Booked a table on their website for 7.30pm and received a confirmation email. We arrived at 6.45 for a drink before dinner only to find a deserted ghost pub, no lights, doors locked!! Went home hungry!! Please turn off your booking system if you're not honouring bookings.

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in the UK! I booked a room for one night, but when I arrived, the hotel was closed, no one was there, and no one answered the phone. If so, why can I still book a room on the website? ? ? And I successfully paid 128 pounds? ? ? I spent about 2 hours looking for a new hotel and I didn't want to have nowhere to go at night. Fortunately, there was a kind taxi driver who accompanied me to find a hotel, otherwise I would have ended up on the street at night! ! ! This is a terrible hotel with terrible service! ! !

Booked for 3 nights, arrived to check in at 5.30pm and the hotel was locked up! Not a soul in sight. Have had to find emergency digs elsewhere at my own expense.

Honestly the worst chicken chow mein I've ever seen. Big lumps of slimy unseasoned chicken, oily noodles and about 5 bean sprouts that looked like they weren't fit to eat this time last year. Only ordered the one thing so I'm unsure about the rest of the menu but I don't intend to find out on the basis of this experience.

78 Charlton RoadWe arrived and were seated very quickly, we were served by an extremely friendly member of staff -Jay who took our drinks order and delivered to our table and then took our food order. I must say she was so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. She checked in to see if our food was ok and replenished our drinks. The food was delicious but I can honestly say we had the best service from this young lady which enhanced our experience.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

28 Appleton RoadA great, stylish accommodation in an old inn. Location: The pub is in a small town about 20 minutes from Oxford. Park: The house has its own, spacious and free parking space. Room: Our room was huge and rustic. Nevertheless, it was somehow modern, especially the bathroom, everything was harmonious and comfortable. An old, steep staircase leads up to the room above the pub. Although the room is directly above the dining room, it was very quiet and no noise could be heard. Bathroom: The bathroom was large and modern. Plus, always pleasantly warm. Staff: All the staff, both at reception and at dinner and breakfast, were extremely friendly and nice. Breakfast: You could choose breakfast from the menu and it was freshly prepared. Delicious. Bar/Restaurant: Quaint pub and restaurant with very tasty food. We really enjoyed the evenings here. Price-performance: The price for the overnight stay is a little higher but the price/performance ratio is still okay.
