I have dined at Sorrento for many years as it was my mum’s favourite restaurant. My wife and I returned after spreading my father-in-law’s ashes on Saturday at Our Lady’s church. There were around 13 of us and I was delighted that the food and service had not changed one bit. Whilst the boss was off picking up an award in Sorrento, his daughter Anna did a fab job running the show. Great experience and thoroughly worth a visit. All the best to the Sorrento team with the new restaurant opening in Birkdale in Feb 2025.

Came yesterday evening for my graduation meal. Unfortunately when we arrived the certain table I wanted when we booked was double booked with another party (which was no fault of the staff who was on shift) however we got seated in a different area and received Prosecco and starters which was kindly sorted by Adam, food and drinks was 10/10 and service was brilliant. Would definitely return 😊

We visit Greenslate farm at least once a week as a family for lunch or a coffee & have never been disappointed. The food is lovely, so reasonably priced & the staff are all super friendly. We love coming here at all times throughout the year & consider ourselves so lucky to have this on our doorstep.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Upper Crust Pizzeria in Orrell, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and immediately felt welcomed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, setting the stage for what turned out to be a truly memorable meal. Our waitress was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always there when we needed her. She made sure our drinks were constantly topped up without us ever having to ask, and her service was always prompt yet unobtrusive. It’s rare to find such dedication to customer care, and it really enhanced the whole dining experience. The food? Absolutely delicious! Each dish arrived piping hot, fresh from the oven, and bursting with flavour. You could tell that only the finest ingredients were used. The pizzas were perfect—crispy on the outside with just the right amount of toppings. Every bite was a delight. Overall, the combination of fantastic service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes Upper Crust Pizzeria a standout dining spot in Orrell. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

We arrived at 2 minutes to 2 pm ( food advertised 12-2) having walked 2 miles. I asked if they would serve us a sandwich but the chef refused. It wasn’t busy and we were very disappointed with the lack of response .

Awful. Been going here for years. Ordered a take out last night. Stale popadums, / mango and onions limp and old. Byriani, well one word. Toxic. Same for the Korai. Overall disagreeable standard of food. Have they got new owners?

Great food great service lovely staff

Food we had was excellent - the only complaint I have is that they try and cram everything into flimsy trays which are far too small and not substantial enough for the hot food and gravy. Apart from that thoroughly enjoyed it.

toast was burnt, sausages are super cheap dog meat style and arrived an hour late
