Lorenzo's in Guildford

We had a really lovely breakfast at Lorenzo’s this morning – the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served quickly. The café itself is spotless and has a warm, welcoming family feel to it. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t resist picking up some of their homemade cakes to take away – they looked too good to leave behind! We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The worst coffee I’ve ever tasted in my life, anywhere in the world. Tasted and smelled like burnt paper. The food is mediocre, a bit less expensive than most places in Guildford but the quality is subpar compared to what you can get in the area.

Had the most brilliant Caesar salad, the lunch menu here is excellent. Its a beautiful place with really friendly staff. One of the best cafes in guildford, a must visit.

Have a freshly made tuna and avocado salad which I throughly enjoyed. My brother had beef baguette served with hot chips . I recommend these two.

A great place to have a treat breakfast on a Sunday morning! We had a veggie breakfast and a mini breakfast. The 'mini' is pretty substantial. Good table service, and a nice busy atmosphere. A repeat visit was even better! Really consistent good service. Update: still amazing, efficient and great for a Sunday morning after swimming at the Lido! Family, couple and single friendly. Just great.

Cute little coffee shop - nice vibe. Breakfast bap with sausage was lovely, the baguette version was very hard and dry. Coffee was good.

Love this cafe, great staff and food. Reasonably priced for the food you get. Also great outdoor area at the back of the cafe giving more space as it can get busy on the weekend! Always see locals here which is a sign of how nice it is here. Owner is a great guy too, can tell he cares and looks after his staff as its family run.

What makes an independently owned business different from a big name brand? The owner cares. At Lorenzo's they care alot and do their best to serve customers as if their livelihood depends upon it. Because it does! Freshly cooked delicious food. No fuss. Clean and well presented. No you wont get haut cuisine. But you will leave comfortably full and with a smile on your face. Free on street parking in surrounding roads. Recommended

What an absolute gem of a café. Wonderful atmosphere, brilliant food and very pleasant staff! Im gutted its taken me so long to actually try it out! Cant recommend enough. My daughter had a Jacket potato with cheese, beans and sweetcorn and it was huge! I had Lorenzos breakfast and i have to say, its by far the best cafe breakfast ive had in years. Best in Guildford by a long shot!

Service was amazing and very tasty food.

The overall ambience was very relaxing. Coffee was excellent. Breakfast panini tasted average. The panini took 20 min to come to my table which I thought was long.

This cafe is without doubt our favourite coffee shop in Guildford. The coffee and food is exceptional & great value and the staff are delightful. The covered area at the back of the cafe is a snug and warm area with wall heaters. All in all, I can’t understand why we have walked past here so often and sat in faceless dirty coffee shop chains in the town!!

Lovely coffee restaurant. After my best friends wedding last night and checking out the hotel, we were looking for a nice place for breakfast before we drive back home. We love this place. A hybrid of service (counter, table &/or both) which never disappoints; they’re quietly attentive. The ingredients are expensive, the portions are generous & the prices are very reasonable. Coffee is exceptional. We just love it all.

We’ve loved it here so much we’ve been twice in one month. And I FaceTimed my dad 2 weeks ago and he was in there! It’s safe to say it’s a family hotspot at the moment. It’s such a good cafe. I highly recommend visiting. My partner is a huge fan of the crunch flapjack !

I pass this place at least twice a week for a considerably long time without ever venturing in, until recently. Well it was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had breakfast There were choices and I had mine in a baguette. Very satisfying and washed down with a 'propa cuppa' I left full and contented 30 minutes later, as I did, i asked myself why I had eaten there before! But certainly will from now on. PS been there more times since, and please to add that the place is just as welcoming and food as good as ever. Disfruta.

We went 2 days. Full english and avocado on toast with poached egg perfectly cooked. Fast friendly service in pleasant room. There are also tables under an awning at the back.

So staying in Guildford for a few days. I wanted to try something different other than McDonald's or your standard chain. I found this after searching Google with great reviews, I knew I was expecting high things. Walking in it's a great atmosphere. I order the breakfast baguette with chips. I didn't have to wait too long and the portion size was great and not to much and not too little. There is an outside area with a roof to cover from rain etc. Also, the inside is nice and very well decorated. There is one toilet and it also has baby changing facilities. Overall, I really recommend and worth having a trip too, maybe a short walk from town but well worth it. If I'm back in Guildford, I'll be back.

Good spot for some brunch or a hot drink, not far from Stoke Park. The hot chocolate was great but the avo and eggs were let down by the tough bread. Still a lovely spot with outdoor seating at the back.

Lorenzi’s is a local family friendly dog friendly cafe. Offering a range of cooked English breakfast food with burgers and salads with wines, cider and beer.

Top marks for a delicious Sunday breakfast. Delicious, perfectly cooked and generous portions. Friendly atmosphere and clearly popular. Definitely recommend this place - the Full English and Eggs Benedict especially.

Discovered this little treasure today! Lovely friendly staff, delicious food and great menu. Will definitely be recommending 🥰

Mini and full breakfast are of good size and good value. However, when ordering bubble and squeak. Beware, you will not receive what you order. You will be met with two small discs, the size of normal mug. I would call them small champ discs. Due to the fact that the ones I ordered only contained potato and spring onion. The service was fast and efficient. The condiments were of low quality. With a poor imitation of ketchup and hp sauce. The coffee was good quality, but cheap tea bags. There is a good selection of cold drinks. It's worth a visit if you can see past the flaws.

Lovely Café, the owner is amazing and always takes suggestions to heart for instance the student discount, we previously mentioned how it would bring in much more traffic and now he has started incorporating the discount and he reminds students that there is an amazing discount. Great coffee, great food, great service. I would definitely recommend the latte with a shot of caramel syrup as it is a personal favourite.

We arrived at Lorenzo's Café by chance. We were received in an exceptional manner. We enjoyed ourselves, plentiful, beautiful and good. In addition, the boss and staff are extremely friendly, caring and helpful (we were a little lost) Only positives! Thank you so much !! If we return to this city, we will undoubtedly stop there. 😁

Super food, clean cafe. They catered well for Gluten free - I had the Mini-breakfast which included gf sausages, and gf toast too, the portion size was large despite it being the small breakfast. Popular with the locals, outdoor seating at the back. Pet friendly. Would definitely go back.

Stopped in with a friend for lunch. The burger was fantastic! The little outdoor patio is nice and even though it's small, I didn't feel like other people were listening to our conversation. I'd be happy to go back.

Very nice café close to Stoke Park. The food is delicious, especially the jacket potatoes. The staff are friendly and very accommodating to our group that showed up close to closing time. Nice little outdoor area at the back too. Highly recommended.
