The best restaurants in South East

We came across this pub before Christmas and we loved it so much we have spent the past three Sundays having our roast dinner even booked again for next week…. The staff our amazing and the food is 10/10

Clean as can be but definitely needs some maintenance. This is a noisy place. 3rd and last time I will stay here now. Creaking floors, soft closers on doors worn, noise from outside ventilation.

Is been a week they've reduced some prices but they increased other staff and I wonder why they are kidding us?

Lemon & Pistachio cake looked good at £4.25 - one slice left so ordered for takeaway. Only when got home did I find the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. It was less than the slice on display… Absolute rip off. Can only presume they wanted some for themselves. Didn’t see the slice give. As was wrapped up. Honduras coffee was £4.35 and wasn’t good.m either. Service wasn’t good either - both staff sullen. Had to ask for the cake that I’d paid for. No milk out for the coffee and that seemed a chore for them to get more.

First time trying this place, the server over charged us by about £15, then didn't know how to do a refund on the card machine, and could only offer £7 in change. The chips were really soggy. Overall, a really bad experience.

Been closed for forever and the website has been hacked. Have reported to Google but they ignore.

It was a cold day and we visited for a cup of coffee and to see the recently opened pub. The lovely open fire was unlit and there was no atmosphere. For an old pub the decor was not suited to this lovely village pub. Another couple came in and asked for mulled wine, however the pub had none! So December, no fire lit, no mulled wine and staff that were not very engaging. We looked at the food menu and we felt over priced. I’m not surprised it’s closed. Hopefully it will re-open soon with someone with a better strategy.

Used to eat in Khans regularly. Now get takeaways on a regular basis. However after visiting this evening. Probably never again One member of staff was constantly sniffing and hoiking. I saw him rub his hand across his face under his nose and then go pick plates of food, without washing hands Unacceptable. Shame because the food is always delicious.

Lovely village pub. A warm welcome from the landlady. Visited on three occasions for something to eat at teatime, each time, a warm greeting and good service. Sadly, the current proprietors are leaving very soon, so I do not know what is happening in the future.

Very good food, not at all oily and very fresh. Had a phone call from the Restaurant asking how id like a certain dish, it showed that extra level of care.

Food was very good, the staff were nice, and the prices were well-priced. Eating in is definitely better than takeaway. A great find for Chinese food in Reigate!

Great place and good food and service.

Absolutely disgusting food in every way, portions were tiny, some food was burnt some undercooked and all was very pricey, £15 for a burger that didn’t even come near to a macdonalds standard. Nearly everything looked and tasted like it had been microwaved..

Llamamos para tomar un café a media mañana, ya que esta cafetería estaba frente a nuestro hotel, donde acabamos de registrarnos. El interior estaba un poco frío, ya que la puerta parecía estar más o menos permanentemente abierta. El café estaba bien, pero caro. Se incluyó un cargo por servicio que llevó el precio a £ 8. 74 por dos blancos planos.

Cod and chips cooked fresh. Reasonable size cod and great value. I would certainly call again.
