Delicious food and great service! Desserts were delicious too! Wonderful after a long day shopping! What a wonderful treat!

You always receive a warm welcome when entering this pub which has the most historic & architecturally pleasing facade in KL. It’s only Monday but they still manage to have 4 cask ales on - 3 of them brewed locally. If visiting for the first time - do visit St Mary’s churchyard directly behind the Sun.

Visited for my nephew’s 21st. Great food and great service. So much fun. Will definitely go back. Nothing was too much trouble

This is the best bar on smithdown road.....there is an amazing person who works there with tounge piercing who is just amazing and soooo professional and empathetic.... But every person on the bar was lovely..... professional and efficient. ...x

Food was fantastic and the service was too. The food in particular was absolutely delicious. Throughly enjoyed our time at Elliot’s we are regulars and always love it.

There are 2 adjacent restaurants. One is vegetarian, the other not. We went into the vegetarian one as my wife is. I am not. The food was excellent, including for me. The staff are friendly. The prices are very reasonable.

Absolutely fantastic, proper home made food. Not many pubs left around like this these days and this is a real gem.

The room was fabulous, with a newly furnished shower room and a balcony door which led down steps into the garden. Ideal for dog owners. We found beds for the dogs, and bowls with lots of doggy biscuits. There was also a map showing 2 different walks. The woodland walk was brilliant, about 40 minutes.Bar was great. No chef available so no food but we were able to get a takeaway and eat in the restaurant with crockery and cutlery provided. Ideal. Very friendly, very professional. Highly recommended.

1st visit to the restaurant and have to say food was amazing, we had the special for our main, everything had its own individual flavour and was perfectly presented, staff were attentive and knowledgeable, looking forward to our next visit

I love this place especially your crispy cake slices. But your hot chocolate today was not good. Didn't complain as haven't got the time but far too much cream and marshmallows in hit chocolate so there felt like no hot chocolate to drink and what was there was not hot. Go easy on cream !

Superb service and excellent quality food. King prawn starter and mixed tandori with masala sauce, fabulously tasty. Chicken lovely and tender. Garlic naan, best weve had in a long time.

Wow! We're a family of 6 (age 3 up) and all 6 of us were blown away by the food, the Lasagne is actually going to forever live rent free in my head! Empty plates and DELICIOUS deserts! Sticky toffee pudding and gingerbread ice cream was perfection! Thank you so much guys and we will see you again real soon!

OMG , from the moment you walked in , what a welcome . 80/90 ‘s nite of music and dancing .. Food amazing and staff so attentive. Can’t wait to come back to Much Hoole ..
