive, usually around 9 pounds for butterfly rice. Parking is available in front of the hotel, which is very convenient.

While the A La Carte menu looked amazing, we opted for the highly affordable £25 lunch menu, of three courses. Also opted for a glass of fizz each. Service was impeccable, and the chef’s sushi started was spicy tuna and prawn hosomaki, impeccable and delicious, with some kind of beautiful green caviar as embellishment. Mains were teriyaki chicken noodles and katsu curry, the former was great and the latter’s sauce was like no katsu I’ve had before, fruity, sweet and spicy at the same time, but no one flavour overpowering. Dessert was doughnuts with Nutella and those little Mochi(?) rice ice cream balls which were both delicious. All in all a great and affordable lunch.

Goat curry, mac and cheese, rice and peas were perfect! Plantain on the side is a must. The oxtaill was decent but seemed slightly overdone and had a smokey, almost burned after taste to it but giving the benefit of the doubt that was a great one off batch. Overall highly recommended for some good Caribbean comfort food

By far the best Peri-Peri Chicken 🍗 in all the surrounding areas! I usually eat freshly prepared grilled foods that are seasoned well and burst 💥 with a combination of well blended flavours which Evoq have definitely 💯 got it spot on! I would highly recommend coming here for lunch 🥗 or dinner 🥘. Top quality on Presentation and Hygiene! Top quality on Food and Flavours! Top quality on Prices and Portions! Top quality on Hospitality and friendly Customer Service! These are my personal basis and checkers on whether I ever come back to eat at a place again so they’ve passed all with flying colours which is very very rare..👍🏽👍🏽🙌🏼👏🏽. Go see for yourself! 😉

Visiting from Wales and stumbled across this chip shop van. When we arrived there was a hoard of people waiting for their orders so we knew it was going to be good. Fantastic food, brilliant service, really quick and reasonable price. Highly recommend

Come here with my family and had breakfast with fresh orange juice We also selection of pastries and cakes and to finish Coffe and pastel the nata, which makes me feel in Portugal Also they have large selection of Portuguese and Brazilian grocery and the best wines that I just saw in Portugal before

Very disappointed with the coffee this morning .no large lids .and the price.this was not the first time this as happened.

we have visited here a few times, and it is by far our favourite Vietnamese restaurant. we are a family of meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans, and we have finally found a restaurant that caters for all of us which we all love! the fried spring rolls are the best!! it doesn’t look like anything fancy from the outside, but don’t let that put you off, as the food is absolutely brilliant!

Back at the start Of 2020 I ordered my daughters 1st birthday cake, paying the disposit and then at a later date half the price. Due to coronavirus everything was closed I message the owner and explained I would like to hold of until everything opened up properly she agreed and said that’s okay. By the time everything opened again it was nearly her 2nd birthday, I messaged to order the cake and was completely ignored so not only did they have the deposit they kept half of my money for the cake and ended up going somewhere else.

First visit to the cafe. It is brilliant! Delicious large breakfast, beautifully cooked by friendly staff. Great value too! Plenty of free parking.

Excellent quality service the best taste felafel I have ever tasted the wonderful I had an amazing experience I really enjoyed.the nice and everything was clean and the staff were very welcoming the best restaurant which I have visited was in Canterbury.

What a lovely cafe this is. This was the first time I'd popped in. I had an Americano with Soya Milk and thought the coffee was excellent and the portion for a medium size coffee was really substantial. This cafe is a gem and the waitresses are lovely and exceptionally well mannered and helpful. Lovely 80's music in the background provide atmosphere without being at a volume that is overpowering This cafe offers excellent service, and good prices with a big smile. Pop in and treat yourself. I know I will want to visit here in again soon.

Best fish and chips I have had from a chip shop for years. Fish cooked to order, skinless which I prefer, chips crisp on outside soft inside. Will definitely teturn
