This place is great. Best coffee shop in Andover. Great friendly staff. Roxzy and her team are fantastic! Always friendly, always accommodating... They make me and my family, including my little toddler feel like part of the family.

We always enjoy Coffee #1 and this one was exactly what we have come to expect. We tried a couple of the seasonal coffees and had tea cakes. The staff were very patient when we had issues getting into the app to be able to use the loyalty scheme and didn't pressure us even though a bit of a queue was building up, we gave up. The tea cakes didn't seem as fresh as they often are.

Arrived 0900 on a Sunday, as needing an early healthy breakfast before onward travel to Norfolk. It seems the coffee machine was broken, someone was repairing it, hoped to open soon. Queue built up outside, people said this has happened before. Finally let in at 0950, machine repaired. Not really good enough, bit embarrassing really. Sort of amateur approach to business.

Always get good service with a smile, coffee is very good as well. I go to work on my laptop and as there are quiet spots I can easily get on with my work

We chose to have our breakfast here as the actual cafe looked nice, clean and comfortable. We were not disappointed. Good coffee and a nice selection of food. It was not busy so we got what we ordered straight away and the member of staff was friendly. In covid times this was a comfortable roomy cafe with clean toilets. Just what you need and I went back later in the day for a take away coffee.

Coffee 1 are generally the better end of the coffee chains althoigh they always seem really lacking in numbers of staff. This one is consistently good and the staff in here actually seem to care about their customers and always make excellent drinks. A great place to chill

Wouldn’t even give this place a 1*! They sold us a mouldy donut that my 3 gets old took a bite out of! When we complained to head office, the shop staff said we had taken in our own food from one of their competitors! Mistakes happen, but the way they have acted has been disgusting! The council are aware and investigating. Avoid at all costs!

This is a hidden gem of Andover. The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable and make an amazing cup of coffee. The variety is splendid and the look and feel of the shop is relaxing and rustic. They are also extremely eco-concious In short, this is now my main haunt in Andover and I hope they are around for many years to come

Just tried to have a peaceful pot of tea ( I know it’s a coffee shop but they do advertise a number of teas) having taken my money they they told me they didn’t have any teapots! So after trying to offer a small cup instead they seemed surprised I asked for my money back. both members of staff were very dour. Not sure why anybody would go in here, I certainly won’t . Just walk round the corner to The Blue Onion the staff were genuinely pleased to see me and they had teapots !

When this coffee shop first opened I loved everything about it. The service has gradually gone downhill along with the product on offer. The staff don't even try to hide the fact that they can't wait to finish their shift. Lacking in customer service. Shame!!

I go here nearly every other day (when in work, coffee is had!) They remember my order, which is impressive giving how busy they are. Whether I'm studying, taking out for a pick me up at work or sitting down for a casual cuppa with a friend, this is my go to. The coffee is delicious, as is the morning smoothie and mojito, cakes are impressive and moreish. I couldn't reccomend this place enough.

Nice surroundings but limited choice of cakes/sandwiches compared to other places. However what I did have was tasty and quickly served.

We had a very good soy cappuccino and delicious raspberry/white chocolate muffin. Nice place and friendly staff. Recommended

Since my last 5* review I visited this cafe a couple of times, and the coffee has been consistently worse than before, hope they fix this as it really is a shame, it used to be really good. 3* for now.

Excellent coffee, an good assortment of fresh cakes and pastries, plenty of seating, and excellent service. Thoroughly recommended.

I and my partner have been coming to Coffee 1 in Andover on average 4 times a week, every week for the last 3 months to use as a comfortable workspace as we work from our laptops. Bottom line Coffee 1 is the best option for an educated coffee experience within the area, by educated I mean the full-time guys actually know a thing or two about coffee. The customer service on the point of sale is great, you'll feel comfortable striking a conversation and you'll 'get what you give' in terms of respect from the team. The only challenge we faced as guests were on busy days when bussing routines in the Cafe arent done regularly meaning that when it tends to get busy you'll likely see a few trays out and might have to sit somewhere else. But if you understand how things work this really isn't the team's fault. One more person on duty could make a huge difference. Wifi at the shop is definitely the best in town, only having to refresh the sign-up process every half-hour, unlike any other coffee shop in town which either has really bad service or none at all. The taste of the coffee is always changing due to seasonal coffees coming in and out although the house blend is good enough for a little kick while working. (while writing this it's mid-busy and tables are being cleared in a professional manner so don't worry too much about that) If you are looking for a little date place I would avoid on a Saturday as you won't be able to hear yourself talk. Other than the pick-ups I felt in our time I would definitely recommend a visit depending on what you're looking for. Something consistent is the service from "Ed" (big friendly bearded giant) who has been really great to us and is always doing his best to create a comfortable environment for everyone. Hats off guys, keep it up.

I always make a point of popping in here when in town for a coffee and cake, not the cheapest but the atmosphere and comfort is well worth the extra cost compared to other coffee shops in town.

The best coffee in Andover, some snacks are not bad either. Colouring and books for children. Pleasant interior and atmosphere.

Lovely choice of coffee at a very popular coffee shop ,helpful hardworking staff and a good choice of cakes and sandwiches,plus other items,books theres an assortment of games,well behaved dogs allowed at the back.Sometimes a queue but not surprised as it's very good.

It used to be a No one coffee shop for me. Now I try to avoid going in here. Service is slow even not many customers around. The big man with beard and glasses is always very rude, he has been working here for a few months now. Last time he used spray to clean the cake’s fridge but without actually remove all cakes there! Does he not have any hygiene skill at all? We pay and spend money there!

Nope, we did not enjoy our coffee here...it tasted like it has been sitting on a warming plate all day. At our first sip we all made a face of disgust. BUT! The Lemon cake was awesome, combined with the coffee, it became bearable. It is difficult to find a coffee shop that uses personal french presses so at least you can control your coffee to be weak to strong. May I suggest you use french presses?

Always guaranteed a great coffee here. Lots of room and tables not too closer together. Nicest coffee shop in town I think.

It offers some of the most interesting house specialties which shouldn't be missed at all. Good value for money and highly recommended.

I’m not very keen on dogs inside cafes as you never know how they will behave but I can tolerate it. But what I find totally unacceptable is when a member of staff carries a dog drinking bowl from outside to inside, fills it up and carries it over to the dog then returns to carry on making coffee and serving food without washing his hands. I asked him to wash and he refused, saying he hadn’t touched the bowl. I said “you’ve just carried it in, that’s touching it”. He wouldn’t wash and then he kept looking over at me as he told his colleagues all about it. I will never go there again.

When ever I am in Andover town centre this is where I end up, it used to be Costa, but this place is better, including the coffee. Staff are friendly and nice atmosphere.

If coffee is your priority then this is the coffee shop to visit.

Good place for a chat with the tables not too crammed in. Nice open space and a pleasant change from the standardised coffee shops of most chains. Good coffee and excellent selection of cakes.

Went in for tea while travelling with friends. Nice place and friendly service with a good cup of tea which was served quickly. Selection of food looked good but we only wanted a cuppa. Good place to stop for a snack or drink. Parking in the multi story near Waitrose.

Flat white and a slice of capucinno cake. The flat white was good but not very smooth and the cake had little capucinno/coffee flavour at all, with the top icing/buttercream having an odd taste. A little disappointing.

I had a very nice coffee and my wife had a hot chocolate both were hot and had a nice taste. The surroundings were pleasant and it had a nice atmosphere.

You walk in and your heart lifts to someone attempting a stylised, attractive coffee shop in the centre of Andover. Sadly that is where the positive experience ends. The Manager was incredibly aggressive to my 10 year old daughter for bringing a Greggs bag in, yes we had been shopping and she was taking it home to be our pudding after lunch!!! The staff were automatons, clearly unhappy to be there, we then found all the tables to be filthy, the decor starts to look shabby as you look around, but then to cap it all the final, fundamental insult...........The coffee is the worst I have tasted in Andover! A woeful place to which we will never return.

Visited with daughter and grand daughter as this has been our favourite coffee house. However today I was horrified to witness a member of the catering staff go into the toilet and clean them in his apron he served food in. He didn't wash his hands or change his apron before serving on the counter again. When I commented to them I was asked., was there a problem with that? Then the comment was he was on his break!! When I asked had they not done their food safety course ( level 2 minimum for food handlers) they looked at each other blankly and said no! Now this is clearly not their fault but that of their manager. Food safety training is compulsory for all food handlers, you are compromising the health not only of your customers but your staff as well.

Friday afternoon and a comfy place to sit and rest.

When I first found out we were getting *another* coffee shop in Andover, I did not know what to think. 'Alas, for we already have 14,000 in the Chantry Centre alone!' I hear you cry. It's okay, fellow mortals, as did I. However, I can honestly say this place is very cosy, very conveniently located within the town centre and the drinks themselves are beautifully and deliciously crafted. Why I'd even go as far as to say the staff there are like little dwarves of alchemy, concocting away on their flawless brews. Only without the dwarf part.

Thanks to Matt the fantastic manager I have a place to socialize post uni, great coffee and some super staff this is my favorite place to be every Friday. The coffee is good and the place has a cool rustic aesthetic.

Decided to pop in whilst shopping with my family, i can easily say it is the best coffee shop in town with a an excellent interior and fantastic staff.

Every time I go into this coffee shop I am greeted with a welcoming smile. I really like the variety of the drinks on offer and the coffee is amazing. The food is just as good. I will be going back to this coffee shop again not just for the drinks and food the staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable about the drinks they have on offer.

Very nicely decorated, spacious and quick service. Serves some unusual smoothies which I really enjoyed.

Best coffee and service in town! Haven't been anywhere else since my coffee #1 virginity was taken. The service is brilliant and so is everything else in there. Couldn't fault it. Also I love the general decor and atmosphere 😊

I've been coming to this coffee shop for months now, I used to work in the industry so my standards can be rather high, but this store meets them. Great variety and a wonderful atmosphere with great staff. Would really recommend a drop in!

Without a doubt this is the best coffee shop in Andover. Competent, and considerate staff accompanied by good quality food and coffee, is a good combination!

A dark liquid brewed from ground beans, goes best with a biscuit or slice of cake. When consumed it provides temporary stamina and focus buffs, additionally providing 100% speed bonus for up to 6 hours. Alternatively, when thrown, the brew can apply burning to the target of your choice.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service and quality coffee. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Alas, the coffee. At least they sell the Aeropress so you can go home and find out what coffee is supposed to taste like. Buy one, find out (may take a little experimentation, but so worth it).

During these summer months, we have taken full advantage of the buy one get one free on the Frappe, Smoothies and Juices they offer after 2 pm. As long as each cup is the same size and flavour, you just pay for one!

Had a coffee and cake at this coffee shop plenty of room, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff.Coffee One are far better than the big chain shops. Worth a visit.

Our order was taken by a lovely man (can't remember a name, sorry!) who helped me decide on a drink. Really nice and clean cafe, which is new to Andover, so it has a lot of competition. But the pricing was good, staff lovely and the setting and seating area was nice and had a different feel from the other coffee places in the town centre.

This has now become a favourite of ours for daytime Andover. A good variety of coffees also of Americanos which is unusual. Usual coffee shoppe fayre most enjoyable been back a few times. Also get to read a variety of newspapers, friendly and helpful staff. Well Done.

Lovely relaxing coffee outlet, comfy seating and friendly staff, . However have to queue for some time and could do with using a quicker serving method as used in Muffin Break

A decent cup of coffee and comfy seats all spoilt by the staff which seem not to be enjoying their job which reflects in their attitude towards the customers. I have been in there several times now and received the same 'welcome' !

Visited for coffee ... usually good service but was very busy. Tables were not cleared .. so being the helpful person that I am.. I cleared the previous occupants cups onto a tray and was taking over to the serving area when a very stressed young waitress grabbed the tray from me and said in a non friendly tone "I'll take that" ... and with a huff off she went. One of our party had ordered food which was brought to the table by the same girl who didn't even check who it was for... just hurriedly slammed the plate on the table and flounced off. She clearly was far too busy to give any kind of customer service. Suggest hiring more staff to help her out ☕☕☕
