The best restaurants in South East

Have been coming to this fish n chip shop since my daughter was born - she's now 16. Always excellent. Always fresh. Batter crispy. Fish flaky. Perfect chips. So lucky to have this close to home. And just read they've been listed in the top 50 UK fish and chip shops. Thank you Everyone at Oysters for being consistently ace!

Barista is in super rush to make coffees. This shouldn’t be the way of making coffees. I had to return my coffee unfortunately. Costa needs to train its baristas immediately.

Me and my family get Chinese from ideal chef twice a week, I am a chef ( British gastro pub) and I saw some complaints because this chinese isn't just the factory made stuff you get at most chinese, it's real fresh cooked Chinese food with fresh veg make a banging sweet and sour, spare ribs, all fried rices and chow mein. If you have a taste for spice like me try the sea spicy beef. They eve do an all in one box for £7. The owners are so lovely they have become friends, brilliant people real family run restaurant, been going there for 17 years

Would be 5 stars all the way. But they really long out delivery sometimes even late do you have to call them

Shut down in September - but by November Tesco hasn't updated Google Maps or even its own website.

Waited over an hour for my food to arrive just for the delivery driver to call me up and curse at me over the phone telling me to come out of my house and meet him for the food. Nothing but stress when all I wanted was a peaceful night in and some great food. Customer service was not great at all when explained to yummy what had happened directly over the phone as this experience was unacceptable. Definitely won't be ordering from yummy chinese again.

We’re regular visitors as a couple or family with grandchildren in tow. The staff are wonderful and have become friends over the years. Food and coffee are always of the highest standard and the surroundings pleasant and comfortable. Definitely the best coffee shop in the area.

Just superb! have been in the evening but never in the daytime - would hightly recommend this to anyone in the area! I had a buddha bowl style salad and we shared a sticky chicken/satay as a starter, my colleague had the fish gujons - all freshly made and really really tasty. A lovely young lady called Hayley looked after us. Staff were all working hard but didnt appear stressed and they atmosphere was lovely. Cant wait to try one of the 'jazz sundays' many thanks.

Brilliant food. You could tell the chef was enjoying what he was doing, came out and opened the door for me on my way out. I can't fault any of the food.

I have tried their food many times since they reopened. The salt and pepper box has also been updated. We like the white egg fried rice very much because it is different from other takeaways . They also use curry sauce normally. Also, the first time I ordered crispy aromatics duck. I didn’t know that they had more meat and not enough pancakes, so we added extra pancakes next time. Thank you very much, I hope they can keep it up.

Great place for families to have breakfast or lunch with a fantastic deal for kids meal £1 and loads of space outside for them to run around, kick a ball about or visit the pirate park
